"We were very keen to support our local Little Bean cafe when they launched their American themed evening, offering 'mini burgers and ribs platters '. The offer was accompanied by a photograph of a mixed platter of ribs and burgers, which unfortunately bore no resemblance to what was served. The platters weren 't actually a combination of mini burgers and ribs as portrayed, although they were indeed 'mini '! The burger platter consisted of a lukewarm, toddler sized burger in a cold bun, with some grated cheese on the side if required, while the ribs platter consisted of 4 tiny, lukewarm half ribs. Each dish was accompanied by some limp, undercooked fries and a tiny portion of salad. The pudding was tasty, but again the portions were miniscule literally a mouthful each of cheesecake and brownie with a strawberry cut in half. Even taking into account the one free drink per person, £20 per head was overpriced for what was, in reality, a child 's meal. Unfortunately we 've decided not to support the future 'Asian fusion ' evening as we 'd planned."

Absolutely delicious and delightful. Friendly staff, fresh cakes and beautiful coffee. The p..sty down the road should spend a day here and learn a thing or two.

Had a gluten free bacon sandwich which was tasty but the bacon was salty. Coffee was good but service was slow. Small cafe but nice old building which makes the atmosphere pleasant.

Wonderfully friendly little cafe. We've been there several times for breakfast a night whilst I enjoyed their full English my partner tried more imaginative, and equally tasty, dishes.

Last minute decision to eat here for lunch. Lovely food served quickly and with a smile. There was a good choice of healthy and filling food. Despite being on the main road it was not a noisy environment.

My ice coffee was delicious, and the hot chocolate was tasty. Toastie was a huge portion, as was the smoked salmon sandwhich, crammed full of filling. Staff were friendly and smily, and delicious cakes also.

How all Tea Rooms should be! Beautiful coffee at correct temperature( hate going back and asking them to reheat). Superb toasties and Caesar Salad. Amazingly efficient and more importantly friendly and welcoming staff, and owner. My new go to place!

We were lost in the village and stopped in this Cafe to ask for help. The staff went out of their way to help us. Their kindness was greatly appreciated. Although we just had tea and coffee the cozy surroundings were relaxing after a frustrating morning. I would love to return.

Delightful small coffee house experience with nice quality coffee and good cake (well more accurately tea cake which was large, very light and flavoursome). The service was ever so slightly chaotic but nothing serious and it added to the charm. Very nice time, good atmosphere, recommend and will return. Thank you!

My friend and I had a wonderful birthday celebration here. The afternoon tea was amazing. This was our second visit here but first time for afternoon tea and definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and was all ready as we had pre booked. They also had a great vegan option for my friend. The staff are so friendly and lovely! A big shout out to Jo who works there. She is a credit to the place, nothing is too much trouble and she is wonderful. We definitely will be back!

"So, the first problem was the booking (and the exact same thing had happened the previous time we arrived at this restaurant with an Open Table booking). I had made the booking online and received confirmation both via email and in the OT app, which I could show at the restaurant. When I made the booking very limited times were available: nothing between 11.45am and 2pm, so we assumed the restaurant would be crowded. When we arrived a little before our 2pm booking, it was three-quarters empty and they had no record of my booking. Since the place was largely empty this didn't matter, but on another occasion it might have done. And maybe one reason the place was so empty was that other potential customers had also seen no availability between 11.45am and 2pm, so Cote had no online bookings. Either Open Table or Cote need to sort out what is wrong with their booking systems as it seems that in Horsham at least the systems do not talk to each other. The food was fine, typical Cote just as you would expect, but the service was disappointing. In a largely empty restaurant one might expect efficient and attentive service but we got nothing of the sort. It was hard to get attention from any server and we had to request some items several times. Someone who from her dress was probably the duty manager, spent most of her time lounging or chatting with other staff members rather than making sure customers got good service."
