"Looking for a bite to eat at Frankfurt Airport? Look no further - this place is a hidden gem. While it may be a bit tricky to find within the airport complex, it is well worth the search. Serving up authentic Munich cuisine and beer in a slightly basic airport environment, it is a must-visit. I will definitely be returning when passing through FRA again."

"Excellent food and really friendly staff. Great environment to be. We went for my daughters birthday they brought her dessert out with candles in it and sang happy birthday to her, she was over the moon. Thankyou very much"

"We stopped in to this lovely pub/restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch on our way through. We received a lovely welcome on walking in through the door even though we weren't locals and it was our first time. I ordered Roast Beef and my husband had the cold ham, egg and chips. Both dinners were lovely. I haven't had such a delicious roast dinner for a very long time. Not only were the vegetables freshly cooked, the beef a good cut, it was also piping hot which makes a change these days. Absolutely delicious and if we lived nearer it would become a local for us. Both the owner and a staff member came up and chatted with us which was so friendly. Bring back service like this everywhere please, sadly it has been lost over the years. A very good experience. Would recommend highly."

"Despite changing owners, the Fuggerei is a real institution of the higher class. The food is traditionally German-Swibian, but in gourmet style and the atmosphere is also very classic and beautiful. The location in the middle of the city center and not far from the mosquito make a fuggerei visit easy to become a medieval experience."

"Food good when they eventually sort out the correct order. Ordered white wine, came with red not a good start. When we turned up advised no Sunday left, which we did come for, fair enough under circumstances but would not have come if we knew this prior. Starters ok and tasty, main course came not as per the menu, salmon not as mentioned, menus stated white wine and garlic sauce, turned up covered in tomato, not the best for someone who can’t stand taste of tomato. This was rectified although parent finished his by time it was received but not the point, if comes with tomato state this one on the menu. Desert nice but service, well where do we start only 3 tables with people on trying to obtain the bill so we can leave, can not get any service, please what would it be like when it is busy. Under the current circumstances it really is not good especially when they are talking right beside you, 3 staff only 1 working, very disappointing, will take a lot to come back her, sport to say"

"Genuinely superb. Thank goodness we came here. Completely different place since they got rid of the buffet. Food absolutely delicious and service from Dipak and the team was GREAT. Deserved to be really busy. Good range of food all reasonably priced. One of our party was having a birthday and was made to feel really special. OVERALL SUPERB!"

"Many thanks for providing us with a great evening for our Christmas Party in the Hampshire Room on Saturday evening. The stairs and the room were beautifully decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The organisation and the serving went seamlessly. There was a decent gap between courses. The food was truly delicious. Apparently the lamb was superb. My sea bass was really nicely cooked, and the flavours tasty. The gluten free choices were outstanding. That guest was amazed at the extent of choice. All 31 guests were full of compliments, and I didn’t hear anything negative. I considered that the cost of the night were reasonable and good value for money. The house wines were perfectly drinkable. It was helpful that there was flexibility in the choice of colour of wine, so that we were able to swap colours if we wished. You were willing to let my husband play his guitar to the guests and we had a lovely singsong. I hope we didn’t bother the guests downstairs! The disco proved popular at the end. I have every intention of booking the room again for next year’s Christmas party! Many thanks to Nikki and the team. Fiona"

"Good honest tasty food in a traditional country pub, would highly recommend. The steak pie is unbelievably tasty and very meaty, perfect puff pastry and with the best chips ever, The gammon steaks are great with 2 sizes available suited our group. A good choice of deserts, especially the trifle and the sticky toffee pudding sundae. The staff were friendly and professional, from the hosts to the waiting staff, who were constantly on the go, keeping busy serving food and keeping the tables clean. One of the waiting staff did a great job with our desserts. Ps the drinks were spot on, beer is good too. If your out and about in the lune valley or nearby, it's worth popping in but would recommend booking a table. Will definitely be going back!"

