"Fantastic place! A definite go to. Visited for the first time last night for a date night. We were served by Emily and Georgina and they were amazing. Really knowledgeable and super friendly and professional. We had halloumi and bao bubs to start, followed by half price steaks.. the filet is amazing. Than a biscoff martini for desert. The cocktail selection was great and really tasty. Would highly recommend."

"I was really thrilled to find this place last time I was in St Just. I 'm from Cornwall myself, was vegetarian from the age of 11 (I 've been vegan for 3 years now , and when I was young it was almost impossible even to get vegetarian food a lot of the time. Asking for a salad sandwich would often lead to the refrain 'what, no meat?? ' followed by utter confusion. These days it 's getting a lot easier (yay! and finding The Square last time I was home visiting my Mum was a lovely surprise. It was a flying visit, and unfortunately I was there too early in the day to get to try the vegan pizza, but I had a large salad with a vegan bhaji, a slice of vegan cake, and coffee with soya milk. It was filling, tasty, and excellent value for money. The staff were delightful, friendly, and very welcoming. Next time I 'm down visiting family I 'm going to make sure I 'm in time to try the pizza, and they had some very tasty sounding sorbet too. My one very minor complaint, is that I wish they 'd been serving the vegan pizza at lunch time!"

"was often in this pub and always had a really great experience, but unusually we went to dinner instead of lunch, on a busy Saturday night and overall it was not as good as in the past. that eating was still excellent, really good. Actually, but we were unusual to be a few while there were more groups of 4 and above. the noise levels were incredible and the service was slow, despite the fact that the person we took as a lead server was literally between the tables. we also asked one of them if they were short-size and surprisingly they said they were not, but that some people were completely new. we had to order drinks more than once. I still think it would be a great place to go, but I would stay for lunch or choose to sit a quieter evening if they have something like that, or even go in a bigger group where they don't notice the delays so much."

"Simple answer would be. Loved the food well flavoured and cooked. Two of the photos are starters mushroom cheese the other chicken winds. The Mains chicken burger chips, beef burger chips and fajitas. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They catered for 10 of us which was appreciated. Hopefully when I'm down that way to visit my friends I can persuade them to have a meal there."

"I can honestly say I cant wait to go back again. One its stunning design and has joyful atmosphere. The price is bang on good value but wow the food was top notch authentic Italian. But the staff were just super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t of asked for more. I had a spaghetti dish and it was just perfect, al dente but on the softer side. The sauce was so creamy and silky and so well flavoured. The chicken was perfect and the flavour punch was amazing. The chrizo wasnt like any other I have had it was just so gorgeous. I had to treat myself to a desert, great choices but the tiramisu took my fancy as it always seems to. It was heaven on a slate, so fluffy, so fresh and so creamy. It was beyond what I have had in england of an Italian, it is up there with the best I have tried. In totally I had a main, desert and 1 pint and a bottle of peroini. Sub £30. Bellissimo, until next time"

"We recently moved nearby and have visited this restaurant a few times for enjoyable meals. For Christmas, we decided to try their Christmas Dinner, which was advertised on their festive menu online. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated at a busy and poorly located table. Sadly, there was nothing festive on the table or in the atmosphere, and the staff did not acknowledge the holiday season. When we mentioned we had booked for the festive menu, the server informed us that it was not available on Sundays, even though it was advertised online and we had specifically requested it when booking. After some confusion, we were only given one festive menu for the four of us. The food turned out to be bland and tasteless, with small portions and no festive touches like crackers. Our past experiences at this restaurant were positive, but this Christmas Dinner was disappointing. We had a much better experience at another restaurant for Christmas in the past, so it's possible to have a great holiday meal out. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for a festive family outing."

"Our experience at Zayani on Sipson Road was unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Anish. From the moment we walked in until we left, Anish was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs. His recommendations were excellent, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. The food at Zayani is outstanding. We enjoyed every bite, from the delicious Chicken Tikka Patiah to the fragrant Peshwari Naan. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients shone through in every dish. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, offering a relaxing escape from the nearby Heathrow airport. Despite having tried many restaurants on Sipson Road, Zayani has now become our top choice, just beating out Achari. The Cobra beers we had perfectly complemented our meal, making the evening even more enjoyable. Hats off to Anish and the entire team at Zayani for providing us with such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning soon!"

