"Stopped by here with my Veggie friend because she wanted to convince me of the delights of vegetarian foods. lately I've found vegetarian food to be more than passable (in more than one sense) and I've eaten a fair bit of it of late. this option turned out to be a good shout because we had some rather nice sweet potato fries, some onion rings and a Seitan burger which was some mysterious patty with sundry veg and condiments. she added additional avocado which was a paid option, but the chef forgot to add it to the burger. when this was pointed out, he immediately offered it separately as well as an additional portion of onion rings for free. the fellas running the stall were friendly the burger was actually quite nice, the patty had a nice almost meaty texture with a flavour i could not place but did rather enjoy. and all the other bits and bobs combined to make a rather tasty munch. not bad for a vegetarian option, i would eat it again and it was no more pricey than your standard gourmet burger. as a confessed carnivore i can easily say if you're with a herbivorous friend and they want to graze on some foliage and your attendance is required, then you could pick worse places than this stall."

"Waited too long for food, our order was forgotten. When the breakfast arrived the bacon was overdone, the toast was tough to chew and the sausage was oily. The waitress acknowledged our wait, apologised and gave us a complimentary drink. Can't fault the waitresses just the chef needs to stop dishing up overcooked bacon. The food was so so considering the price, better off going to a cheaper cafe or a Toby for your breakfast."

"We walked there for Sunday lunch, arrived an hour early so we could have a drink first. There wasn’t anywhere to sit for just a drink so we sat at our table. We kept getting asked if we wanted to order, no thanks we’d like to finish our drinks please. The drinks were £4.20 each but we were asked for £9.40 so we had to point out the price. We eventually ordered our meals. The food was okay but nothing special. The roast potatoes were new potatoes done in the oven, the yorkshire puddings were from a packet, the veg was nice but not very hot. My wife had the vegetarian option with half a carrot and 2 slithers of cremated parsnip. Her meal was £15.95 and was a third of the size of my meat version, no Yorkshire pudding and no stuffing. Very disappointing."

"The staff at this restaurant are wonderful and the place is very clean. The hot food is delicious, but the peas were overcooked and the pigs in blankets were very fatty. However, overall it was a great meal. The parking lot is spacious and well-lit, although some of the parking lines need to be repainted. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food would be rated a 4 out of 5."

"I was a regular lounger in the shirley filiale, and I must admit that the portswood lounge is even better. the place is much bigger and the atmosphere is always relaxed, they are dog friendly, which is a great bonus, the prices are good and the eating is absolutely excellent. the service is also very friendly and the experience of ordering through the website/app is seamless."

"On our very recent stay in Bowness, we decided to revisit the Village Inn, despite having a bad experience there a few years ago. I am so glad to say that our decision turned out 100% right, as this time everything had improved immeasurably. There's..."

"visits Easter Sunday. have the three cursor Sunday afternoon roast dinner, suppe of the day (bäck/tomaten) brownie, which was a great worth (approx. £16 for 3 courses.) eating was delicious, tasteful and nutritious. the best Brat dinner we've ever had, and a good amount of gravy! we had to get the brownies to be gone as we were filled. also some smoothies. the personal was so lovely, friendly and helpful (the smoothie changed to take allergies) the decor was beautiful and we enjoyed trying the cards (Oracle cards etc.) they visit here a lot if we were native updated by previous review on 2022-04-18"

"Now that I am an expat, there are certain things from the usa that I didn't know I was spoiled, like the one beyond burger. I have taken this dinge in the usa for self-evident, because beyond burger is hard to find in Britain. honest burger offers a 100% vegan burger with one beyond meat, vegan cheese and vegan Mayo...es is quite delicious (see picture.) hb has a good job combined aromen and cook the patty patty. hb also offers another burger that can be made on request vegan (I think it was a falafel patty . but I will probably not try it because I can hit it for a home."

"My wife and I visited this restaurant today since the nearby Wetherspoons was fully booked with no available tables. There was a brief wait, but the manager was efficient and quickly seated customers as tables became free. The menu offered a wide range of options. We decided to order a fish finger sandwich and a Diet Coke each. Despite the busy atmosphere, our sandwiches arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious, featuring high-quality fish fingers and tartar sauce with generous chunks, all served on thick slices of fresh brown bread."

"Visited with my Husband and Son. I do feel the menu needs reviewing. Husband had gammon, egg and pineapple, a slice of fresh would have been nicer, not tinned) However, cabbage and carrot mash is a no-no with this , maybe garden peas, grilled...tomatoes? I had Sunday roast, although very nice, I'm certain the roast potatoes were cooked in the microwave? They were extremely hot compared to the other food , which was almost warm. The menu has far too much to offer. Maybe reduce the options to allow the Chef to concentrate more on the meals . I.E. Sunday roast has to be the best in in the area, limit the menu to concentrate on this, definitely doesn't need two different types of Gammon. Because of the large selection I do worry if the food is frozen? Only a suggestion. On that note staff very attentive at all times, service maybe a little slow. I will be visiting again, it's definitely not put me off."

"This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a drink on a chilly winter afternoon. The interior is unique, with comfortable seating and plenty of retro and Art Deco style pictures and wall art. I was impressed by the variety of vegan options on the menu, including brunch dishes, risotto, and a cheeseburger. During a visit in September 2023, I tried the Mexican brunch from their dedicated vegan menu and it was superb. This is a fantastic place to dine with both omnivores and non-vegan vegetarian friends or family members."

"Lovely meal, nice setting, will visit again. Only negatives were the conservatory was slightly cold, they had run out of honeycomb ice cream but instead just gave vanilla without informing us and the creme anglaise had split. Positives were the service was very good, the mains were very tasty and the price was reasonable. Thank you for a lovely meal."

"With several local friends we visited the Old Hunstanton Beach Cafe for Christmas dinner yesterday, the meal and friendly staff made it a special event that would have been a credit to any top restaurant. As locals we meet regular visitors who would never miss a trip to the best beach cafe in Norfolk whenever in the area. The quality of the varied food, catering for all tastes, can never be faulted on quality or price, and five gold stars is not enough to describe the food available. We wish all the management and staff a very happy Christmas and thank them for making everyone’s visit feel so special."

"Excellent food and wine all very reasonable prices and the waitress and waiter were both helpful and courteous. We have been here several times and it never disappoints. I would really recommend this place as somewhere to spend a pleasant evening. I believe now it opens only on a Friday and Saturday so book in advance to confirm. Only wish I had taken photos of the food, maybe in my next post. "We dined at this restaurant in September while staying at Kenwood House Hotel. Due to the current Covid situation, we had to register upon arrival. We had some trouble finding a table due to the crowd, but eventually settled in a corner with a screen between us and the next table. Despite social distancing guidelines, a group of young people sat nearby and were loud and disruptive. We were uncomfortable and ended up moving to a quieter table near the garden exit. The food was average, but reasonably priced, and the drinks were good value. Unfortunately, the lack of safety measures and disruptive atmosphere made for a unpleasant dining experience. We hope to see improvements in the future before considering a return visit."

"We love Ma Cameron's. Good food, polite service with a smile. Muzac just as we like it almost inaudible where we sat though we prefer total silence so we can hear the music of our conversation. I find the normal sized fish and chips quite sufficient but my wife dared me to try the large version little did I know there was method in the madness. When it arrived she took half a fish away to supplement her smaller steak sandwich."
