"What an amazing night from start to finish. With a group of friends we didn't know what to do on a Saturday night, so looked for recommendations on here and found The Yard was open and serving cocktails and food. We turned up without a booking in happy hour, and they accommodated the four of us on a spare table. There was a few people in who must come often as they recommend some great cocktails which I have to say we'reade to perfection. Would find it hard to find cocktails this good outside of London IMHO. The food was fantastic, mexican like this isn't something I've really had before as most places do a Tex Mex variation. Food so fresh, and we was told all home made by the restaurant which you can just tell. I had the pork on nachos to start as a sharer with my mate, and it was amazing and charged and so much flavour, followed by a chicken enchiladas which was tender, soft and saucy, just as I love it. Exceptional food, amazing drinks, such friendly service by what we later found out where also the owners, and just an lucky find and brilliant night. Top place here, a great find. Will defo be back soon as they said they are revamping the menu again soon. Can't wait "

We had a lovely brunch here, on our first morning in England, for two coffee snobs from Australia, and our friend, who is a local. Service, food, coffee were all fabulous.

My friend and I went for lunch. I had the gammon and cheese toasted sandwich. It was amazing, The gammon was delicious and the cheese was melted perfectly. The berry tea was very fruity and most ebjoyable.

When we got to the Yard the waitress was extremely helpful and told us how long the food would be, 20 mins, and asked if that was ok with us. I had the fish finger sandwich which tasted amazing and a large latte which was a very generous size. The price was very reasonable too. I will definitely be coming back. View menu

The Yard is an absolute gem. Went as a family of 6 (and dog) and had the best lunch in a long time. Burgers, ploughman’s, fish finger sandwiches, wraps, fruit smoothies and milkshakes….all absolutely delicious. You will have to wait 20-25 mins for your food to arrive but it’s worth the wait to have a freshly-made, delicious food at an affordable price. This is a family-run business. We all need to support businesses like this which provide amazing food, outstanding and friendly service, and keen prices on our doorstep. Lots of parking in the local area less than a 5 min walk away.

We had a wonderful evening at The Yard, lots of Mexican dishes to pick from the menu, i recommend the burrito with hot sauce! Absolutely delicious, so many flavours. Not to mention the huge drinks menu, you are stuck for choice as to what cocktail to have.. they are all amazing and taste so fresh! The service was fantastic, special shout out to Caitlin! It’s just a great vibe to go with friends and family, and of course we love it because it’s dog friendly, this was an impromptu drinks and dinner after work night so it was great we could bring our dog along for the evening too! Thanks Yard! See you soon! X

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at SoPa Thai, and it was truly a delightful experience! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to a world of Thai sophistication and allure. The culinary exploration began with Tom Kha, a delightful combination of coconut milk, galangal, and lemongrass. Each spoonful was a delicious harmony of creamy and zesty flavors that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. It wasn't just soup; it felt like a warm embrace in a bowl. Next, the beautifully presented Green Curry arrived. The curry was a work of art, filled with the richness of green chilies and fragrant basil leaves. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was incredibly tender, all bathed in a sauce that was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Then came the highlight of the evening, Pad Thai. The noodles were coated in a flavorful tamarind sauce, mixed with eggs, tofu, and a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The dish was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds amazed. The grand finale was the Mango and Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and sweet, a wonderful complement to the warm yet slightly salty sticky rice. Drizzled with coconut milk, this dessert was not just a treat but a festival of flavors. In summary, SoPa Thai is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary paradise. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise in balancing flavors and textures. If you're in search of an authentic Thai dining experience, SoPa Thai is the place to go. Their Tom Kha, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice take you on a journey through the heart of Thailand. I highly recommend it!"
