What a find! A vibrant village pub run by the excellent Matt and Jess. We went on a Thursday evening, for a family birthday and had a lovely evening: great food and great atmosphere, will definitely be back

Amazing, walked in and even though it was busy we received a warm welcome from a very friendly chap. Overall service was amazing, food was beautiful and atmosphere cozy. My six year old son also enjoyed his meal and colouring.

We had booked as a group of 11 for the Christmas lunch menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the meal was well paced we didn’t have to wait long between courses but certainly didn’t feel rushed. We’ll definitely visit again View menu

Excellent service and food. We were a group of 9 and had prebooked a few weeks before. We were greeted, sat and served drinks almost immediately. Food followed on perfect intervals. We had pre ordered so we we’re guaranteed our choices and they did not disappoint. We were very much looked after. Food was excellent and we will be back.

Visited with family and friends for Christmas Eve lunch. We booked and pre ordered in advance and, despite some minor issues with the reservation, the table was ready when we arrived. Christmas menus can often be underwhelming, but everything here was spot on. The service was very good: friendly, attentive, but not over-the-top. The food was all superb in terms of preparation, presentation, and value. Having enjoyed our Christmas Eve lunch so much, I’m sure that we’ll be back soon!

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a welcoming log burner. The menu offers a variety of options, including choices for vegetarians, at reasonable prices. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. Despite being quite busy for a lunchtime at a village pub, I would recommend making a reservation to avoid any disappointment. Visited with friends on a Tuesday evening! We weren’t expecting it to be busy, but we booked just in case! Glad we did!! It was busy with people eating a few folk at the bar! They offered a deal on mains, which had a fabulous selection! The also offered specials, which one of my friends had! Firstly the warm welcome when you arrive from Matt Izzy. Then Tim came over to welcome us share their new menu! The service was great! The food was fabulous! And such good value! We will definitely be regulars to the lovely country pub! Special thanks to Matt Izzy! But to the chef too!

We booked a table for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. The friendly and attentive staff, especially Matt and Izzy, provided excellent service. The roast dinner was cooked perfectly, with Yorkshire puddings that were light as a feather. The desserts were equally delicious, including crumble, double brownie with cherry compote, sticky toffee pudding, and a mocha creme brulee that we quickly devoured. We enjoyed a selection of coffees and tea in the relaxed bar, where our dogs were spoiled and made to feel welcome with some doggie biscuits. We recently discovered that White Horse has reopened, so we decided to have Sunday lunch there with another family last weekend. We were so impressed by our first visit that we went back last night with some visitors from Spain. Once again, we had an excellent experience. The service was friendly and attentive, and the menu offered a variety of pub favorites as well as some unique dishes. We highly recommend trying the risottos, either the pea for a starter or the haddock for a main course. Personally, I found the steak burger to be the best pub food I've had in Northamptonshire.