"Decided to book after many good reviews on Tripadvisor. When booked, told they could squeeze me in at 6:00. After arriving at 6:00, it was empty until the next customers arrived at 7:00!Well, what to say about the decor?? Doesn 't look like it had been decorated since 1972, with wallpaper hanging off the ceiling above the bar and brass light fittings that looked as tired and dirty as the carpet! Whatever you do, do not visit the toilet grim, grim, grim!!Food was mediocre, and charged £91.00 for 2 plus a child!!Owner was snatching empty plates off our table like Basil Fawlty and needs to work on his hosting skills. Overall, fealt like we were eating in somebody 's grubby front room. No idea what the good reviews are about, all I can say is that people are easily pleased. If this is Bridlington 's finest, God help the rest of them!!"

"I've been to Martin's place twice now and have not been at all disappointed. The ambience and the customer service is first class. There's a personal feel to the restaurant and very cosy. The steak was to die for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but you have to book in advance as it's very popular. Thank you for you kindness and attention to your customers."

"Another night another pub this time our choice was The Mariner in Kippford. Seat in the garden overlooking the water and enjoying the evening sun, food and drinks ordered and quick game of cards with the girls before our food arrived and despite it being really busy not long to wait. This dog friendly pub have lovely food which tasted fantastic all made from fresh produce and even the puddings went down a storm. Everything was tasty and plentiful portion sizes and reasonable priced and well worth the visit."

"Excellent! I had a terrific experience here. Food was appealing to the eye and very flavorful. Service was top notch in fact, the restaurant got slammed by a party of 20 mid week (and w/o a tremendous number of staff on duty) and didn 't miss a beat. Dining room is modern and the tables are well spaced. A perfect place for a business or romantic dinner. My only quibble is that it was unclear the restaurant is on the 7th floor. I was standing by the host stand downstairs for more than 5 minutes wondering when a host or hostess would come to the stand, and only after my wait did someone from staff inquire if they could help. When I told them I was looking for Angler, they pointed to the elevator bank and pointed 'upstairs. ' Some sort of signage (or a better trained host(ess) downstairs) would be helpful, esp for a Michelin starred establishment."

"cozy location and atmoshere, in a beautiful village. friendly attentive staff. there were two menus, the first is a regular pub menu that, to be honest, the dishes served were quite plentiful and appetit and well presented. the second menu was tapas, of which I was not sure, would feed hungry fat young, as there are two of them in me. we decided to give both menus the opportunity to prove themselves. order two dishes from the tapas menu as starter, then a main page from the more conventional English pub menu. that had done a great selection of things. the tapas portions were not to be sneaked, as they were almost a meal in themselves. we had the paprika and the meatballs, made to house and perfect light crimped and very tasty. the cordon bleu chicken filled with ham and cheese, was homemade and not processed to cook in a bag so often found in these days. it was served with a plentiful mixed fresh and crunchy salad with a light dressing and a bowl skin, skin on crispy frying, which were still fluffy in the middle and dry, not to see or taste an ounce oil. very good price-performance ratio, high load this dog-friendly device. if their boots are muddy, then boat covers are also provided on the door."

"Young chap with blonde hair (don't know his name) behind the bar was very nice. We went 2 nights in succession, once in the restaurant, once in the bar area. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was a tv which was thankfully off and background music which was just that, so good for us. It was tastefully decoated and furnished. Overall ambience of upmarket and quality. The weather was abominable and we went at night so can't comment on the outside. We didn't use the toilets. We would certainly return."

"My family and I have just eaten in this restaurant and we all agree it was absolutely outstanding. We were a party of 15 and literally nothing was too much trouble. We had a mix of starters and mains, including halloumi fries, potato skins and bruschetta. Plus pollo cordon bleu, sirloin steak, plaice and pizzas. Everything was served hot and with a smile and all the food was delicious. I was really impressed that all of the food came out promptly and at the same time and drink orders were taken throughout the meal. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and I will be recommending this place and 100% visiting again."

"Excellent food, wonderfully cooked. Not cheap but the quality of the food is definitely worth it. Very relaxing place to eat, really good music in the background as well. The hake with Thai corn chowder was wonderful. My daughter loved the deconstructed baked cheesecake. Really accommodating with my son's allergies as well."

