Booked a table at 12.00 for 18.30 the same night, sept. the 2nd. When we came in at 18.25, after our ride from Ipswich 45 min and asked for our table, they looked at us as if we told a joke, no table, no sorry at all and they turned around and serving people at the bar, as if we were nobody. Lovely pub set in a quaint little village, I had the scampi and chips and hubby had ham egg and chips, the portion sizes are very generous and cooked well. We both have food intolerance and the staff/owners went above and beyond to accommodate us, they were double checking everything for us and made some delightful suggestions for dessert which was a real treat. Being a small pub it can get noisey, but it's a very small observation. Would definitely recommend

This is, without a doubt, my favorite establishment of all time. The food is not only amazing but also very affordable, and you hardly ever have to wait for service. The owners, Matt and Amy, are almost always on-site and are incredibly welcoming. They even give local kids the opportunity to work during their holidays, treating them like genuine employees. The bar area is delightful and cozy, making it a perfect place to unwind. Every Sunday during the summer, they host an event called "Frog Box," which is essentially a raffle, with all the proceeds going towards the next one.
