"Nice venue with high ceilings and view of Royal Opera house, although downstairs looks a little cramped, so I would ask for upstairs table. Pizza was tasty (spicy as requested) and my partner's fish was cooked properly. Having ordered pudding, I had to ask when it was coming I think the staff realised they had forgotten to put the order thru : it arrived very quickly afterwards and the waitress apologised for the delay explaining that we would not be charged for the pudding. Basically, the problem was dealt with efficiently, so we increased our tip to show our gratitude."

"The service at this restaurant was absolutely awful. It was nearly impossible to get the staff's attention. It took way too long to order drinks, and even longer in the evening to order food. We waited forever for our food to come, and when it finally did, it was nothing to write home about. We had to ask for the bill four times, and at the end, we had to stand up and practically beg for it. Overall, the service was unacceptable."

"Edit one year on. Sat eve, 8pm. Nearly empty restaurant. Last year gave 4 stars....this year struggled to give 2. So what was different? Staff: mostly ok. .just ok. If you are not ready to order then expect a long wait as they forget to return...both for ordering drinks and food. Had to locate someone. Not offered parmesan. Had to ask for pepper as well and waitress said i will try to find some then hunted round the other tables until she located one. Then- there seemed to be a volunteer working there- baggy grey t shirt and old jeans hanging halfway down his bottom.......but omg! Was he actually the manager? Complaints/comments not responded to except see below in food review. Food- just average. The cheese dip starter was just a cheese sauce- no better than I put on my homemade lasagne. Pasta with meatballs- husband struggled to find 3 meatballs. Crab canneloni- tasteless, pappy...ate only one. Courgette fritti...no courgette.....i did mention this and was told it 's hard to find ....so i picked up several random pieces of fried batter and none had courgette in . No feedback from kitchen or manager. On paying when asked if all ok i mentioned it again and they said oh that 's a shame. That was it!! Two good things- beer glass was chilled and the organic wine (i dont usually do organic) was super. Won 't be returning in a hurry. Food is great here. Service friendly. Doesn 't matter what they do to this space it never quite works.....noisy and unwelcoming- hard to hear eachother speak. Certainly not a cosy, couples type place. Prezzo across the road has nice booths but terrible food and service."

"Lovely waitress, but despite being aware of the Concert at the SSE Arena the restaurant was short staffed. We booked as we were attending the Concert. Arrived at 6.25 pm, starters arrived at 7.10 pm, we then had to ask them to hurry with the main course as we thought we might miss the start of the Concert (one of the Mains was a salad). At no time we were advised of the 45 minute delay for food. No toilet paper in the ladies lavatory."

"We booked a table and on entering the restaurant were told there was a 45 minute delay, we had booked to go to the cinema based on the times we wanted to eat only 3 kitchen staff on this is the second time it has happened and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. I ordered a King Prawn Linguine which cost over £13 and had only 5 prawns in it not very good value for money at all!!"

"I have really hunted a few pasta and the lens-wastu option here seen on this app so that we went to zizzi. we said we were vegan and that was all in order, we used the app to make our order. but the only vegan pasta dish was on the paper menu, but not on the app. we asked the workers who let us know that it was not available today and in the last days. a bit disappointed that this was not mentioned earlier when we set ourselves up, as I would have preferred to try somewhere else, as I really believed a big bowl pasta! but we had our drinks at this point, so we had pizza. unfortunately the worst vegan pizza I had. far too much vegan cheese they would bite down and feel that everything in their mouth squish, as there was only too much of it. I usually like vegan pizza, but that was just not nice. I couldn't eat much of it. a bit disappointed and was still eaten pasta "

"I made a reservation for 5 PM, and while the starter arrived fairly quickly, the main course didn't come out until 6:10. With the movie starting at 6:45, we didn't have enough time to enjoy a second course or even a coffee. "So wife and I thought Zizzi sutton would be a good choice to eat but I was soooo wrong. Restaurant was not busy inside, maybe 12 ppl max. We ordered 2 starters, squid and bruchette, took 35 mins to get them. Squid was tough to chew and the tomatoes on the bruchette were rubbery to bite, not a good start. We then had to wait another 35 mins b4 our mains arrived. During this the waitresses were milling around the cooks counter sorting out the orders for deliveries time and time again, paying no attention to the customers on the tables. Not once did they come over to ask if we wanted another drink or say sorry for the delay. Only interested in getting the deliveries out. Having spent 1hr 50 mins in there we decided not to have dessert n coffee. A young family sat at a table next to us and it took them 50 mins to get mains. Obviously staff need to prep the orders for deliveries but not at the expense of sitting customers and they need to be more attentative. Won't visit again or recommend Zizzi Sutton. Poor service"

"I'm vegan and chose Zizzi's because they have a vegan menu. The food was great the vegan option being really thoughtful and delicious and the other pizzas and pasta very good. But it's the service that makes the difference, the manager was exceptional spending time talking about other vegan establishments in Brighton and making us feel so welcome. A great place for an evening meal."

