"the western factory is the restaurant and breakfast place in the sheraton westpark. ideal to reach with public transport (web, u bahn, bus) as it is located directly at the homeeranplatz. with parking it is difficult in this corner, but in a doubt you can also drive for 2,50 €/hour to the parking garage of the hotel. through the large windows you can already see the beautiful and modern environment that is confirmed at the input. wood and bright leather dominate, three different types of chairs and additionally eckbänke loosen the whole again positiw. I also noticed that the tables are not so tight and very nice I also found the lighting. in the cold season they should perhaps reserve a table further away from the entrance. although there is a windfall, many of the guests are very negligent and the service is not always next to the door. the service: simple and yet professional. also friendly, attentive and fast. hardly a drink was ordered, it was served immediately and that, although almost everyone was occupied. the use of the table was immediately removed and the tables were immediately cleaned. we have explained the Sharing system: the ordered meat or fish dishes come into the middle of the table, as well as the supplements. who does not like to share meat/fish, of course it does not have to, but can work alone. the supplements must be shared in any case. but also here you don't have to be afraid that you're too short because you get them if you don't get enough. In addition, the meat and fish dishes are included in the price. the selection changes here daily. salat is available every day, otherwise once sweet and once potatoes/noodles etc. in contrast to other steakhouses they do not have to pay the soße or crumb butter extra. I would also like to mention that regional and seasonal products are used first line. but of course something else comes in the sense. shortly after we had ordered the dishes, we got broth and 2 spreads (Radasrl/Frischkäse and obatzda,) all made and very tasty. the broth in a juicy and fluffy and outside a crispy crumb. our choice fell to 2 appetizers. the waiting time was perfect. tartar and marinated salmon trout each 10 €. presentation, price, performance, taste was great. at the main course we have chosen for 2 persons from the ripening cabinet dry ripened ribeye steak, here they pay 11 € per 100 g. depending on the size of the whole piece of meat and the width of the disc that can be cut off, it goes approx. 500 g. However, they should not choose the disc too thin in any case, but they do not want to eat a carving. after a reasonable time, we were served a stubborn steak. such a thing is grilled by good and perfect on the point. it was so great that you would have cut off the bone to leave nothing. but also the supplements were all super and for 2 people really a large amount (even if it looks different on the photos). they are served in nostalgic dishes, which is of course a hingucker. but also tastefully everything perfect. crisp salad with crumb and kernel, crumble and a megaleckery apricosen dressing. vegetables (brokkoli, bors, mouth) cooked in broth exactly at the point. also very good potato with acidic cream. another highlight was the bratsauce! a good steak doesn't need a soak, but this soße would have been a scandal, so I enjoyed it to the supplements. drinks prices are slightly increased, but still ok. but table water is filled for 3,50 €, which must be mentioned in any case. Conclusion: environment, cleanliness, service, quality, kitchen and taste everything perfect and thus 5 stars, which is actually too little."

We stayed at the Sheraton Munchen Westpark Hotel and this was their restaurant. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food was very enjoyable too. I would recommend eating there. View menu

Really enjoyed our meal here. We found the food excellent and the service was great. We were a group of 11 and had a set menu. The food was plentiful, LOTS to drink and it cost around 80€ each. We can recommend and will come back ourselves!

Need to focus more on food quality, the pork was 30 minutes of disappointment. The only saving grace was the pumpkin soup and bread with fresh cheese spread. Accompanying vegetables and salad were not noteworthy. Service was good and attentive, do them a favor and improve the quality of the food.

Very nice restaurant in the Munich Sheraton Westpark. Service is friendly, food is good with interesting choices. The veal chop was excellent and tender and huge! Served with potatoes, a salad, and what looked like a type of coscous with mushroom --- delicious! Of course with a nice Bavarian beer, makes everything tasty. Prices are reasonable as well. Mornings they serve a continental breakfast that's bursting with variety, catering to any traveler. A nice place for a substantial meal as it is away from the city center and not many other choices nearby. View menu

Westend-Factory seems to be the place to be in Munich at the moment. Everyone talks about, every cityguide writes about it, a lot facebook and instagram posts. So we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is very big with lots of seats. In my opinion, it feels not really cozy and welcoming, a bit of a cold atmosphere. You receive a whole loaf of bread on a platter so everyone slices his own piece. We had steak (of course) and that is served with a lot of side dishes. So everything comes in a pot or on a plate and you pick up whatever you like. The food was ok, but to be honest: I had expected a bit more because of all the good recommendations. It was way too much food, what a waste. Please...

Tried to have breakfast here which was included in our room rate BUT the place was mobbed. The line was about 15-20 deep out into the lobby area--everyone was waiting for a table to be freed up. When a table came free it was like a scramble as the hostess was busy helping the wait staff handle the packed crowd. The buffet had numerous empty or almost depleted stations and the area was a mess. We were finally seated in the bar area all the way on the other side of the lobby and although the hostess brought us coffee we had to go get the sugar, milk, hot water for tea and honey. We then had to go get our breakfast items and tote them back to the bar area. We were not the only guests eating out...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
