"We had a really nice meal with friends and the food was lovely. My only critisism would be that at £7.50, the prawn cocktail starter was overpriced. The prawns and lettuce were very fresh but there was no bread with it as you would expect so it was quite a small portion for the money considering you can get a main meal for £10-12. It was quite busy but the staff was attentive and they were quick with both the food and drink orders. My main meal wasn't bought out with the others and I had to ask if they could check where it was as the other 3 had started eating their meals. It arrived a few minutes later. Overall a good experience and we would definitely go back again."

"Easy to find a space outside, greeted by a helpful receptionist. we loved our room, room 1. so spacious and clean and lovely décor and great view of the square. Really liked the Bramely products and bathroom with very hot water. We grabbed a drink before dinner, great atmosphere in the bar and noticed the Gm being very attentive to the guests. The dinner was lovely, we weren't so keen on some of the main dishes but equally happy picking a burger and a steak we also really enjoyed breakfast the next day and the tall waiter sorry cant remember his name) was very nice and had great interaction. "Fine food and Issues Decided to visit as the reviews were mainly great. Arrived to find it looked ten minutes after due to be open. They were just opening the door. I went in and quickly used the toilet, not flushed by last person that used it! It's a well laid out, well decorated restaurant. I chose the Escargots as my starter, well cooked with a very small amount of sauce sadly no tongs to hold the shell. They were 6 very nice molluscs. The main was an absolutely sensational tasty seafood salad. Interesting dressing on a generous variety of sea food and nice salad. I had ordered a lime and soda, it transpired they had no lime so someone went out to buy some and could only get lemon, which was ok. When it came to the desert I liked the idea of four of them but ordered the lemon tart. A few minutes later the lady running front of house (I later discovered it was her first day in post!! Returned hugely apologetic telling me sadly they had no lemon tart. I chose the cherry clafouti and a few minutes later the young lady came back devastated to tell me they had none of that either! I eventually had a brownie, which she didn't charge me for. Must confess it didn't excite and the supplied ice cream was quite crystallised as if it had been refrozen. The table next to me were told they had no more Escargot, so clearly they opened with only one portion available. Front of house was good, 2/3 of the food I had was great but clearly someone needs to sort out the kitchen too many problems to give customers confidence of availability. Was it worth the trip? Oh yes but they have some serious organisational issues to resolve."

"this place has about 8 vegetarian pizzas that can all be made with vegan mozzarella. they also serve a vegan salad. I had the 9 Lois pizza that was a great tasting fresh stone baked option with balsamico glazed med veg truffle oil. I was pampered by pure vegan pizzerias unfortunately the vegan cheese they used did not taste the best. it was like a supermarket brand. they had some vegan starters in the offer, but I tried the flower wings with a spicy buffalo sauce. they were very different to other flower wings that I had elsewhere, a dry Indian cube coating with al dente flower flowers flourishes the soße served in the side (would not interfere with them again) . they have a large beverage range that I went for a blueberry mojito mojito moock tail. it was not very well mixed, but after touching it was a lot tasty (even if the blueberries blocked the straw we sat outside the service was fast (expected to pay a little too long)"

"Awful… avoid, don’t waste your money! Visited the pub to sit in the pub garden to view the chapel but we’re greeted instead with a poor badly neglected area they called a terrace/garden. Nothing like the photos we saw on TA which were from 2014, obviously under different management who have let it deteriorate to a shocking level of disrepair. The outdoor wooden furniture was rotten, falling apart, nails protruding on benches, an absolute H&S nightmare. Disused equipment, dumpsters, old petrol cans, shopping baskets, rubbish strewn around making it uncomfortable to sit in and to look at. We found a table, rotten with used cigarette butts and to our left a dead mouse, our right a pile of dog mess.. dead flowers in rotten wooden planters, dead trees, broken umbrellas, no staff clearing up.. so disappointing, what could be a beautiful country pub in an idyllic village has been left to slowly rot away with management who obviously don’t care about the pub or their customers.. absolutely shameful"

"I went to the Luton branch with is newly opened for breakfast. I made a reservation the night before. On arrival we were met with 4/5 workers saying they didn’t have our reservation! We informed them it was reserved yesterday and it was all confirmed with a gentlemen. The tables were empty apart from one family, no reservations notices on the table and they’re telling me we can’t sit because We don’t have a reservation. The woman at the front with the glasses is extremely rude! She will say no even before you tell her your name! They seemed really annoyed, they then told us we could have the back table, we sat down. We ordered breakfast, we were served by Ella, who was absolutely lovely so attentive. We got our tea well before breakfast, so the tea was cold by the time breakfast came. I wouldn’t go back to this branch again as I found some of the staff rude and annoyed as they assumed we didn’t have a reservation! Another couple came and they were also questioned about their reservation which they also had made! They tend to turn people away even though tables are empty! At least if they have the reservation tickets on them you know they’re reserved. I wouldn’t go back here again because of the staff attitude."

