"We chose this café as a convenient half way meet up for a family birthday breakfast and didn't have any expectations as hadn't read any reviews but what a find!! The restaurant itself had a very friendly and welcoming feel, the staff were amazing and attentive and as for the food wow amazing delicious. All of our meals were spot on, probably the best omelette I have ever eaten. Everything was so fresh and tasty from the lovely bread to the amazing sausages to the vegan options. Also lovely little touch to get a chocolate Santa with our tea. Thank you for looking after us and making our day husband birthday special we will be back and are planning to make this a family tradition to meet at the Little Bean Café"

"Firstly it is always good to get an itemised bill. We ordered two teapots, two light lunches (veg tart and salad, coronation chicken with jacket , and two cakes. The bill came to 25.35 which was probably right but it is nice to check. This figure was written on a piece of paper and we were sent to the other till to pay it. When the tea arrived we noticed a brown rim on the inside of one of the cups. Perhaps it had ended up in the wrong pile in the kitchen but it had not been washed properly so had to get this changed . Not a good sign in these days of Covid. I then noticed that both the little pots of tea were only just over half full why? We did not complain about this too as did not want to spoil the experience. Our food came and quite modest potions. The jacket potato was a bit yellow on the inside as if it had been baked to an inch of it's life, the coronation chicken was good and my wife's veg tart was quite tasty. I was still hungry at the end so I ordered a veg tart too . 5.95 . I also brought the tea pots back for a top up of water (and was asked if we wanted tea? and then noticed that they had given us about a third of a pot of water. After spending 31 you would have thought that would have been okay but water must be mighty expensive in Pulborough. My feeling was that overall it was okay but a bit mean spirited. It is not the sort of place that you would go out of your way to drive to, but if you are thirsty and peckish in Pulborough it is in a good location."

"We went with friends for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and looked well laid out. We could choose which table we wanted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and were attentive but not overbearing. The food was cooked to order. We had prawns, scallops and squid which were all cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. I had an alcohol free gin and tonic which was served ice cold in a large glass and was delicious. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the drinks were very expensive."

"I was there for Christmas lunch and dinner 2015. Despite being extremely busy, everyone acted extremely professionally nonetheless. I am myself an experienced chef, a professional waiter and an international certified cocktail bartender. I also ran my own business for a while. I can ensure everyone reading this that it has been a long time since I have seen a restaurant managed with so much efficiency and professionalism. It made me feel like there still was some hope in an industry losing its focus and standards... Thank you so much Alessandra for serving me with your beautiful smile and the attention of every moment. Thank you to the owner for presenting me all the dishes with impeccable etiquette and relevant informations. Thanks to the kitchen team who prepared and cooked everything to near perfection. Brilliant job everyone!"

"We turned up without a booking on a Sunday evening at about 6pm and were promptly seated. It was a little chilly sitting in the conservatory area with the doors open so we had them closed. It would be great in the sun. We ordered beef with bean shoots and mushrooms, crispy roast duck Cantonese style, lamb with ginger and spring onions, seasonal vegetables and shredded duck fried rice. The portions were more generous than expected so we could have ordered less, but the food was good. Service was a little sticky probably due to our lack of speaking Mandarin but it was OK."

"We had dinner with friends. They said this place one of their favourite as they kept coming back here. We agree with them. The portion of the food are roughly are big especially my pork cutlet is big, kind like double portion for me I love my apple tart. It was delicious. Generally food was good and the staff are soo friendly and helpfull. We feel warm as they setup few point of heater. We will come back again."

"There is no doubt that this is a fantastic pub. It's welcoming, full of charm and the staff are friendly and attentive. This was my second visit and although it's not the nearest pub to me, it's well worth the trip. I have to say that finding a pub that serves the PERFECT SUNDAY ROAST has taken me years to find. The food here was spot on, including crispy roast potatoes and crackling, a fantastically cheesy cauliflower cheese, perfectly cooked vegetables and beautifully tender cuts of roast beef, pork and lamb. The portion sizes are generous and one cauliflower cheese is ample for two people and this also applies to the side order of Cumberland sausages. I can't wait to return and have no hesitation in recommending wholeheartedly this wonderful pub/restaurant "

"We visited for the first time today and had the full breakfast which included tea/coffee. The two ladies working were really lovely and the food was locally sourced . The sausage was excellent and piping hot (bonus as its a pet peeve to get warm food). You can buy local products including jams chutneys and cheeses. Very quant and they also do three evenings openings with a 2 or 3 course french menu. Breakfast was £9.95 and I took a piece of cherry malibu cake home."

"We stumbled upon this cafe by accident, and we were happy that we did. There was plenty of parking and seating available both inside and outside, even though it was quite busy. We decided to try the cheese on toast platter, which featured locally made cheese, along with a pot of local tea, and both were delicious. They also offered a variety of other options, including coffee, cakes, light snacks, and dairy products, for dining in or taking away."

