"Stayed here for my first trip to Germany (or Europe for that matter . Affordable compared to American hotels, especially for what you get! Nicest place I've ever stayed in, and the staff were all so nice and accommodating. I foolishly forgot my electric outlet converters and the front desk had run out of them but they were happy to give me a USB hub so I could at least charge my phone. The rooms were clean and beautiful, very high ceilings with large windows that opened up to the courtyard. My bathroom had a standing shower, as well as a very roomy bathtub which was so wonderful to use after a long day of travel and business obligations. The hallways between the rooms were also beautiful and the front-facing ones were lovely to watch the sunset. The breakfast buffet was so good, and I loved the fresh squeezed juices they had. Restaurants on location were also all great, although we didn't get to try Vendome (bummer! . I'd recommend this place to anyone."

Good Italian food in the second restaurant of the hotel. Great wine choice at reasonable prices (for a Swiss).

2e avond van gastronomisch arrangement diner in enoteca. vriendelijk en gastvrij. sfeervol terras waarbij je het gevoel lifts daadwerkelijk in italië te zijn. de kwaliteit van de justen was helaas iets miner naar onze smaak.

Nice selection of food, appetizer, main courses and desserts. Good wine card, but since I was the only one drinking, I was forced to buy by the glass. €31 for two 0,2 glasses, even if it was good wine, was a bit too much. Food was also overpriced. Service was good.

ambiente and service I found good; ate I have eaten the 2 course lunch menu with a glass house wine at the price of 26.50. the appetizer: sweet salad consisting of rucola and essentially paprikagemüse was thirsty, the main dish with freshlings gulasch and polenta was good and tasty. the parking fee of 7,50 € in the hotel's own parking garage is not in any ratio to lunch price. The property was fairy-tale like! My husband took me for a weekend for my birthday. He arranged for the staff to have champagne and cake at our arrival, which was such a cute surprise. It was close to Christmas time so the lights and the Cologne Christmas market gave it all an extra glow. We had a suite, which was very grand, spacious even for US standards. The dining facilities were opulent. It was a treat to stay here.

in the beige of the hotel reservation a 5 steps menu included. the reception as well as the entire service service over the evening was very pleasant and not intrusive. the distances between the passages was exactly right, the wine tasting was good.Culinary high-gloss were not, but we had not expected. each floor was very well tasted and finely seasoned. The ambiente on the terrace was very relaxing, we liked it.priced but justified. Our evening is worth a recommendation.

Whilst not quite as peaceful and relaxing as its sister hotel (Schlosshotel Lerbach) this is nevertheless one of the best hotels in Germany. Service from all staff is excellent and very firiendly. The buffet breakfast is extremely extensive. Views from the hotel are excellent. Access to central Cologne is very easy via the nearby tram line. There are tow restaurants at the hotel. Enoteca is an Italian Trattoria style restaurant. Vendôme is a 3 Michelin star restaurant with chef Joachim Wissler arguably one of the best 3 chefs in Germany. View menu

a very successful ambiente (both inside and in the hof) and tasty eating too reasonable tariffs have given us a nice evening. the greeting from the kitchen was very successful and plentiful and surpasses by far the usual Italian restaurants. the positive impression then continued. especially the meat cooked at low temperature was great. there it could not do the pleasure that the avized supplements were unfortunately out.The impression that the service left was mixed. the first waitress was (not only to us) evidently disinterested and not excessively friendly. only the change of the waitress led to improvement.

excellent eating, perfect, authentic, so must be Italian kitchen. a successful selection of wine. from the appetizer (minestrone as from oma, world class) to the main courts would simply have succeeded everything! would not these service forces ask the ones with the attached smile and an inappropriate arrogance the successful evening. the restaurant management is friendly, but completely overwhelmed. the service workers do not deserve the name, to be highlighted is a young lady who distinguished herself by her arrogance instead of working through trained. Pity! it would be helpful for the house if you knew how to instill wine, approach the gas or communicate with the gast.We started to use t...
