"We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation, and although our table wasn't ready, we were seated near the bar and given menus. Unfortunately, many of the items we wanted were not available. After a bit of a wait, we ordered our drinks and were finally seated at around 7:35pm. Our starters took a while to arrive, and by the time they did, we were quite hungry as we hadn't eaten since noon in anticipation of our meal. Our order got lost, but the waitress apologized and the food finally arrived at 8:40pm.
The portions were smaller than expected, but the food was tasty. Our mains arrived at 9:10pm, and while delicious, the long wait was frustrating. We were offered a complimentary drink, which was a nice gesture, but I would have preferred a discount. We paid almost £100 for the meal, which felt a bit steep for the experience. The service was friendly, but the communication about unavailable items and the wait time were disappointing.
Despite the setbacks, we enjoyed our night out together. We were seated near the door, which made it quite cold whenever someone came in or out. Overall, the meals were decent but overpriced, and the wait time was a major downside. Hopefully, the management can address these issues in the future."
