Roasts tasted like school dinners, and they use stock photography on their website to make the food look good when it isn't – seen the exact same photos on other pub's websites. Also a terrible place to watch the football, despite trying to advertise as a Euros pub on social media. Overall, bad atmosphere, criminal pricing, a must-avoid for anyone with self respect."

"I had made a reservation for around 7:30 in the evening to participate in the Harry Potter quiz at a restaurant. I ordered a pink lemonade and was shocked to witness a new employee (who mentioned it was only her second shift) being treated poorly by her boss, who threw a set of keys at her. The girl looked overwhelmed and I felt sorry for her just watching the situation. I hope that the staff at this restaurant are treated better because what I saw was really not okay. The new employee made a delicious pink lemonade, and I didn't mind the wait due to the circumstances she was dealing with."

"There was a lovely atmosphere there when we arrived, it was clean and tidy. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly throughout. After looking through a lovely and varied menu, it was difficult to settle on one choice, as there were so many dishes that sounded great, we ordered our meals and were asked if we had any allergens or special dietary requirements, my partner had the steak frites (she had the steak medium and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing and that's from a head chef of 23 years! , I had the slow cooked Goan lamb curry and rice and this was also excellent. The atmosphere in the place was lovely and it was not overly busy and as we ate and enjoyed our evening, we watched the other different meals that were coming from the kitchen and they all looked very nice indeed. The staff were always busy serving, clearing tables and going around the tables asking everyone if their food was ok and if there was anything else they wanted and needed, (they weren't standing around chatting or on their phones similar to so many other places today. We couldn't fault the place, the meal or the staff and would highly recommend others to eat here and I'm sure they will enjoy themselves, just as we did."

"long time we had no gbk! very clean place and friendly staff. they have the app for ordering or table ordering. we had two burgers and chips and the personal gave us information about a burger 2 and chips 2 for £20 deal. my man had a chicken burger-back with sharp chef, I had a bark burger called loaded. with limonade and vanilla shake. very good tasty and fresh bark meat and chicken rides and the parking for free after 6:00 clock we spent about £28. we come back! really enjoyed!"

"As an unapologetic fan of burgers the dirty cheese burger ticked off the list for deliciousness. The beef was tender, the cheese was generous and the bun was fresh. The Korean wings were sticky and sweet (not particularly my fave because I’m more of a heat person but my friends who isn’t, enjoyed it so yeah). The fries were really good The service was good and the waiter was quite attentive and polite Despite being the only one, she manned our table alongside others with a warm smile Not really a fan of the interior decor and construct, kinda looks like a warehouse to me. It was a bit echoey and just amplified other peoples’ voices and laughters (which was a wee bit annoying for me) but if you’re able to overlook that, then you’ll really find everything else quite pleasing! Maybe I’ll just do a take out next time"

"I regularly use this pub with a group of older friends. We get the senior’s meals which are excellent value. They are well cooked and enjoyable and followed with a sweet. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We always have an enjoyable time here and would like to thank the staff for their efforts. "flipside is a little full vegan fast food restaurant with a series of takeaway options as well as tables and stands to eat. the menu changes depending on the time of day, with burger the main drawing in the evening. they give and order on a screen, then they get their reception to pick it up from the counter. the service was fast and the staff very friendly and helpful, but I found it a scandal that the menu online had more options than actually available, and many items were not on stock. the burger was tasty, as well as the claw I ordered next to him, and the shakes were deliciously thick and creamy, especially the erdnus butter. I would definitely visit again and hope to try some of the other burger options."

"What a disappointment! Largely the food ... in brief (as I wont be back anytime soon ... With 2 guests, I spent 86 on Mains portions (all 3 that were small; Condiments sauce portions that were also small and one not what I wanted (asked for French mustard, was given English without explanation . My main, a House beef burger, was tepid. The accompanying red onion was picked and stringy. Chips were nice but again little portions. This was hidden in a cone shaped paper holder ... and served in a metal jug at least twice the size so you did 'nt see it. The olives portion on a small plate was quite hard and 'stone in '. Ugh. The bread small plate looked good but half the crusts were very hard. The butter was served on a piece of greaseproof paper tasted Ok. But it looked like it had just come out of a microwave and was all runny. The appearance was as if rancid. Ugh. The chocolate with caramel desert was missing the salt it tasted Ok when salt addI wont say any more other than ... that there was no farewell greeting as we left, despite us not complaining ... I didnt want to upset my 2 guests as I had invited them. Sufficient to say, I wont be going back as Stamford has nicer places with better food at a comparable price."

"One of my go to places in Peterborough, they have such a great selection of food and drink. I love that i can get pancakes at any time of the day! The decor is great and there is plenty of room inside (with downstairs seating too) and outside the restaurant. Always kept clean and tidy. Sometimes the staff can take a while to get to you but the addition of ordering on your phone helps with this. Would definitely recommend!"

"This restaurant is one of the best when it comes to serving breakfast. The food and drinks are good quality and priced reasonably. "We only stayed one night for an event at the 02 but this a lovely place right in the middle of Greenwich. The team are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location for the O2 with good transport links. Outside terrace and beer garden were very nice. The Mitre is on a main road, but It was very quiet when we stayed with no road or people noise through the night. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in this area."