"We visited Harborne Kitchen for the lunch service on Friday. The staff were very welcoming as soon as we entered and we were offered drinks straight away while we waited for our table. Once seated we were presented with the menu options, from which we chose the 5 course menu. Each and every course was fantastic, with ingredients that I wouldn't dream of putting together. Chicken liver parfait with white chocolate and strawberry, absolutely stunning. Don't expect your visit to be quick, as you have lots of time to enjoy the food and drinks. We spent just over 3 hours in the restaurant for 5 courses. I would highly recommend a visit, we loved it and will be back."

"First of all the vegan Rainbow Lasagne was really good. But calling it 'award-winning ' and with a price of £15 I actually expected something better. I mean it was a good lasagne but not really more than that. But maybe it 's just me. Perhaps I should be grateful to be able to eat a vegan lasagne at all I was a little disappointed by the bruschetta though. The taste only came from the pesto und wasn 't that convincing. But all in all they do have some vegan options that are definitely good but a little expensive for what they are."

"there are unfortunately no tonne vegan options in farnham, but zizzi has covered them. they have a special vegan menu consisting of a few pizzas, desserts, antipasti and a few others dressed. I have heard great things about their vegan pizzas, I think they use mozzarisella for cheese, but I was super excited to try the lentil ragu, which was so super beautiful! I really enjoyed it, although it is a bit expensive, they get a huge part. the farnham zizzi is really busy, so it gets quite loud in the evening, but I would go back defo to try more items on their menu."

"Not the best visit we’ve had at this Zizzi’s. We visited on a Thursday evening at 8pm, so relatively quiet. The bar staff were stood around talking whilst we were waiting for drinks. The starters were really great so we were expecting the mains to be of the same quality, but this wasn’t the case. We asked for 2 items to be left out of one of our mains, after waiting about 30 minutes the waitress said that the chef accidentally added the item and asked whether it was ok for me to eat it rather than him making a new one. I personally don’t think this should have even been a question, it should have been re made without me needing to know. The main came out and was clearly very strong in chilli (this was the item I asked to be left out) and turns out there was loads of chillis in there and not just a few like they said. This completely ruined my main. The meatballs in the calzone didn’t seem fully cooked, and typically ever since we have both felt unwell. We’ve both had this main before and it was completely different and no way near as big or as much filling as usual. The waitress at the start was really helpful, but towards the end she was seeming to slack and not give as good service like she did the start. We originally went in the restaurant wanting desert also, but due to the poor quality of the mains we decided not to. Overall we were really looking forward to a long due date night, but the food wasn’t up to standards and we won’t be returning sadly."

"Visited here Sunday 06/02/2022 for Sunday lunch we chose a bottle of red wine from the drink’s menu placed on the table 19 crimes at £14.5 0. I went to the bar with the drinks menu in hand and ordered the wine the barman disappeared...and came back with the wine uncorked and two glasses and said £16.50 I pointed to the price shown on the menu the barman just said no due to the six nations today was an event day and the prices are increased. As the bottle had already been opened I felt obligated to buy it I feel robbed and cheated as there were no signs up stating prices were increased due to the six nations or the fact that the barman could see I was ordering from the drinks menu that had been purposely placed on the table but didn’t inform me about any change in pricing at the point of ordering I can now understand why the pub was so empty on a Sunday lunchtime if this is how O’Neill’s scam their customers"

"the baker street area has many restaurants throughout the spectrum, with tussauds near, the londoner zoo not so far away and hungry tourist streams. zizzi is medium. it is great and friendly to fit with a large menu and to arrange an inventive menu of Italian and near-Italian. table through the window keep less noise than in the middle. my bufala caprese was garnished imaginatiw with basilikum, and the mozzarella was abundant. the dead came out of the island wight. my companion was taken very much with the huge olives, do not grub up. they followed with a porcini dish and made it satisfying. my pasta had pulled into her venison, which was a first where I was concerned, and there was a lot of it. it is a relaxed place and a perfect place to watch the trubel of the paddington street. the montepulciano did not end the meal. Yeah, I was very happy with that."

"It's nice and cosy inside, staff are friendly and they've had a vegan menu for a while. I really enjoyed vegan Ragu, but I must say that I am not a fan of the vegan pizza, the vegan cheese is tasteless and very very oily. They sometimes put way too much of it, killing all the flavour and making it so oily it's inedible. Most mozzarella alternatives don't taste great that's why there should be a small amount of it on a pizza but more veggies and oregano (unless you have a great home made cheese like purezza does)."

"We arrived a liitle early for our 'after the rugby ' meal but this was no problem even though the 2 old ladies at our original window table were not finished with it. The staff found us another (by the kitchen) and made us very welcome. The restaurant was quite busy with a large group, families and couples but the staff coped well. The food came quickly and my classic funghi pizza was better than I 've had at Pizza Express and my husband 's rustica primavera pizza left no room for dessert. Very enjoyable, good value for money, will definitely go back. Was able to book this restaurant on top table even though the restarant booking system said it was full."