"Once they entered the omni cafe and examined the menu, we could say that we visited something special somewhere. the lunch menu offered 6/10 exciting vegan options and a large selection on the side as well. we ordered the banh mi and a mango, chili, erdnuss and tofu Vietnamese salat with a side of sweet knuckles in a soy and sesame broth. the Vietnamese salate was lively, fresh and aromatic with a series of textures and perfectly cooked and seasoned tofu, while the banh mi was crisp, bursting with taste and well seasoned. again the tofu was absolutely excellent. the dumplings were also delicious and a perfect companion to the net. Overall we spent just over £30, what some can say is expensive, but if the quality of eating is so good, it doesn't matter to them to pay something extra. the owners have a great decor and atmosphere here, with nice staff and I cannot expect to come back."

"Having visited Denny’s in America several times, we finally got to cost the Swansea team e a couple of years ago and it was great. We were really looking forward to our return visit today! Unfortunately this place has gone down hill so so much and we wouldn’t be surprised if it was closed this time next year. We ordered a banana milkshake, black coffee, chicken tenders and fries, a grand slam with a side of fries, extra bacon and extra french toast and a portion of cinnamon bites. At a total cost of £50 ish we expected it to be as good as we remembered. Nope. The chicken tenders were ok-but mostly coating-not much chicken on the 4 tenders. The fries were not fries they were like a hollow/scooping chip and were cold when they arrived. The banana milkshake was good but after waiting 35 -40 minutes for our food the milkshake was well and truly finished before the food arrived. The grand slam was horrible. The bacon was streaky so we expected it to be fatty, but it was all fat, the eggs were too rubbery to even eat. The toast was ok, the potato hash was cold, the fries (same as above- NOT fries) were cold. The cinnamon bites were burnt on the outside and cold on the inside-the frosting was nice. So all in all the onky good things were the coffee and the milkshake- the rest was virtually left u touched it was that bad. £50 is expensive for a coffee and a milkshake, as the rest inedible. Give this place a kiss, there are much better places now unfortunately."

"A bit shocked today been for Sunday lunch for the first time since take over. Was a bit shocked we were told not booked in but this was not a surprise to the owner as She said she had 15 others that were also booked but not in the book. Agreed to seat us but needed our table back by 5 . Fine this was at 3.30 by 4 had no menu given to us and a young girl said are you ok. We said we had not been given a menu and then got told I will give you a menu but go to the bar and order. No problem. What happened to the Service we used to have. Seemed to me the new owner wanted the customers but with No service. So many girls behind the bar but no personnel service. Every customer that had the Sunday lunch kept asking for more gravy (should tell you something). Lady who had Turkey waited 15 mins to asked a girl for cranberry sauce. Don’t think you have got the customers Off the back of the last owners you should be making sure you do it for yourself, Hope things change and wish you success."

"I was two thoughts whether I should recommend this restaurant, the first selfish reason was that I would be able to easily get a table whenever I wanted, and recommended would mean more customers, excellent for the grill, not so excellent for us! I feel that I have to book a lot in advance as this place is so good. I thought then that when we had such an amazing time that I really should let others know how good the grill really is! great family owned and run restaurant, service brilliant, no question was too difficult or too much annoyed. felt like royal and attentive staff made the dinge so comfortable. the food that all cooked to order, fresh ingredients and served hot was excellent and a long way from the chain restaurant tepid bland fare. the chef has cooked everything to order and perfection and follow special diets without problems, so if they change from normal high street food factories and want some really excellent dishes I would highly recommend. we have found a brilliant place and cannot wait to visit again. cannot recommend very enough and have never given more than 4 stars, 5 should only be used for the extraordinary and this restaurant is excellent."

"The wife and I went last night and we got served and seated very quickly. It wasn't that busy! We got our drinks and food ordered which was great. About 15 minutes had passed and we hadn't got our food. The waitress came over and told us that the chef had mixed up the order so they had to re do the order which would've taken a bit longer. We were given 2 free drinks on the house which was very nice of the waitress. Then when we got the food I noticed my sweet chilli chips were cold. So I went up told the waitress that they were so they took the chips of the bull which was great. So when we finished our meal we were offered 2 free desserts and we were amazed at how great the customer service was and very rare to get else Where. We will be back again because the food was fantastic and the customer service was on point."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this cocktail bar chain: the day I had was probably one of the most beautiful restaurants that I ever had! and it was also a really good price without jumping to the portion size. there was only 1 vegan dessert option: a brownie cherry cheese cake that was not only delicious, but they get 2 fairly large slices for just £2.99! definitely recommend. service was also really fast the employees were about what was vegan or not, for example the fries are not (what a little frustrating) because they are not cooked in separate frits. the only big farewell is that the beverage menu does not say whether the dinge are vegan or not, which is not ideal when it is top selling point it cocktails."

