"We dined outside that evening because of the heat and there is no fan in the resturant. Owing to the smell of the food, so many huge green flies were attracted. I didn't enjoy it and the only waiter there said he couldn't do anything. It's true. What could he do? Waving his hands above our tapas? The food was ok in general but the chorizo was not as tasty as before I tried in winter time. The octopus was tasteless and sandy and the potatoes underneath was just boiled with loads of olive oil. I wanted to eat Paella and asked whether they would take any special order out of their menu. Oh the waiter came back with an answer ' 20 Euro each'! That's not cheap. All in all, we had 2 glasses of wine, one large bottle of sparkling water and 5 tapas - parma ham, olives, octopus, sardines, cold soup, cost less than 70 Euro."

Great food, service, it is always a good, relaxing night out, the aioli is fabulous. We have been there many times, it is a beautiful little place, nice for something special.

Food was great, service was great, quiet for a Monday night but highly rated for Tapas. Not sure what the issues are about price but they are very reasonable given the quality of the food!

Always worth a visit. Great atmosphere, great hosts, super tasty tapas and wines as well as an individual day ticket. However, you should take time to enjoy, this is also the idea behind it! View menu

totally demolished over the wein and calculates euro per bottle .never again. the waitress said she had no wine list and told us the price. We all heard that she claims that it is simply not necessary to pay this price for...good wee in a restaurant in eat.

Totally ripped off over the wine and charged 60 euros per bottle ....never again. The waitress said she had no wine list and told us the price.... We all heard 19.50 she maintains she said 59.50 ... there's simply no need to pay that price for good wine in a restaurant in Essen.

the food is unfortunately only average for Spanish cuisine and overpriced for the quality of the foods compared to other Spanish restaurants in Essen, düsseldorf or frankfurt. patatas a la pobre were very simple, albondigas were in order, pulpo a la gallega was a bit cold and the part was too small. the only court that was missing nothing was somego queso a la sevillana, I really enjoyed it. the service was also very good. in all, unfortunately, not really worth a visit. I visited the restaurand with some colleagues on the rain night. we tried many of the foods and some drinks. Drinks are good, some foods too, some other foods were quite salty. it's a little minus my side. Unfortunately, the main problems were that there was terrible kitchen smell in the whole restaurant this evening. After my departure I had to ventilate all my clothes (due to the business trip I had not too many spare clothes). therefore I do not really recommend the place.
