"I have dined at Wildwood several times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. The steak, at £20, was tough and full of gristle. I was surprised by the poor quality of the meat. My friend's risotto was dry and salty, and the pizzas had burnt crusts. One of my friends even had their meal forgotten and had to watch us eat before receiving their order. The service was slow, with drinks taking a long time to arrive. The tiger prawns starter was underwhelming, with only four small prawns in a pool of pink butter. For the price, I expected more. Sadly, I will not be returning to Wildwood, and neither will some of my friends."

I really recommend the pasta with chicken and mushroom sauce, was so tasty. I liked the atmosphere and nice seating area. they offer a variety of good wines, loved the rose. Starters are also nice and fresh seafood. Only pizza can be improved. View menu

Very rude and unprofessional staff for no reason (we only wanted to order dessert for children, but the staff member was extremely rude and then didn’t even let us order) Very long waiting times, with restaurant being empty. Go somewhere else.

The food and wait staff were absolutely amazing!!! The food was so delicious!! The only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is, we wanted a nice hot cup of coffee with our desert and the coffee machine was broken. I feel that, that nice Cup of Joe would have been icing on the cake!

The staff at Wildwood are friendly, however, the food is cooked and presented very poorly. The pizzas are basic and overly greasy, with the toppings haphazardly thrown on top of each other. Additionally, when asking for an egg to be removed from a dish, it was simply scraped off the plate, leaving fragments of egg throughout the rest of the meal. It is unfortunate as the restaurant has great potential. View menu

beautiful decoration. 4 of us shared the Sharing plate for 2 and there was more than enough there. a bit different from the usual plates that were beautiful. the fresh mint limonade was as refreshing as a non-alcoholic mojito. I had the sea bass for all and it was delicious! so much again, about perfectly prepared vegetables. also came with gratinized potato on the side, but I didn't touch it, as the fish veggies were much and so light aromen. we look forward to the next time we are in the opposite.

My recent visit to Wildwood in Ely after a four-year hiatus due to Covid was disappointing. I had hoped for improvement, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The risotto I ordered was the worst I have ever had - dry and lacking flavor, with a noticeable absence of cheese. One of my friends' pizzas was forgotten, although it was eventually comped. Despite being the only remaining table in the restaurant, it took a long time to settle the bill. To top it off, the affogato my friend ordered for dessert had lukewarm coffee. I have decided to not return to this restaurant and will not be giving it another chance.

"My friend kindly decided to take me another friend along to this her local pub for Xmas lunch on the 12th of December which we were all looking forward too, as we have eaten there before. Unfortunately on entering the pub it seemed quite cold as there was no open fire lite when we asked they told us they had run out of kindling, so we kept out coats on for sometime until we all warmed up. Then when we kindly asked for the menu unfortunately they had none of these as apparently they had ran out of ink for there printer so we then had to look at there written board on the wall, which had fish chips added to it. We were then told by the waitress they had no chips lol but you can have potatoes, unbelievable for a pub to run out of chips. When our meals arrived it was quite disappointing for a Christmas dinner the Yorkshire pud was completely flat, but you did get vegetables served separately which were quite a good variety even though there wasn’t lots. We then went onto order our deserts Once again to add disappointment they didn’t have any crème brûlée so the choice was just Xmas pud with brandy butter or ice cream. So one of my friends could only have ice cream as she’s gluten free who always fancies that on a cold day, me my other friend had the Xmas pud that was served in a pie dish which was not very appealing or professional looking it was served with custard not the brandy butter like the menu said. We did complain as my friends Xmas pud was also lukewarm they did kindly apologise warm it up. Because we complained they did take some of our bill. But I don’t think we will be visiting again anytime soon."
