"The place is so small and crammed, people on top of each other you can’t pass between the tables. The stuff is terrible, half of them don’t even look at you and pass you the dishes, forgot the water, the cutlery, waiting for ages to pay…you cannot split the bill ‘because it takes too long’. Food is very pretty indeed but utterly overrated. My french toast was nothing like a french toast, no cinnamon, soggy bread and almost burnt. The blue latte just tastes weird. Last but not least, ‘the loo’ is just awful. It was dirty and smelly and so run down, it doesn’t suit the posh decor at the top. It’s also situated next to kitchen with an open door, a fan blowing directly in and lots of terrible smells of fried stuff. The little corridor is full of carton boxes and what have you, on top of that the afternoon tea stands are on a table next to all that ****. Is just so disappointing and distasteful. I’m never going back."

This is probably the best afternoon tea I've had for the savoury section, the sweet treats are very tasty too. Staff are lovely and friend (we had a blonde hair waitress)

This amazing little restaurant is a gem in hiding. The food was fabulous and the staff so very kind and accommodating. Our 2nd visit on our 2nd trip to London. Well worth the visit. View menu

The food was good, but the place was not as airy and open as expected, in fact, it was very cramped. The service wasn’t very satisfactory as well, our booking was at 3 and turns out we got our table at 3:30. Also, water and food comes slow.

So many instagrammable restaurants and cafes dont delivery on food quality- it generally ends up looking pretty but tasting awful. Violas is the exception! Delicious, instagrammable food- and plenty of it, a fabulous menu bursting with fresh ingredients everything is healthy and hearty yet utterly delicious and decadent) and beautiful decor- it ticks every box! The food is just so good and lovely, friendly staff, the owner is so lovely and sweet! Definitely would recommend!
