I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserved a perfect score of 5.

We so enjoyed all 8 courses on the August menu, delicious flavours and fabulous combinations of foods. The restaurant is welcoming, relaxed and I cannot praise the service highly enough. This was my first visit, it won't be my last.

The pub, formerly a Wetherspoons, has been acquired by the Mountain Pub Co and is now back in action. It was bustling with customers when we stopped by, and we found it to be clean and well-maintained. The pints were reasonably priced.

This restaurant is lovely and cozy, with a personal touch. The five-course tasting menu was a great value. The dishes were creative and delicious, and the service was excellent and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. Meal: Dinner Price Range: £50–60 per person.

I dine at this restaurant every month and appreciate that they have a standard vegetarian menu available for review in advance. The vegetarian tasting menu is comparable to, or even better than, some I've had at Michelin-starred restaurants and it changes monthly. They are accommodating and willing to prepare a vegan version of the current month's menu upon request when making a reservation.

During my visit to the restaurant, I accidentally lost my purse. The next day, I spoke to the staff who confirmed they had seen it and even described a sentimental photo of my lost son that was inside. They took my phone number to contact me when they found it, only for me to discover that my number was being used online as a contact for the business. This behavior is completely unacceptable and there was no apology from anyone at this establishment.

The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. Despite the small size and the presence of animal dishes on the menu, there was no noticeable smell and we couldn't tell what other people were eating. The service was friendly and the meal was well-paced, allowing us to relax during the 3-3 1/2 hours we spent there for our 8-course meal. We wanted cocktails before our meal, but they only offered standard mixed drinks like G&T and rum and coke. A couple of the courses were disappointing due to a lack of seasoning, while others were amazing and flavorful. The desserts were outstanding, and the mushroom course was great as well. Meal cost £220 for 2, I do not generally complain because I don't like to make a scene and the waiting staff are not paid enough to put up with nonsense, that is what reviews are for. We were placed at a table basically in the front door when a table that was far more appealing was available all evening in the window, we were given a TEASPOON to consume our veloute. We ordered a nice pinot noir, we were not informed that this was not available and not given a choice for another, we were TOLD that our wine had been swapped because they didn't have the one we asked for and not asked if that was ok, just poured.