"This is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in outside of Italy . That is quite a statement, coming from a man who will categorically slate any restaurant who offers mediocre Italian food. I am Italian, 61, and live in London. I consider my self a very good cook having learnt in Tuscany and Lazio in the early 80s to mid 90s from old wives, chefs and cooks alike. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It not only offers a set taster menu of supreme quality, but has the feel of a real authentic Italian restaurant. The chef Mamoon is from Bangladesh but for me he can be an honorary Italian if he likes. He has learned from a great chef the owner can 't recall his name) but he has learned so well. The paccheri hand made pasta with sausage was the very best pasta I 've ever eaten in a restaurant outside of Italy. Cooked to perfection. The fagioli with pancetta was of supreme quality and he needs to teach me how to cook it. please, please... Any restaurant who offers both Ornellia £100) a bottle or Tignanello £240) per bottle is serious. I cannot afford these wines anymore, but recall drinking them in Italy and they are of exceptional quality. Their house red was excellent and smooth and reasonably priced. They decide what you eat. They ask you if you have any dislikes at the start and then they bring you out an 8 course meal of top notch quality. Antipasti of prosciutto, figs, rugola, asparagus in a lovely cheesy sauce, the amazing fagioli and pancetta, prawns in garlic and tomato, scallops, paccheri pasta with sausage meat and cream, with a grand finale of porchetta with oven potatoes. THIS RESTAURANT IS A TEN! Simona, the manager is lovely, attentive and welcoming. Mimmo the waiter work his socks off and is brilliant front of house. I cannot fault this restaurant. It might be pricy for some at £70 per head plus wine, but it is worth every penny. Will I be going back? 100%! So who is Tony Toast? Well he 's my lifelong friend. It 's not his real name just his alter-ego. We celebrated his 60th last night in this wonderful little restaurant and it was a night we shall all remember! Thank you Boccon di 'vino you are divine! I had to ask for a table movement because we sat on the table next to the wooden stairs. every time the staff of heavy footmen came up the stairs, my chair was “jumping”. Perhaps they ask their staff to push up the stairs: on the plus side we were immediately moved to a table on the other side of the restaurant without fuss."

"Went to visit yesterday 25.06.24 Checked online before coming. The website’s the opening time information stating that the branch is open at time of our arrival 21:00 and website side it closes at 23:00 But when we reached. It was closed. We understand that it can change online can be unreliable. We were disappointed that all the staff in the bar left us as customer standing there no information given. Not till my tall husband arrived and asked that’s the only time one staff says place was closed. I really do not mind that the premises is closed. Lack of customer care was the one I feel that was not addressed professionally. This really puts us off coming to any Toby’s. All the Staff saw us typing car registration intending to dine or drink or else why will we stand there typing our car registration and waiting to be seated? No regard for customer I feel it needed to be raised for future customer patrons as you will lose customer if you don’t talk to them."

"We had a reservation for breakfast for four people. We were seated quickly, but then had to wait 20 minutes before we were offered any drinks. Another 20 minutes passed before they took our food order, after I complained. We then had to wait even longer for our food to arrive. People who arrived after us were served before us. When I brought this up to the manager, he just brushed me aside and said they were extremely busy. Well, yes, I could see that, but maybe they shouldn't accept bookings if they can't handle it! I felt bad for the young wait staff as there weren't enough of them. The food was okay, so no complaints there, but the service was terrible."

"MAN the food here was nice!! I had Rib eye steak and salad , and it was absolutely lovely!!! Rib eye can be hit and miss at times because of the fat content but this was cooked perfectly medium rare and there was no gristle whatsoever salad was fresh and crunchy, with nothing over the top and silly about it. It just complemented the steak and freshened the palate. Which was exactly what it was there to do. Job done. Loved it. My friend had beef nachos and chicken burger which he said was the best he’s had it was huge too… Our lovely waitress was called Lauren (A Rock Chick out front! Always good to see!"

"First went here 3 years ago and it was .......ok! Now under new ownership and what a complete change !! They have managed to complete change the atmosphere....very cosy small restaurant feel. Good selection of wine and Italian beer on draught. The starters were very generous size was ! I went for the Italian meats and cheese board ! Was the size of a mains and very well presented. Aside from the usual dishes you would expect like paste and pizzas their is also many meat and chicken dishes! One of our party had sea bass with lemon ...she said it was fantastic. I’m no expert but the party of six I was in we once a year have a late weekend in a different Italian city or town we know Italy and it’s food) . For a small market town Italian ....this place hits the spot. Back again this evening ! Steak was the best I’ve had in a longtime. Wife had the special lobster pink vodka sauce dish ! Good wine selection and bruschetta to die for. Can’t recommend this place enough"
