"I enjoyed a lovely early dinner here before heading to the theater in Horsham. I've been coming to this restaurant for several years, and I'm pleased to say that the quality remains excellent. The menu features a wide variety of specialties, and I opted for the pan-fried hake while my friend chose the duck à l'Orange. Both dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. They also offer an extensive wine list and a selection of good ales on tap. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the service was friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience."

"The food was OK, cold drinks on a hot day very welcome for our bus tour group. What was surprisingly good was the historic pub building from Tudor times in very good restored condition, with a modern extension out the back to cater for more people and a good sized car park tucked around the side and the back. Waitstaff were more than helpful getting our group accommodated for lunch. The road approach is a minor road (not a major road) so some care needed to drive and enter the car park."

"I was hoping for a nice lunch because our friends had said how nice it was. The pub itself is actually really nice and I couldn't complain about the waiting staff who were very attentive. Unfortunately this wasn't matched by the quality of the food. Three out of the four of us ordered liver in a sauce which sounded nice. Unfortunately when it arrived all three of the meals were only lukewarm and we sent all of them back. As the liver was full of sinew and was unpleasant I said I'd have fish and chips instead which I'd seen someone else have and looked lovely. The fourth meal, (Sea bass) was fine. We then had to wait about 45 minutes for the replacement meals to arrive. To be honest when I looked at the fish and chips they then sent out I actually thought it was a joke. It looked like the meal had been scraped out of the bin. As I am diabetic I had to try to eat some of it before I became a medical emergency otherwise I would have sent it straight back as well. As it was, two chips and a bit of the fish was all I could stomach and I left the rest. I asked the waitress if we had been pushed to the back of the queue and she said they were very busy and were trying to fit us in. One of our friends liver was virtually inedible and she left most of it. The other liver was ok. Would I go back or recommend this place? Not on your life."

"Very disappointing, having been a regular diner here for many years this visit with friends fell short of acceptable. Meals were overcooked and inedible for three out of the four of us. Service was appalling, waited for 35 minutes for food and drink order to be taken and a further 20 minutes between courses. Has there been a change of ownership? Hopefully a one off experience."

"Arrived for dinner for my husbands 40th Birthday 2 weeks ago now after booking a month ahead for our celebration.Received an email earlier in the week reminding us of our reservation.Arrived suited and booted and excited to find the place in darkness!!No call, no sign, a pile of post on their mat!! We were furious, why couldn't we have at least gotten a call or an email to cancel our booking.Later found out the owner has decided to close permanently shame he gave no thought to actually doing the decent thing and telling people. We hadn't had a child free night out since before covid, had paid a babysitter and for taxis.....shame there was no Michelin Star service or thought to customers. Others people were also arriving disappointed!!"

"Great family evening at the six bells. Hosting was excellent and the food came pretty quick and most altogether considering there was 18 of us in total. The food tasted good and the portions were relatively filling having a starter and a main course meal. The pub was winter cosy with a live fire and well staffed, who were quick to offer help and serve us for drinks at the bar. Great mixture of ages too and prices of food and drinks are reasonable."

"Stayed here with a mate for the Goodwood Members' Meeting, the circuit is only 35 mins away. I arrived on the Friday evening for dinner, the bar was very busy with lots of friendly locals, good petrol head chat. I had a double room, large, spotlessly clean, warm and cosy, ample en suite bathroom. My mate had a twin room, similar size and quality. Got back downstairs to eat and drink, well kept beer, mostly Shepherd Neame (no Harveys in Sussex shame! I had the chilli one night and a lamb curry the other, both very good home made dishes, good portions, ideal after a day's motor racing in March. We could have had other curries of the week or pie of the week (chicken and chorizo . The staff are as friendly and helpful as their local customers and there's a small car park through the archway to the back of the pub. Failing that there's a decent sized public car park a 100 yds away. One caveat the bar closes at 12.30 on Friday and Saturday nights and the Friday was St Patrick's Day, if you aren't Irish and want an early night, it might be best to choose a room overlooking the High Street or bring ear plugs! However, a most enjoyable and relaxing stay, I'll definitely be back"

"The most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had &26.25 for chicken curry fried rice spare ribs with no sauce. the curry was curry coloured that's it the race was gloopy. The spare ribs with no sauce where is black is the night sky. The young lady behind the counter was extremely friendly apart from the this is the worst Chinese."

