"Biggest smiles and friendly welcome as soon we arrived at the cafe and asked if we could sit at an open table on the terrace to absorb the sunshine and breathe the fresh air whilst appreciating the Cotswold countryside view. A reasonably priced menu with fresh farm produce options. Three of us selected the Frittata cheese and mushroom) topped with a selection of baby leaves which was delicious, although being rich. Another tried the quiche of the day; generous portion of quiche with lots of baby potatoes and a well presented salad, all filled with flavour. The moist, pleasing sized slice of freshly baked coffee cake to finish with a variety of hot drinks was really yummy too! Gluten free cake options available too. Excellent, friendly service without being rushed at all despite the cafe closing. Clean toilets well stocked with hand soap and paper towels are always appreciated, as they seem to be a rare find. Baby change station combined with a wheelchair access toilet was noted. 25 minutes pretty drive from Stratford upon Avon into the Cotswolds on a very narrow road leads to now, one of our favourite spots: Vegetable Matters. Highly recommended for hearty healthy food and cakes for that sense of further euphoria"

Very good menu, helpful and friendly staff. We all had jacket potatoes which were really tasty and filling, the salad was very fresh.

This restaurant is a great place to visit during daytime hours for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea. They also have a great fresh farm vegetable shop and offer local walks nearby. View menu

Had a wonderful lunch today at this delightful remote farm. Inexpensive, delicious and friendly service. Huge portions and everything extremely fresh. Stunning views of farmland luckily enough to sit outside in November sunshine.

What a delightful find not far from Paxford where we were staying. Quality products used, good menu choice, with “choose your own items” for the Breakfast menu. Best cup of tea in a long time. Friendly staff, dogs welcome too. Would have liked to have lunch there but were returning home. Well stocked Farm Shop and Butchers. Even stocked our favourite Llaeth gooseberry Diolch and Da Iawn Caroline, Eddie &Joe, Llanelli, South Wales View menu

We had a really enjoyable hot lunch on a rainy Tuesday at this restaurant. When we arrived, all tables were full, but we didn't have to wait long before one opened up. Both my mum and I ordered the Cottage Pie, which was served piping hot and very delicious. The service was excellent and attentive. After our meal, we also stopped by the farm shop to pick up some vegetables and apples. We noticed that the Butcher's (Robbie Walker) is now open as well, making it a great combination with the restaurant.

We were thrilled to have found this restaurant. We wish we had discovered it sooner. When we arrived, there were no indoor tables available. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and assured us that they could accommodate us and our dog as soon as possible. The cafe and shop were spotless. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and it arrived promptly. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. This is one of the best cafes we have ever visited, if not the best. We will definitely be returning, this time for breakfast.

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
