"One of my favorite places in El Puerto de Santa María. Lots of locals interesting to watch the interaction between guests and people walking by. Everyone seems to know everyone : Friendly service (waiters who greet you even when walking by if they recognize you. Have been here basically daily to have at least a coffee and mollete. Definitely worth checking out. PS No latte art to be expected but that totally fine. Here it’s the overall feeling that counts."

Sabor de ayer.todo sigue igual que hace 40 años: sus muros, sus frescos de publicidad, su salón, sus vitrinas. En el corazón del Mercado, se respira un ambiente local muy sano.Muy recomendable

Una institución del Puerto. Local muy antiguo situado al lado del mercado de abastos. Un sitio para desayunar, tomar algo y tapear. Tiene una terraza en una calle con mucho movimiento. Se recomiendan los molletes y montaditos.

Un desayuno de escándalo! Mollete con jamón, huevos fritos con jamón cafelito y los churritos de la esquina. Estando allí llegaron los chicharrones....madre mía! Eso sí que estaba de lujo claro está que los comimos en casa, con el desayuno ya estabamos hasta arriba jejejje)

Traditional old world atmosphere. Vibrant location in the mornings beside Mercado Central. Can be busy. Worth a visit just to soak-in your surroundings and bygone-era decoration. I had a coffee with a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. Very tasty. Prices are good. Nicest place in El Puerto for a morning snack.

Tasty food, friendly service (the young waiter was helpful and friendly) and a traditional faded interior/exterior that takes one back to a time when everything was just so much better! Any old cafe that plays classic jazz music in the background knows how to do it right! Dined there on Wednesday 26 December 2023. This was my favourite place to watch the world go by in El Puerto de Santa Maria. Highly recommended!

Hemos probado carne al toro (felicidades a quien cocina, muy muy rica), bacalao (prefiririamos pagar mas y que entren dos trocitos en lugar de uno), atún al puerro (bueno) y una que no estaba en la carta, alcachofa a la plancha con huevo de codorniz y gambitas (muy buena). Los precios no son los que marca la carta, pero al final de la misma dice que estan expuestos a subidas segun coste. Mas que correcto para tapear.