"Myself, Husband and our Son visited Cisswood House Hotel for lunch today. The food was nice, although the service left lots to desire. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, although then 35 mins after receiving dinner and having finished for 20+ minutes, there was no sign of our plates being collected and the next course being ordered. I went up to the bar to remind them that we were still here. Our plates were soon collected and dessert ordered. Another timely wait for 2 x brownies and a sticky toffee pudding, we were served pudding, exactly 1 hour and 2 minutes after our lunch was served. Trying to keep a 4year old occupied for this amount of time is not pleasurable, the opposite to what a lunch out should be. I also overheard 2 other complaints being made to staff during our visit there. It seems that there were only 2 members of staff to cover the restaurant and the bar area- this isn’t sufficient. I do not recommend here for families with young children, nor if you are looking for a quick lunch (by quick I mean 1.5 hours or less. We were there for 2 hours and I’m glad to be home after our visit)"

"OMG! I think I've just died and gone to food heaven! You have to try their food, it's amazing. We had the small dishes that are marketed as around the world in 18 dishes. We like to think of them as Tapas. We ordered 3 little dishes each, they are a bargain at £16.50 for 3 and very filling. Between the 5 of us we've tried most of the 18 dishes between us. My favourites are the Greek Salad (yeah, I know, how can a salad be a favourite? But honestly, you need to try this one! Jamaican Butternut Squash curry, which comes with 3 dumplins which are the most delicious thing I've ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth! A bit like a sweet scone with a crusty shell. And the Mozambique prawns, which just melt in your mouth. I was too full to try the puddings, but if the savory are anything to go by, I bet they are amazing too. Next time... I really can't fault their food, complements to your chef!"

"Top notch roast beef for Sunday lunch. I'm a stickler for crispy roast potatoes and these were perfect so I'm a happy bunny. A nice portion of beef and a good selection of veg rounded the meal off nicely. My wife had the chicken and was similarly impressed. Recommended !"

"We have had numerous take outs from here and are always fantastic. It's not cheap but quality is excellent and doesn't make you feel sluggish after eating. Our favourite is the set menu £18 pp) as it is huge and contains all of our fave options. Mixed starters; prawn toasts, spring rolls seaweed and chicken satay are delicious and not greasy at all. Next course is crispy duck, plum sauce and mini pancakes. Main course is sweet sour chicken, beef in black bean, stirfry veg and egg fried rice. All cooked to perfection and so much food!"

"I visited Pizza Plus Horsham for the first time last week, having received a leaflet through the door. Our order was made online and upon arrival at the premises, a gentleman in front of me was being served at the counter, so I waited my turn. Another man then arrived, who appeared to be a regular and he was duly served and departed. All very frendly chat between him and the server. Still I stood there, waiting to be acknowledged whilst the server began replacing the till receipt. As he had some difficulty doing so, another server spent time helping him. At no time during the 10-15 minutes I waited did anyone speak to me or acknowledge my presence. It was only when the server was actually dishing our pizzas up that he asked to check my order receipt. There must have been 5 chefs/packers/servers behind the counter, yet not one of them acknowledged my presence. Was it because I was a woman? I would like to think not, but maybe it 's a cultural thing. Whatever it was, they seriously need lessons in customer service. I, myself, have worked extensively on the frontline with the public and it 's not always easy, but just a hallo, sorry to keep you waiting or a please bear with us, I 'll be with you in a moment was all that was needed, rather than stoney stares and silence. The food was good, if a little bland, but I 'm afraid that we won 't be going back there again."

