Amazing food. I had the noodle stir fry with chicken and it was great, really like in Vietnam. The passion fruit lemonade might have been the best lemonade I’ve ever had. Lovely atmosphere and service.

I went there with no expectations and was very positively surprised. Great service, reasonable prices and the food was really good. Try the pad thai or the crispy duck with coconut milk and curry. So delicious! Will def come again.

There were 4 of us and we each ordered different items. All of them were very good: flavorful, extra sauces on the side if you wanted them hotter, vegetables perfectly cooked and big portions. I chose a tofu dish and boy was it hot!!! I had to leave the actual tofu but the rest of the dish was excellent. I have never had such spicy/hot Thai food, so it was a bit of a surprise. The Thai girl that...served us was lovely and had a little chat with us about how she came to Berlin and her experience of it. Food was served quickly and our wine was kept topped up. Restaurant was nice enough and toilets clean. Food and wine reasonably priced-I wont be back to berlin but if I were I would come back here to eat

quite a standard Thai restaurant, the type they find in many European countries, which converts their original style into one that corresponds more to the local palate. the dishes were sweetened, the hot sauce was only half hot. I ordered the tom yam suppe for beginners, and it was too sweet and not really resembled what I had in Thailand or in authentic Thai restaurants. the crispy duck floated in sweet and acidic sauce and the duck was overfired and too dry. the service was excellent, the atmosphere was calm, but eating could have been better.

We visited Van Long on a quiet Wednesday evening but we were not disappointed the the starters of Chicken Satay and Duck Wraps were brilliant and we cleared the plates. Next up a classic Pad Thai presented beautifully and Red Curry with tea lights underneath...to ensure that the food stayed warm for the whole meal! Washing it all down with a Bitburger Lager. The waitress serving us tonight was brilliant, very accommodating and spoke great English. I hope that more people discover this place to enjoy the wonderful food. Thank you Van Long we are still so full!!

Returning from the Humboldt Forum on the 147 bus, we alighted near the Van-Long, which someone on TripAdvisor had called the best Thai restaurant in Berlin. Not having tried the others, we couldn’t say. As the name suggests, the cuisine is primarily Vietnamese. We ordered...both options offered as midday specials – pad Thai and bun bon am bo. Both were fresh but strikingly under-seasoned. Even a spoonful of Vietnamese hot sauce and an extra squeeze of lime didn’t enliven the pad Thai. The beef dish had a flavor that could charitably be called subtle. However, both servings were generous and included agreeably crisp veggies.

Yeah, the food is tasty, but they have zero respect for people who seriously don't want to eat meat. than once, I clearly ordered a vegetarian tofu curry dish and then discovered a bit of meat mixed in. Today it was like half tofu,...half chicken. Last straw, I'm never going back. Anyone can make a mistake once, but this place doesn't care about separating meat and non-meat dishes. I asked what the deal was, a staffer shrugged and said maybe they'd combined two things in the chicken. Unprofessional and disrespectful beyond belief. Vegetarians and vegans, avoid this place. There are a million good Asian restaurants in Berlin that take their customers' choices and principles seriously. View menu
