"We reserved this table months ago. Since I already knew the restaurant, I asked for a table in the small adjoining room. The reason for this was that last time the three of us were squeezed onto a small table in the niche, even though the restaurant was as good as empty when we left. Despite this request, we were assigned a table in the garden. At least I would have liked to have been asked if I would like that. The rest of the place was again empty. The ambience in the garden by no means corresponds to the level to which the restaurant claims. Thank goodness I didn't have to go to the toilet. I still have a terrible memory of this from my last visit. Even at the beginning of the spiral staircase you can smell that it is going into the cellar. Once at the bottom you made a journey through time. Everything is clean but very old with the charm of a motorway toilet from the fifties. Oh horror. We will consider very carefully whether we should visit the restaurant again"

The Villandry has a very nice, casual atmosphere, nice, attentive service and a great food. The selection of dishes is small but sufficient and the ingredients are tastefully processed. The plates are beautifully decorated and the wine card offers enough tasteful drops to choose from. A successful evening in Dresden.

Das Villandry ist in der Äußeren Neustadt gelegen. In dem quirligen Viertel ist es die beste Adresse für Genießer. Es hat einen malerischen und ruhigen Terrassenbereich im Innenhof und das ambitionierte Essen ist eine Freude für den Gaumen und Augen zugleich.
