"First visit and will definitely be back! The gentleman gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to our waitress. Quickly seated and drinks order taken. The staff were all young but so friendly, efficient and accommodating. One friend was GF and the waitress explained what GF options were was available which was quite extensive. Our starters arrived promptly, everyone was raving about the portion size and how delicious they were. The mains followed and were all amazing. We all had selected something different, pizza, pasta, chicken and steak. All ten friends were very impressed at how delicious and well presented the food was. The staff were very attentive throughout our visit ensuring we had drinks and always asking if we needed anything else. First class staff and first class food! Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back."

Absolutely incredible food, massive portion sizes! We would recommend splitting the pizzas if you are getting any as a starter, e.g garlic bread

Visited last Friday 5th April on the afternoon. First time I’ve been in even though lived around Durham all my life. We were not disappointed, lovely food, nice staff and the youngish lad who I assumed was the manager was very personable. Would definitely go back View menu

Food and service was shocking. Cold black pudding for start which wS tasteless. Pizza with no cheese and bland pasta for main with cold chicken. Staff were talking aboht us and made it really obvious, we did find this quite amusing. Absolutely disgusting. I wouldnt let my dog eat there. Amguessong this isn't the same as the one in Darlington. They are worlds apart.

Mixed feelings about this restaurant. In comparison to the majority of Italian restaurants in Durham, you won't be disappointed. The pizzas are not the best, but the pastas are above average. The hot chocolate is also a highlight. However, I wasn't a fan of the staff or the restaurant layout. For a better experience, I would recommend going to Spags or Rudy's nearby. Overall, this place is fine and better than some other options in the area. It may not be as good as chain restaurants like Domino's or Pizza Hut, but compared to other sit-down Italian places in Durham, it's definitely worth a try.

"Started off really well and went over to the counter and ordered a crepe with banana and Nutella and specifically stated no strawberries I also asked for a San Pelegríno still water as this was on the menu also. I was the first person to order and the last to eat in the end. I got brought my water over which was a cheaper brand water that I just paid £2 for what would I have liked to have seen ? We’ll when I asked for san pelligrino still water to be told that they don’t have that in. Finally my crepe comes and I take a bite and realise that it’s got strawberries in all the way through which I’m allergic too. One of my family members takes it back and says that I asked for banana not strawberry there’s a reason why I can’t eat it and didn’t want it on my crepe. Then 5 minutes later another crepe comes out that was my bitten crepe that someone had opened up and picked the strawberries out and put banana in. Disgusting absolutely … not sure if this was a mistake or just being stingy either way it’s not on. It then again gets returned because there is no way I am eating that and it gets explained once again there is a reason I can’t eat strawberries to which then one of the owners comes over to serve the correct crepe and apologise . I really hope a lesson was learnt today because cross contamination is not a joke. Please be careful when eating there. I didn’t get offered a refund but then again they were willing to serve me a bitten crepe again so it didn’t surprise me that much."
