Ottimo cibo,pesce freschissimo e sono stati molto cordiali e gentili.il posto è molto carino.

ottima trattoria tipica veneta con ottimi antipasti. il proprietario ha una presenza molto bella ed esuberante. rapporto qualità prezzo onesto!

Fish selections are superb. The soft shell crab appetizer is perfection. In Venice one must have tiramisu after all it was invented in Venice. Their’s is the ultimate! Reasonable prices and great wine! View menu

We had a fantastic meal here We had been recommended by an Italian friend of ours who lives in Milan but knew Bepi well. Very authentic Venetian food and tremendous quality in a place that can be so hit and miss given the number of hungry tourists with little clue on what’s what.

Quando tornerò a Venezia, so già dove farò cena: qui da Bepi (Loris) !!!Frequento Venessia da una quarantina di anni, ho imparato a evitare le parti turistiche della città e posso dire finalmente ho trovato ciò che cercavo: un ristorante tipico frequentato dagli abitanti dei pressi, una garanzia !Che dire... dal primo piatto si capisce che in cucina c'è qualcuno che non fa tanto per fare, ma ci mette conoscenza, esperienza e amore.Scampi e carciofi per iniziare e spaghetti al nero di seppia per finire... accompagnati da un bel vino bianco... il tutto una libidine !!!Tornerò a Venessia per l'ennesima volta e tornerò da Loris...garantito !!!

Food was good to be fair Host was also polite and friendly. I had steak the Mrs had Ravioli. My dish was a decent size and the Ravioli appeared to be a few mouth fulls. Good service but service charge not included on receipt as I was kindly informed by the staff (hint hint), so a nice tip always required requested.? I gave 11% tip as the gent looking after us tried his best to look after us. One query I would have as its the 1st time it's ever happened to us when eating out.? They gave us dry bread before our main meal with no butter just a bowl of really dry bread to eat. Is this something common in Italy.? I've well travelled and this was a first for me.? View menu

After a 4 hour train trip from Rome to Venice with our young kids, we needed to eat. The place our hotel recommended was closed until dinner time, so we went into the this place. Good location, quite a few people sat outside eating, we thought it should be fine. The food was just OK. The glasses for water were dirty, so was some of the cutlery. One of the waiters (the large guy! was friendly and joking with our kids when taking our order. After that the service went downhill. The food was slow to come out. As soon as it looked like one of us had finished eating, he came over asking if we wanted to pay cash or card and brought the bill. There was a cover charge hand written on the bill and he...

Food good, location great, service and bill a RIP OFF. After a decent meal with family of 6 the bill arrived. I noticed an 11% surcharge of 19€ which he marked out with a pen but was STILL added to the bill. See attached bill. While I was pulling out my credit card the waiter said..”and if you would like to add a tip for me that would be appreciated.” I said there is already a service charge of 19€. He said that goes to the restaurant and none to him. I must have had turnips all over me from just falling off the truck. . With the look I gave him, having travelled Europe enough to know they shouldn’t even be adding service, he said “But it is completely up to you.” I signed the bill and left...

On our trips to Venice we normally eat at Pontini's which is on the opposite side of the canal to this restaurant is very good but as the Chinese are back travelling again following the relaxation of Covid restrictions there were queues over the way so we decided to give this restaurant a try. We started with the tomato bruschetta and a bottle of white wine. I became a little suspicious when the waiter tried to get us to buy a very expensive bottle of wine which we didn't despite his pressure. Along came the bruschetta and although the tomato topping was fresh plentiful the bread was soft it hadn't been toasted !.