"My Wife and I went for a meal on Wed 12th June around 4.30pm, both our meals were just excellent and the service was really fast, we just couldn't fault it and all at an incredibly low price, we will certainly be going again soon ! The only one small down side was that the room temperature is always cold in this pub, we have complained over many years about it but nothing is ever done, but it's worth putting up with for the food quality and service"

"The New Inn came highly recommended as the best Steaks Restuarant around and we were not disappointed. This is an old pub steeped in history and the staff greet you with warmth and alcohol. There is a varied menu and the protions are plentiful . We had the Fillet steak and it was excellent, we asked if it was possible for a pepper sauce but were told it was not required and I was so glad I listened to that advice, succulent steaks that melted away cooked to perfection and didn't need anything to accompany it only my knife and fork. It was complimented by a very nice Malbec. Superb recommendation, not to be missed."

"We stayed for two nights, I wish it could have been four! We went on staffa tours and visited Tobermory distillery. Both were wonderful. But the best part of our visit was Highland Cottage and our wonderful hosts. Rooms were well appointed and very clean, although mattresses were a bit old. Still we rested very comfortably. The honor bar and living rooms were a great way to relax in a beautiful setting. However the highlight was our food. Dinner was incredible. The best food we've had in Scotland, and well worth the hefty price tag of 42 pounds each for a multi course meal. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return one day. Highly recommended!!!"

"Summary : From what started from us asking the awning be extended so that we do not get drenched, the owner not only refused to do so but told me to use my brain , called me an idiot, said that I don 't have a brain and then proceeded to use the F word. He then stalked us to the next restaurant we went to down the street and snatched the menu from the hands of one of the women in the group and told the waitress not to take our order. The owner is a very unstable person. While from other reviews the food is presumably good and one of the persons in our group also vouched for that from their previous experience, avoid the place if you do not want to risk spoiling your lunch or dinner. I sent this review to the restaurant and gave them more than 24 hours to let me know if something here is not according to how they remember the events but they have not responded as of writing this review. Full Version Our group ordered pizzas to go while it was quite pleasant and sunny. After 30 minutes of waiting, they said it would take another 10 minutes. By that time the weather had turned quite rainy and we asked if we could convert the order to dine in since their delay had cost us the opportunity to sit at Regent 's park and eat. The head waitress seemed to grudgingly agree and asked us to sit outside. We requested one of the waitresses to extend the awning so as not to have us get drenched. She obliged cheerfully. Then we were surprised to see the awning being pulled in again. On inquiring, the main waitress told me that there was some rod they had extended under the awing for some purpose and that it wouldn 't be able to take the weight. I asked her if she expected us to get drenched eating, especially when it was clearly their fault for delaying the 'to go ' order. I told her that that behavior was unacceptable and ridiculous and that they would get bad reviews from all of us if we were treated that way. At this point, the owner called me inside and then I had a surreal experience. First he outright lied that the awning could not go further to which I responded that one of his waitresses had put it a foot further before it was pulled back. Caught in a white lie, he proceeded to say the same thing about the rod not being able to take the weight (which it clearly was able to 5 min ago assuming the awning was even resting on it). Then he proceeded to say use your brain . I have seldom encountered such a crass and ill mannered person and definitely not in the hospitality industry. I told him that that kind of language is unacceptable and furthermore that he could rest assured that I use my brain since I am a theoretical physicist and a machine learning engineer. I further countered that it is in fact he who ought to use his brain. At this point he completely lost it and called me an idiot, said that I don 't have a brain and said something with the F word but I can 't quite remember if it was name calling or telling me to F off. Normally, one would think the story would end here since I just paid for our coffees and we left the place for another pizzeria. As luck would have it, we ended up at Pesantissimo across the street. While we were about to order, the same guy showed up and snatched the menu out of the hands of one of the women in our group and told the waitress not to take our order. This is the absolute worst restaurant and I would advise people to avoid it at all costs. There are plenty of other restaurants on the street that have great food and that do not have such an unstable and ill mannered management."