"My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a birthday getaway and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The service was impeccable, with the staff being extremely polite, accommodating, and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and tranquil. We dined in the restaurant for my birthday meal, and the food and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We decided to have the cooked breakfast, which was an extra cost as the continental breakfast was included in the price, and once again the food was cooked perfectly. This hotel is a great choice for a high-quality getaway, and we will definitely be returning in the future to dine in the restaurant for a lovely evening meal. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. The food and drinks offered a fantastic variety and were cooked to perfection."

"We went first to the boars head when they had one of their live music acts and it was one of the most magical nights ever. We moved to a house close to the boars head and quickly it became our 2nd home. Not that the food was always delicious and the best to get in horsham and surrounding, but the most important was the staff. Every single member of the boars head is simply amazing. They’re all super kid friendly, our kids could do whatever kids do and no one ever was mad with them. The cocktails are outrageous and Emre kept surprising me with one of his drinks. We did a farewell party there and everything was perfect! Umut and his chefs made the best food and the whole evening was magical! Malcolm, Lisandra, Felix, Emre, Jae, Emily, Angelito, Eddie and all of the other amazing people at the boars head: thank you for always making us feeling like family! You guys always made our stays a happening! To the chef Umut: keep on with your outstanding work, you are excellent! Lots of Love, Isabell, Artem, Freddie and Lilly!"

"We received a warm welcome at this charming restaurant. The decor is pleasant with comfortable seating. The staff are friendly and attentive. We tried their sharing starter which was excellent with good flavors and generous portions. My Green Curry was delightful, as was my partner's Thai stir fry. We highly recommend this fantastic restaurant."

"My daughter chose Pizza Express for a meal to celebrate her good results from her college exams. I was a bit dubious as my last experience here was very poor, with dreadful service and the food being served cold. That was however a few years ago and things has improved greatly. Rebecca made us feel very welcome and provided service with a smile. The food was good and delivered in a reasonable time when they were quite busy. A much better experience than previously!"

"Lovely atmosphere and great waitress service. Really good food but sadly not everything on the menu was available at lunch time reason given was it is all cooked fresh so takes time needs sorting as two of our dishes were not available and it was a birthday dinner and it was his two dishes. Also I cant eat tomatoes and was charged extra for substituting sliced avocado which I think is wrong. However overall had a great time"

"Nice restaurant with friendly staff who were happy to veganise the vegetarian burger for me. Aware that the brioche bun needed changing so offered a wholemeal gluten free bun instead. Served with a avocado/cucumber/lettuce side salad. There are a few vegan options, an ancient grain bowl and a butternut squash stew. The focaccia with olive and hummus starter was delicious."

"Came for Father’s Day. Average food at best. We wern’t made aware of items not on menu until we came to order and had to rethink on the spot. Unhappy sister and mother. When we came to pay we had some vouchers to use which we were told we couldn’t because they weren’t accepting them on Father’s Day. Were we made aware before the meal? NOPE. Good job we had money because other people may not have. Disgraceful really considering our vouchers we redeemed for today might run out before we get back there. Money grabbers. No tip from us. Not going again"

"Specifically visited this Wagamama when they introduced the new vegan/vegetarian menu, and while the food was great, especially the new Kare Burosu the service was really poor. It was very busy and when we arrived and the queue to get in was a jumble of people with and without reservations with no organisation. We then ordered pretty quickly, and the food took forever to arrive. The meals came out at such different times that one person was finished by the time the last meal came, and the sides came a long time after the mains, and were cold when they arrived. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she was very apologetic, but the manager interrupted and basically shouted at us that they were sides and they'd come when they were ready. They did at least take the latest of the meals off the bill. Would definitely not go to Wagamama again, but not this location. Updated from previous review on 2017-11-13"

"I recently ate at the Horsham branch with my teenage son. We had a starter each. We had a main course. A older blonde lady took our order. Our starters came after quite a wait. When she took our plates the waitress said “you must have been starving you ate them so quickly” we had eaten them at a normal speed! Two small starters do not take too long to eat! After waiting for 20minutes I called over another waiter, he assumed I was asking for the bill, as we had been there so long. I said that, no, we were still waiting for our mains. The restaurant was not busy. He sent over the original waitress who took our order and she stated that because we were so starving and ate our starters so fast, our mains are on a timer and we’d have to wait! We waited 40 minutes from our starter until our main course. There was no apology for the wait. She just said that it was our fault for eating our starter so fast! I found this very odd and have never been given this explanation before. We will not be returning as I found her very rude."
"Not been to this Pub for a long time and yet I only live 2 minutes down the road. Met up with a friend of mine and was impressed on the inside of the Pub. After the drinks arrived we were then left alone for a while choosing our Food which was lovely as hate being rushed. The Food was very good and we both had Starters,my Starter was a welcome change that for once the Whitebait didn't come in Bread Crumbs or Batter. The Main Courses we had were simply fantastic and the Desert I had was very nice, but the only complaint I would have is that there wasn't enough Custard to go with the Fruit Crumble ! Looking forward to having another Meal in this Pub in due course."
