"friendly and stylish. I was first on the nags head as youngster and it was a traditional 'old youngs' pub with sticky carpets and a dartboard. but 40 years on it, a name again and again, and the refreshed ethos of pubs to become a destination and a tasty, this place ticks all boxes. the share plate was excellent (no fault of a dead toothache) the it area is cozy, traditional and stylish and on a sunny day that it was free is a joy at the back that expresses itself over fields."

we often go here and love it absolutely! the staff is amazing, eating excellent and is a really nice family friendly pub with a beautiful garden and gorgeous interieur! I would recommend to anyone whether to eat or drink with friends, family or partners!

A really lovely, cosy pub with traditional fixtures and fittings. Lovely food, great service and a massive garden which makes it a good place to go in the summer. Went over Christmas and it was really busy but still fantastic! Good to see a local pub doing so well, hope it continues!

Had a superb meal. The crab cakes were delicious. Enjoyed the best service we’d experienced in years from Nicholas, who was exceptionally professional, yet warm and friendly.... he was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Hoover was welcome and a bowl of water was immediately provided just for him. We’ll be going back....largely thanks to Nicholas and his Virgin Mojitos...
