"A thoroughly disappointing experience! Having waxed lyrical about The White Hart, I am really disappointed to say that again today, the food was not good. Lukewarm and barely edible, the plates had obviously been standing around for a while! Anthea behind the bar, was obviously distressed for us and could not apologise enough but this is not the first time. She does not have the authority to allow a deduction for the poor offering. When cooking was carried out by the owner, never a problem but now, definitely second-rate. Again, Anthea was welcoming but had no time, she was run off her feet! Such a shame to see a great pub going downhill so badly. Time to go elsewhere!!"

Booked a table for 4 and a well behaved cockapoo when my son and his girlfriend came for the weekend. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals (as usual).2 had burgers,1 had battered chicken burger and 1 had lasagne. Brilliant.

Possibly the best burger in Lincolnshire for the price, which is around a tenner. This is highly polished and consistent food for the price most pubs slap on their basic offerings. We pop in occasionally for a work lunch when we fancy some hot food instead of sandwiches. Never had a bad meal, bad pint, or bad service. The interior is cosy in the winter and good outside seating for the summer. Can't recommend enough, worth a trip to csistor if close by and a no brainer if you're already in the town.
