"Wiveton Hall has a fantastic location with views over the salt marshes and on to the sea. An ideal place to stop for breakfast or a refreshing daytime drink as I’ve done over the years and have been a return visitor many many times. But sadly no more! In the past the food and service has been some of the best around but my experience this time left me feeling disappointed, no longer the friendly table service we used to have, but we now have those annoying table buzzers to alert you when your food is ready, which are more suitable to a noisy nightclub then an idyllic country setting. But the breakfast I received this morning was worse than I ever had from a roadside café, fried egg, which quite honestly should’ve gone straight in the bin as it was more like a frisbee than a fried egg, sausage which tasted very economy and bacon which I’m sure was locally sourced, but was poor. Sour dough toast, which you could break your teeth on, cans of drink which were expensive rather than the home made original drinks we all preferred. Missed opportunity to continue to be one of the jewels in the crown of North Norfolk."

Dropped in here whilst out and about exploring, had a fabulous welcome in a very quaint setting. Breakfast and drinks were excellent, as was the service.

Dog friendly, welcoming and lovely staff, great tasting and good value food. Shed style eating cabins for shelter from the sun and wind. Watched a marsh harrier hunt. View menu

My friends and I were cycling in the area and called in for a snack. The staff were super friendly, the cafe was spotless, the toilets were clean and numerous! We had bacon and sausage sandwiches plus hot drinks. We did not have to wait long and they were gorgeous.

Desmond never disappoints with his 5-star service. I recently enjoyed a pre-birthday celebration with my fantastic friend at his restaurant. Desmond treated us to one of his always-entertaining "garden" talks. We had a delicious lunch and tea with a beautiful view of the marshes. This is England at its finest.

This cafe is located in the ground of wiveton hall estate and serves a good range of meals and snacks. On certain Fridays and Saturday evenings the have an Italian night when the serve a four course meal with a number of choices for the main and sweet courses. The food is not fine dining but of good quality. Before and during the meal there is music from a guitarist. Overall a very good evening for a reasonable price.

Our family of 6 went for breakfast this morning, with each of us ordering something different. The staff handled our orders admirably, and the food was cooked very well. However, there were some hiccups with the children's meals. The girls requested egg on toast and another order of egg on toast with sausage and beans, but each girl received too much food for a child, with two eggs each. Additionally, the beans were homemade and not to everyone's taste. Despite these setbacks, we still enjoyed our meal and would consider revisiting this place when in Norfolk.
