This pub is fantastic. The food is simple but excellent quality, made with locally sourced ingredients. The average price per person is between £10 and £20. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 rating. I highly recommend trying their chips, steak, and lasagne dishes.

Food amazing. Sat outside due to dogs but the sun was shining in October but atmosphere seemed good inside when ordering. Service was impeccable. My father-in-law and I had a lovely lunch together at this restaurant. Booking a table was a breeze, and we were impressed by the selection of delicious specials on the menu, as well as the variety of beers and wines available. We were seated at a great table with a beautiful view of the river, and we had a wonderful time. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere of the restaurant a perfect 5 out of 5.

We booked last minute for Sunday lunch after a walk in the forest. The portions were huuuge, very delicious and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and relaxed making us in our muddy clothes and young children feel welcome even though everyone else in the pub looked very smart. We loved the views of the Severn and despite the rainy weather we used the riverside playground after lunch. The kids roast was very good, the hake was great and the veggie roast yummy too. Thank you, it was such a treat!

I visited this charming old-fashioned pub on a Friday afternoon with my mom and niece. It offers lovely views of the River Severn and has plenty of parking. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow. The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes. I would suggest trying the steak and ale pie, scampi, and chicken stack. Additionally, I highly recommend the white chocolate and Baileys cheesecake. The prices are average for a pub, making it great value for the money. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
