"We paid a couple of visits to Vivet over a long weekend visit to Hamburg the setting in the middle of a shopping street contrasted quite a bit as we visited on a Sunday (almost no shops open) and a Monday. On both occasions...we were served promptly by pleasant staff both order takers and waiters the drinks and snacks were simple but enjoyable and well presented and on neither occasion did we feel rushed' to accommodate other customers. Good at what it should be good at with attentive friendly staff and fare of a good quality, reasonably priced. Worth a visit."

This restaurant owned by an Israeli has a strong mediterranean if not Italian touch. The food is freshly prepared and tasty. The service was superb. .So was the coffee.

a few times for a quick bite stopped on a recent trip to hamburg. the service was good, eating was good and came quite fast and was hot. decent place for lunch/dinner after a shopping venue.

we waited very long before we received our food protocols. the food itself was at most mediocre, but the prices were relatiw high. euro for a mediocre wine carving. but we can only blame ourselves. it is almost always a bad...idea to choose a restaurant directly on a busy shopping street.

We found this restaurant conveniently located on the main shopping street and still able to seat us during the busy dinner time. We were given a friendly greeting and served promptly. Menus are available in English as well as German. There was a wide selection...of choices but we opted for more sandwich style entrees, which were quite tasty. Restrooms were downstairs and well-maintained. Overall, a nice experience.

I just came for a cappucino and waited for the shops to be opened in the morning. only two tables were occupied next to mine, but the waiter was totally concentrated on the men sitting on one of them. they seemed to have a very interesting and loud conversation about something. so interesting, in the fact that he seemed to forget about the other customers. pity, because the coffee was really good, and if I got the opportunity, I might even have ordered a drink.

After a tiring trip traveling to Hamburg, we stepped out of our hotel and started down the shopping street. We came upon the outside seating for Vivet, and decided to catch a bit to eat before retiring. We were pleasantly surprised with our meals. I...had a pasta dish with salmon in a very light citrus sauce. It was delicious! My daughter had a tortellini dish which she also loved. In fact we were so pleased with our meals that we returned to Vivet and ordered the same thing for our last meal before leaving the city. I would definitely eat here again.
