"I thought yo sushi had gone bust in our area but it seems to have regrouped itself, we travelled to our nearest 'yo ' in Brighton. Things have changed, no water at the tables anymore, along with service button, making it very difficult to call staff when needed and especially if you 're not au fait with 'scanning ' items off the menu. As with other reviews,I am finding it hard to write anything positive. Restaurant felt grimy, service slow and food average at best. The same, no more than 15 (we counted) mainly plant and sushi rolls, went past us on the track in the 90 mins we were there, which I thought was there to attract you into ordering more ? The two types of sashimi were good but cooked stuff, just ok. I ordered salmon fire cracker rice, which turned up as bland boiled rice with a few peppers and salmon in. I queried it and the reply was oh did you want it hot, i can give you some chilli powder? isn 't there a clue in the name... Waitress informed of our woes, only to be ignored as she 's probably heard them a thousand times. If this is a revamp, it shouldn 't have bothered and stayed bust....."

Usual Yo! Decent food, a bit on the slow side. The waiting staff were hard to locate, no checking, they seemed to be spending more time talking amongst themselves at the back corner

Tasteless, staled and not very appetising food. The restaurant looked unclean and tired. Having said that, the Manager was kind enough to remove from my bill the food that I was not able to eat.

This is a fantastic restaurant with a great range of food on offer. The restaurant is cool during summer and a great place to have a break and refresh. The conveyor belt system is used effectively and is a fun element to the meal. Highly recommend!

What a disappointment! All the fun is gone. Seedy restaurant, slightly dirty, staff completely disengaged. Online ordering far too difficult to he a pleasure. The main event, the conveyer belt, which should have held 50 dishes (I counted them off the menu) rotated the same 9 dishes in the hour and a half I was there. I shan't bother again. View menu

Ordered some fresh cooked meals as everything on track looked very tired. Could not believe chef kept putting ungloved hands into different containers to get noodles, coleslaw and other ingredients out and so much cross contamination happening. Yuk. We should have refused to pay and left immediately. Very poor level of hygiene throughout and Staff def need basic training

The food is OK: the rice not too cold, fish relatively fresh (the wasabi is out of a tube, but that's normal for fake sushi). However, the whole experience is let down by appalling service. Honestly, the room was quiet and we still waited an age to be greeted and the school-leaver-age servers didn't have a clue. Moreover, they clearly didn't really care. Don't bother. Save up and go to London.

Popped in for a “quick” lunch with my son. Ordered him a kids katsu bento while I picked a couple of bits off the belt. Poor little guy was absolutely starving having ended up waiting 45 mins for what turned out to be a few measly chicken strips on top of a pile of wet, spicy stir fried rice (in a kids box?! , some shredded iceberg and a handful of cucumber rolls. It looked absolutely nothing like what we ordered, which had white rice and some veggies. He ate what he could, and we paid through the nose for the privilege. Never again. View menu

Arrived in the branch to see multiple empty table that they couldn’t be bothered to clean so had to wait around 5-10 minutes to be seated. It wasn’t a particularly busy day. Had to use the QR code to order as the waitress preferred us to use that. The wifi was almost impossible to sign up for, why make it so complicated just use google sign in? When ordering food it was smooth, however when the staff handed us our food we weren’t told what it was, it was just pushed towards us and there you go. At the end of our experience, we wanted to split the bill to what each person ordered however the waitress couldn’t be bothered to figure it out so made us do it. Additionally a £7 service fee was add...

We thought they were short staffed as no tables were cleared even though there weren't many people in there. The waitress cleared a table for us and we explained we only had an hour max. She seemed to be the only one on duty and 2x chefs. Had to ask several times for drinks and menus. Only 6 dishes on the conveyor. One chef was doing takeaways, the other filling the front fridge, but neither of them putting extra dishes on the conveyor. Ordered hot food quickly due to time, but waited for over 3/4 hour. Another female chef turned up in the kitchen and gave us 1 of our dishes and when my husband said we had ordered several more, she snapped at us and said they would be coming. When they did c...
