"A lovely tradition pub with plenty of character and a great selection of local ales and beers. The staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming as well as knowledgeable about their selection of drinks on offer. A special shout out to Berty on the bar who was very attentive and helpful during my visit. There is plenty of parking at the rear of the pub as well. Definitely worth a stop for a drink if going past."

Really friendly and welcoming pub. Food is freshly prepared and homemade . Been twice and both times had specials which tasted amazing. The staff are all really friendly and provide an excellent service. Love the decor and feel of the place. It can get busy so worth booking. Can't recommend this place enough

Family gathering here again superb food love the chips) served with good hot meals even though there was a lot of us if a big party I recommend email an idea of foods and requirements before so chefs have an idea) staff looked after us all well hopefully be back in 18 months for the next milestone birthday party

This is the 2nd visit for my husband and I. We came here to celebrate my husbands 60th, we are from coventry but staying for 2 wks. There are not enough stars for this pub. The food, especially the lasagna and the beef and ale pie are exceptional. The staff are fabulous, very, very friendly, the service is excellent