"Service severely lacking! Popped in yesterday Saturday afternoon around 2.30ish) so not overly busy had no issues at being told bar only area, really not a problem. As ordering at the bar not an issue. Ordered food, drinks, starters arrived, mackerel pate was fine, lamb kofta, husband said was ok but cold... hadn't really finished when mains arrived, oh I said that's quick.. response was, oh forgot you had starters.... asked for vinger not a hard request) still waiting !!!!!! No check back, nothing. Not even when I went to get more drinks literally sitting in front of the bar. So just shy of £100. For 2. Plates were still sitting there when we left, after having finished our meal a good 40 mins earlier. Food was ok. But service seriously lacking. Won't rush back... Shame used to be. better"

"Three out of four meals were okay,, though not exceptional, and one, the pork belly, very disappointing as it was tough, tasteless, and the mustard mash appeared to be missing the mustard. The starters came promptly and staff were friendly, but we waited at least another 30mins for our mains and had to chase them up as we were heading for a concert that evening. Food was not piping hot as if it had come from the kitchen which led us to believe it had been sitting awhile before coming to the table. The waitress who cleared the table took the negative report back to the kitchen and the offending item was removed from the bill, a positive touch. We did not have time for desert due to the delayed main course. The ambience was lively as expected on a busy Friday, but we’d recommend a table away from the ‘main corridor’ as it was quite draughty on a cold evening."

"Had a roast here, was very nice. Only down side was we looked at the menu online to see they did Turkey, but when we arrived they didn't have any. a little bit disappointed as we picked this pla e for the Turkey Roast. Had the beef instead and it was lovely. My partner had the Lamb which was also tender and lovely. Will definitely be back again, hopefully when they are serving Turkey . Price per person: £40–50"

"Paid 24 pounds for a beef roast Which to be fair was about right For a roast But found one carrot and no green veg was poor admittedly, there were root vegetables. But needed to top up with peas and Broccoli just to top the plate up which was a fiver extra So 29 pounds I found to be Not value for money, told the member of staff when paying. "My family and I recently visited this restaurant for a get together and were seated at a quiet table with a beautiful view of the garden. Three of us ordered the delicious gambas prawns, while my partner tried the scotch egg from the specials menu and loved it. For our main courses, I had the perfectly cooked seabass and my partner enjoyed the mixed grill from the specials. The rest of our party ordered the scampi steak sandwich and all found the food to be excellent. Our server Molly Akanksha took great care of us and was very friendly. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a local restaurant."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for my birthday. The owners, Graham and Rob, gave me a card which was a very thoughtful gesture. The courtyard at the back has been nicely renovated with heaters for chilly evenings. The food was exceptional, even for my non-vegan family members. This restaurant is a great place to try vegan food for the first time. Supporting local independent eateries like this one is what makes Cornwall such a special place. "The "Pub" was poorly managed, as they had run out of basic drinks and I was seated at the wrong table. I had to stand awkwardly while waiting for a chair to be brought to me, and had to ask three different people where my chair was after about 10 minutes. After reading reviews on TripAdvisor, I had low expectations. I was disappointed to find out that they had no vegan options for my wife who ordered the vegan roast, and the children's pizza was of terrible quality. This was our first and definitely last visit to this establishment. Even Gordon Ramsay would struggle to improve this place unless they undergo a full overhaul of staff, menu, and ambiance. Only then would there be a chance to attract more customers."

"I have booked a table with flame and fire for a Valentine's Day dinner. eating was excellent steak tender, juicy and of very high quality. the wee was also very good (without breaking the bank) and the waiters were attentive, without being intrusive. the back of the restaurant is a little phoenix nights, but that has only added to the fun and laugh of the evening! overall, a beautiful foundation and one I will definitely come back."

"The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and extensive experience in Japanese cuisine, but I was extremely disappointed by what I had expected from a high-caliber restaurant. "Went for dinner with my wife, son and daughter over the weekend and we had a very good experience. Luckily we booked a table, because restaurant was really busy. Setting is quite basic, but really nice and attractive. Staff very friendly and attentive, very willing...to recommend dishes and make your stay a good experience. We were four adults and ordered the shack stack which is basically a large selection of seafood. It included some oysters, but because they were really good, we ordered more. Food was tasty, well prepared, well served, and you could tell that was fresh, really fresh. Really a great experience. Very positive surprise. A restaurant on my list to return on my next trip to Falmouth."
