"Everyone mourned to the old town forest house in Mettmann when he had to sneak after a long tradition. There were various rumors and stories about the reasons. The service was very fast, maybe a bit too fast, because we hardly had a place we were asked for drinks. "Ok, this is really off the beat and track and I was introduced to this restaurant by acquaintances. It's what I call a typical German bistro and the great thing about it is what you see is what you get. We started with a salad which is part of your dish followed by a fabulous jäegerschnitzel. Cooked to perfection! As I still had room for another dish, I decided on an Argentinian rump steak with mushroom sauce and French fries, pretty much the same as dish number one. That was really good too. All in all, a great experience and good quality for money"

"I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Excellent and lovingly prepared food that is always prepared quickly. The hostess is always open for nice conversations and very dedicated to the guests. The outdoor area is very cozy for a relaxed beer or food. Look forward to many more visits that will come!"
