"as a regular of this facility I can say that it is definitely one of the nicer wetherspoons in its region. the personal is very helpful while maintaining a professional service standard. they are very kovid strict and enforce the rules well, keep the place as covid safe as possible. it can be very busy at weekends who can wait in a waiting queue to get in. from my experience, this queuing system is not very efficient, it is just a case to try in instead of an official queen who can be quite frustrating. eating could do with some improvements, but they get what they pay, the drinks on the other side are great worth, probably one of the cheapest places for pint, a thing I noticed is that menu is cheaper than other wetherspoons operate. the beer garden is beautiful for sunny days and the inner is beautiful and cozy when its cold. the place has a lot of character about how it used to be a theatre as bingo, only in the last few years it has become a restaurant and a bar. weather its breakfast, lunch or dinner, the john fairweather makes a pleasant affordable place to eat and drink. but its probably best to avoid on Saturday night, as it can be a pain to get one, it may sometimes be common to find underwater drones and spicy, and at the rare opportunity, hardships. that makes it a star for me, sometimes there is a bouncer, sometimes there is not."

after a local football for a quick bite. great service, especially since I didn't want to use the app. that was not a problem, and our meals and drinks were within minutes with us. Many thanks to the employees who still work under restrictions.

I love this pub and I am a regular but it is really annoying when they serve you a pint of fosters in a tennents glass or any other glass apart from a fosters glass. I have repeatedly asked the staff about it including the...manager but they just shrug their shoulders and say they don’t have any. Also they take forever to remove your plates or glasses from your table. I hate to moan so I hope a manager views this review.

we have dined here as a family and the place was dirty. the menus were so sticky that we couldn't open them. the table was dirty. the food was in order, but could have been better. the whole place was too dark and let us ask if they didn't really light up the restaurant because it would look even worse in good lighting. the staff were friendly and quickly brought us our food, but the venue needs attention to meet the standards we expect.

This is my local Wetherspoons and yes they were under pressure with the eat out deal But having said that they fell short on waiting staff Drinks orders were sitting on the bar and it took over mins for me to get mine after...I told a member of staff I was waiting Food was only warm due to demand as the bar was full While disappointed it won’t put me off coming back when things settle down Lastly while the menus said you could pay at the bar I was told the app was the only way I didn’t argue as I use the app but others may struggle

Wetherspoons have as usual spent money saving an iconic building and restoring it in a sensitive manner This old picture house is now back as part of the community retaining many of its features. We went on Thursday which is curry night and while the...curry may not equal the better Indian restaurants it certainly exceeds the average both on quality and price. Add to this the excellent real ales at ridiculously cheap prices and you have a great experience. If you are in Cambuslang pop into the John Fairweather and enjoy the experience.

Come here at least once a week now. This old converted cinema is huge and full of character. It's been restored to its former glory and is an ideal meeting place for lunch, dinner or just drinks with family or friends. I use this place...for business lunches and meetings with work colleagues. Probably not to entice new business. Spoons maybe not. But the food is consistently good. If you don't like fried food, maybe not for you, but Fish Friday is amazing. Cannot get better fish and chips, with a pint or glass of wine for around Small plates is another favourite with a load to chose from. Prawns, chicken wings (wow macaroni cheese bites, small pizzas. for around a tenner!! The staff are real...

Popped into the John fairweather for the discount during august for breakfast with friends for a catch up. New government guidelines so we couldn’t order at bar had to download the app...... being of the more mature age I did not have the...phone to which the app supported but Chelsea the duty manager on shift was so helpful and let me and two of my close friends get table service. This young lady was so helpful and respectful and took all of our orders and talked us though everything. I could see throughout my visit that she was very busy but she remained with a smile on her face and never showed her stress (even though it was very busy and understaffed) I have to say, this girl has been br...
