I’m sorry to say I find the Masons Arms not a very well run pub because it closes too early at 10:00 pm which I don’t like much as most pubs throughout the country stay open later so why should the Masons Arms be any different?

The menu was very limited and for people with food intolerances there is not much to choose from, ice cream very expensive I could have bought a two litre tub of ice cream and had change for what I paid). Staff lovely and the pub is a lovely dog friendly place.

We stayed at the campsite for one night and all the staff made us feel welcome, even chatting with the lovely cleaning ladies. The chef tailored our meal choices to the limited menu perfectly. The bar staff were both fun and efficient. We definitely plan on returning!

The customer service was excellent, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband had the Caesar salad, he missed not having a few anchovies and also thought the Caesar dressing was a bit bland. I had the halloumi which was delicious, although a few more cherry tomatoes would have been nice. Just a couple of things with the food was lacking, hence the rating.
