The food was great overall and it certainly seemed to be authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a great atmosphere. Pricewise this restaurant seemed to be a little on the expensive side compared to the other Regensburg Vietnamese kitchens which have quite similar dishes. View menu

In my opinion VyVu offers an authentic Asian cuisine, nice curry sauces, a variety of fresh herbs on your plate. We had three main dishes and all of them well taken care of. The restaurant is all the time busy so make a reservation before....Would definitely recommend it.

I had lunch with my colleagues in VyVu today. I found hair in my food and I reported to the waiter. No one apologized. They just ignored it. I would not risk finding another hair in my food and do not recommend this restaurant to...anyone based on their quality and attitude towards customers.

Hatten zu viert um 20:00 reserviert, wollten nach dem Essen Abend mit Getränken und Gesprächen ausklingen lassen. Um 21:55 Uhr Desserts verzehrt. Um Punkt 22Uhr mit allen Gästen hinauskomplementiert. Auf der Durchreise auf Maps entdeckt, mit doch ansprechender Karte und guter Bewertung . Ohne Reservierung sind wir freundlich empfangen worden und konnten draußen noch einen Tisch ergattern . Wir wurden herzlich Bedient .Die Getränke waren sehr erfrischend und das Radler genau mein Geschmack. Die ausgewählten Speisen wurden erklärt und nach dem Servieren genau beschrieben wie man den Geschmack optimal für den Gaumen herrichtet. Ein Geschmackserlebnis auch ohne Schärfe. Der Gastronom hat uns auch noch ein wenig aus seinem Werdegang erzählt ,was uns sehr beeindruckt hat . Alles im allem . ten Points

Really busy and loud, however we did go on a Friday evening. Very nice decor with a lot of attention to detail. For us the location was walkable from our hotel, however it is further away from the city centre. Waiter gave an English menu,...and was very helpful. For drinks we had Miss saigon and smileys cocktails. For dinner we had duck with vegetables and cashews in sauce, and Tofu with vegetables in sauce. Although it stated it was vegetarian, the sauce did contain fish. However when I asked I was able to have it without. For dessert we had black sesame and vanilla icecream covered in coconut and coconut balls in sauce. Would definitely recommend these.

Located away from the center in an area which is not really attractive (across a meat and sausage factory as well as an erotic club that restaurant is nevertheless worth the trip. First, the decoration is very beautiful with much attention paid to every...and each detail. Just visit the toilets and you'll get what I mean! Then, enjoying the terrasse on a gorgious sommer evening is a pleasant experience despite the moskitos attacks. The food is fresh and very good to good. Not excellent. We highly recommend the Bo Pho soup and the fresh mango in coconut cream. The service is agreable and attentive albeit precisions on how to mix the ingredients would have been helpful.
