"We chose this café as a convenient half way meet up for a family birthday breakfast and didn't have any expectations as hadn't read any reviews but what a find!! The restaurant itself had a very friendly and welcoming feel, the staff were amazing and attentive and as for the food wow amazing delicious. All of our meals were spot on, probably the best omelette I have ever eaten. Everything was so fresh and tasty from the lovely bread to the amazing sausages to the vegan options. Also lovely little touch to get a chocolate Santa with our tea. Thank you for looking after us and making our day husband birthday special we will be back and are planning to make this a family tradition to meet at the Little Bean Café"

Stopped here for a morning snack and coffee. The staff are friendly and know what they have and what they are talking about in terms of what they have to offer. A relax friendly and warm atmosphere; stop, enjoy, relax and leave refreshed.

What a lovely little cafe! We came in for a bit of lunch and some coffee and cake on a Tuesday afternoon while staying locally on holiday. The staff clearly care deeply about the cafe and take pride in their work. We were welcomed with...

The service leaves a lot to be desired. Complete lack of staff. Service terrible. When order arrived food was wrong, overcooked and cold. By the time it arrived, about 20 minutes for a simple sandwich, I got a bagette, I had drunk my tea with...

We were day-tripping from the New Forest to St Botolph’s church in Hardham and Parham House and needed somewhere for lunch between the two. The Little Bean Cafe looked a promising place to try. And so it turned out to be everything we could have...

We had a fantastic lunch for very little money on a very hot day. Immediately, the server brought us cold water, stating that she thought we'd need it, considering the heat. It was much appreciated, and the little reusable glass bottles were a cute touch....

In need of a snack lunch while in transit my wife and I were very pleased with everything about the Little Bean. The choice of sandwiches and specials was good and our order was fresh, generous and well presented. Nothing fancy .. just wholesome and tasty. Service was friendly. We went away clutching several portions of their home baked cakes for later in the day. View menu

Food and service at this cafe is good when the owner is in residence. When she is absent the food and service go downhill. With no direction food at best is edible, service and clearing of tables is chaotic and reserved tables left empty as others are turned away. Owner can’t be in two places at once but with young adults left to their own devices (nice as they are) and an average cook in the kitchen this cafe for me is a no no

I came here a few weeks ago for breakfast. The menu was quite limited. From what I remember for a full English it was quite pricey. I saw ‘spinach and mushroom’ on the menu but it didn’t say what so I assumed it was some kind of roll or sandwich. The waiter wasn’t sure what it was either?? But we ended up coming to the conclusion it should be a baguette, so that’s what I ordered. It arrived with a measly few bits of spinach inside and couple small mushrooms. It was very underwhelming. I also didn’t love how our table was literally 2 inches away from the lady next to us, I felt like we had no privacy.

"Service: 11/10 Starter: Calamari Duck Parfait - 10/10 Main Course 1: 50-Day Aged Fillet Mignon with Bordelaise Sauce (cooked *Blue*) - 100/10 Main Course 2: Fish and Chips - 9/10 Dessert: Hot Brownie - Over 9000! I want to extend my thanks to the front-of-house team for their warm welcome. Although we arrived a bit late, they were incredibly accommodating. Special thanks to Irvana (I hope I spelled that correctly) for providing excellent service! My steak experience took me on a nostalgic journey—like Anton Ego savoring his ratatouille in Gusto’s restaurant. It reminded me of a family meal in Holland during my childhood, where I had my first real steak. This may have even surpassed that memory! I was initially hesitant about dining at Miller and Carter since it's a chain restaurant, but if you're feeling the same way, let me assure you: don't be. While it may not be the cheapest option, it definitely deserves a smart-casual dress code that anyone who understands proper dining etiquette should respect. Curious, I browsed through other reviews, and I found it hard to believe anyone could leave a 1-star review without sounding like a “Karen.” It’s important to take reviews with a grain of salt—this is truly a fantastic restaurant! In summary, if you're a fan of steak, this place will take great care of you and provide excellent recommendations for how to enjoy your meal just the way you like it. Perfect!"