"Today, we visited this restaurant expecting the same great experience we had at Kokoro in Croydon two weeks ago. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. We ordered Salmon Teriyaki, Kyoza, a Sushi set (which unexpectedly included deep fried chicken), and prawns tempura. Everything was incredibly salty and we found it impossible to finish our meals. The Teriyaki sauce was overpowering, the deep fried chicken was too hard, and overall we were shocked by the poor quality. Despite the crowded restaurant, we will not be returning. We ended up throwing away most of our food as it was inedible, a complete waste of money."

"Hello ,I was yesterday to take my usual lunch as I do every day around 11:30 -12:30 and before to enter in Pret Horsham I see in front of the main shop entrance ,but before the outside tables area, A old man who did not fell too well and He look very dizzy .When I wanted to go in the shop to let staff member of Pret know about what I saw about the old man )l I saw this girl Michelle from Pret running from inside of the shop to get outside fast , pass me very polite and ask her colleagues for a bottle of water .When I turn back my head I see Her catching the old man with a "magic "power and hold him:the old man was very close to hit the table in front of him with his head. Was very close ...........that impact ....I don 't to think about it ...Excellent reaction and catch!Pure Angel reactions !After that all Her facts ,reactions ,the First Aid She done was with OUT any hesitations and very confident in what She does. I honestly tell you guys I remained like a stone and I did not have any reaction in the next 3-5 minutes . This girl ask for a phone ...She don 't get one because everybody was shocked about what was going on and She run for the office phone I guess and the ambulance was there and help the old man and take him away to hospital .Today I was to have my usual lunch and I see her again , smiling ,very polite with that good energy and vibe like usual.I notice her name it 's NOT Michelle and it 's Michaela .I personally thanked Her again today for showing me once more time that, YES! angels exist and should be appreciated as much now when we still have them around.Sincerely , C. "This pub is perfect for a group meal. We went here yesterday for our tennis club Christmas lunch and the whole event ran like clockwork. The food was plentiful, hot if applicable) and good quality. The staff were brilliant, the venue comfortable and everyone enjoyed themselves. They all said how good it was afterwards. We’ll now doubt be back next year!"

"We were looking for a pub for lunch having visited Leonardslee gardens, and saw the Plough. Getting in to the pub was a bit of a challenge: what appeared to be the main door was locked despite a sign outside saying open. We ended up trying all the doors until we find one that opened. The kitchen was not fully staffed so a limited lunch menu was on offer, but that suited our needs so we were not inconvenienced. Food was served quickly. We sat in the garden but the parasol pole was not well secured so ended up knocking over one of our drinks. The staff were pleasant but signage to the way in, and attention to the parasols have brought down our rating for this property."

"Great staff, very helpful and with a sense of humour. Lamb vindaloo and King prawn vindaloo very nice and not just full of lumps of potato in spicy tomato sauce. Rice wasnt sweaty. Naan really well made so wasn't like eating shoe leather. This was a TA but would definitely go for a sit down next time. Not super cheap but then again not just trays of oil so you do most definitely get what you pay for. Will be going back again as its nice to have proper food than go for something greasy and cheap then regret it the day after. Vegetarian options: Its an Indian restaurant. Dietary restrictions: I would say this was more of a religious dietary requirement. If you have an allergy itd be wise to check in advance regardless because why wouldnt you? Parking: Parking is easy. Car park isnt massive but its not tiny either. Just look on google maps. If the parking is crazy bisy pretty sure you can park at Sainsburys up the road after 8pm for nothing and its a 5 min walk to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a big ground floor plot and while it's not all ramps etc Im pretty sure it can be easily navigated. Didnt check the toilets out though so maybe ring and ask as mobility requirements and mobility aids are varied. So India are really approachable so best just confirm. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot"
