"After passing this place many times we decided to stop on the spur of the moment. The Crown is very understated outside no signs or billboards. We opened the door and wow! it was a perfect scene of a thriving country pub. There were lots of groups on the comfy sofas and chairs. As it was past 8pm and we hadn 't booked we asked if we could eat. Lovely response yes, of course would you like a drink while we prepare your table? A little later we were shown into the restaurant and had an delicious,interesting meal including both having a mackerel starter and I had venison to follow. All served with a smile. We will definitely return"

"We had booked a joint birthday celebration following a visit to J D Youngs earlier in the Summer, and wanted to return to dine in the beautiful restaurant area. The service was great, fully explained the menu, about the Harleston area and checked on us throughout our dining to check if we needed anything else ie more drinks/condiments etc, and asked how our food was. The food was well presented and very filling! The restaurant was warm and busy, providing a great atmosphere (especially on a Sunday evening in January). It felt like the start of the weekend as opposed to the end! They also arranged huge sparklers in a cake we had brought ourselves, and kindly cut up so we could all take some home. We were also surprised with a voucher for our next visit as a birthday treat. The management came to say hello which was very welcoming. It was great to see Danni and his team."

"Would definitely recommend going here just to try the burritos, absolutely delicious and jam packed with so much flavour and ingredients. There's lots of options to choose from, i'm vegetarian and had the spicy mushroom and halloumi which was amazing. Obviously due to lockdown it's takeaway only but i've been here previously and it's a nice family friendly coffee house with lovely staff and very reasonable prices."

"Visited for a family lunch. The staff were very friendly but the service was quite slow. Although we all enjoyed our food we were disappointed that the dishes were not home made. There were no promises that dishes were home made, but when I go out to eat and pay for a meal I expect someone to have actually cooked it for me. Having said that, there was a good choice on the menu and it is good value for money."

"Ate in this pub with a group of 16 The building is all so very clean especially the toilets!!! Great service from the staff with a lady obviously in charge and checking everything was right!! (Doing a great job!!)Spacious table nice and clean with comfortable chairsFood wad excellent considering the price we paid. We had a great steak, perfectly cooked with great flavour followed a by a lovely treacle pudding and custardI would return in a flash and can really recommend this establishment"