"Vivo Lounge has been a regular Sunday breakfast haunt when we’re in Dorchester, visiting family, and it’s also great for an evening drink, as they label their vegan-friendly wines, which saves on a lot of googling. The vegan breakfasts are large and filling, although the inclusion of falafel and peppers is a little odd. On our last visit, we had the Big Vegan Breakfast which comes with a sausage, three hash browns, three falafels, a slightly odd shredded vegan bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, toast and the incongruous peppers and spinach. I’d prefer to go to Vibes, just down the road, but they don’t open on Sundays, and I’d love for Vivo Lounge to be fully vegan, but I think they deserve 4 stars for effort."

"Some sandwiches were almost like bread and butter as the filling was so thin. The vegan sandwiches were a green leaf and some sort of chutney, the cake wasn't great. The scenes, cream and jam were lovely and the waiter was pleasant. We still had a great time but I wouldn't recommend this hotel for afternoon tea."

"My family talked me into having my 70th birthday party on the top floor of the cube. I wasn’t sure it would be the right venue given my age and believing Poulton on a Saturday night was for the young. Couldn’t have been more wrong. We had a fabulous night. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and efficient. The ambience was perfect and food really good too. Our guests came from all over the country and ranged in age from 2 to 77! Everyone had a great time and we are still talking about it! Antonia was so helpful at every stage of the planning. We chose the party package which included room hire, canapé buffet and a drink on arrival. Excellent value for money! Would highly recommend to anyone and definitely use again should another occasion arise."

"I had eaten here before I had given a five-star rating, but today was the complete opposite. coffee must be made to a uniform level, today was not the best I had here. I was taken to breakfast today, so I didn't pay, I would have complained, didn't want my friend to be embarrassed. all three breakfasts were much satisfactory. fantastic quality produce ruined. Why do they serve hot food on cold tellers? I didn't want black pudding, I didn't want it to be replaced by anything else, which was checked by the server after ordering why I got my breakfast served with black pudding, which is a waste of food. How is that possible? the personal must be overwhelmed by someone who is obviously responsible, where was this person? I can't recommend this device as I had in the past. it's up to you to regain my destiny. they made changes, we had a nice experience so I changed my review."

"My first time having breakfast it was delicious and so fresh. Service was amazing. I think the girls name was amy. I lost my wee bit of paper with her name on it, so sorry about that. I was I think 1 or 2 minutes late, and she spoke with the manager he gave her the all-clear to put it through, so thank you to you too. I have not had a big breakfast for ages. I just took a notion for it and could not believe it. You can have a lot of coffee as you want too, which I finished off with some short bread. Thank you for excellent service and to the chef breakfast. Amazing, I am telling everyone about it. Great value for money. Defo will be back again. Veronica Watson"

"We visited IOW for my boyfriends birthday and we visited on a Tuesday. As soon as we walked in we were greeted very warmly by the guys they were so welcoming. Everything was explained to us and they really could not have been more helpful. I'm gutted to say I didn't catch all of their names but the guys who we saw that day really made our experience of visiting a games cafe for the first time one we will never forget. There was one particular guy, aaron (I hope I have spelled this correctly! And my goodness he was so helpful with how to play games and always checking if we were OK. He is a complete asset to this business! We stayed there pretty much all day. The range of games they have is incredible, the place itself is kept so clean. The cocktails are amazing! Particularly the ticket to ride (Woo Woo we also ate here, we had the Cuban baguette which my bf had and he said it was one of the nicest baguettes he's ever had. I had the philly steak on wedges, absolutely delicious. We will be visiting the IOW again in the near future and we will 100% be returning. If you are looking for a very relaxed place to sit and forget about the world outside whilst playing some amazing boardgames, and have some of the friendliest people cater to you this is your place. "Monday lunchtime, and it was handy so my friend and I went there. Staff were lovely but table had not been wiped down. Food came. My burger was hard as rock and no flavour. Whisky sauce cold and congealed. Chips and onion rings were good, freshly cooked and hot. Disabled toilet was awful. Everyone was using it rather than go upstairs, which I can't being disabled. It was filthy and no water from tap. If it wasn't for the friendly, helpful staff it wouldn't have as many stars."

"Popped in for a sunday roast about 3.30 in the afternoon. Probably not the best time, as it seems the food may have been cooked much earlier and been waiting for us to arrive. Menu a bit sparce for sunday roasts, so we opted for the roast turkey. Not fresh cooked turkey as we thought, but something pressed and out of a packet or tin, at a guess. The roast potatoes with overcooked burnt edges had been kept warm for some time we thought, as were most of the vegetables. Bits of the broccoli were quite hard too. Carrots, cauli, peas and gravy great but got cold quick. Everything got cold quite quickly, and although there was quite a sizeable portion, but it was late in the day and even the plates were cold, subsequently the meal got cold quickly .... shame. Might have said it was good value for money had we been earlier, when all was fresh and hot. Beer was very good, as was the service.. Thanks to the staff. I think the whole experience needs a bit of a look at to improve. Sorry, not the most enjoyable meal we've ever had."

"I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past, but I must say that their quality has significantly declined. During my visit last night, I encountered numerous issues such as lack of water in the toilets (which made me question how they wash their dishes), torn seats and poorly upholstered furniture. Additionally, my meal was undercooked and although they offered to replace it, I opted for a refund instead as I couldn't wait any longer. Although the staff were friendly, I feel sorry for them considering the state of the establishment."
