I wanted to share my experience at your establishment, The Allegory, located at 1a Principal Place, Worship Street, London, EC2A 2FA. Unfortunately, my partner and I found our meals to be quite disappointing. My partner's chicken skewers arrived lukewarm and seemed stale, as though they had been sitting out for a while or were reheated. I ordered the vegan taco as a starter, but it was unbearably spicy, making it difficult for me to enjoy the meal afterwards. I question whether it should have been that spicy. For my main course, I chose the vegan curry, which was also lukewarm and unappetizing. I managed to take a few bites but felt embarrassed to leave most of it uneaten, so I requested to take it with me. However, when I exited the restaurant, I was still hungry. Given the total of £42.75, I felt the price was quite steep for a meal that we did not enjoy. I have heard wonderful things about your restaurant and wonder if our experience was just an off day. We were genuinely disappointed in our culinary experience and I felt it was important to provide this feedback. Additionally, I would like to inquire if there might be a possibility of a reimbursement. "Have been here before, and it's a great location, with a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed a few weisbeers and some tasty food with a couple of old friends on a pleasant Friday evening. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, even when asking us to move to another table to finish our drinks outside after we'd eaten, so they could prepare the table for the next service. One of our waiters followed up within a couple of minutes to return my phone to me which I'd left on my chair, which was very much appreciated. Will definitely come back again, and recommend it."

"My partner and I went for a coffee yesterday. We sat outside and my partner went in to order, only to be told that the restaurant was closing. It was full of customers all being served. Confused, I then went in, and suddenly as a white women (my partner is a black, African man) it was ok for me to order drinks. The woman who refused to serve my partner was clearly being racist, and looking at other reviews of Cafe Rouge in Greenwich, this is not the first time this has happened. This is disgusting!!!! It's 2023 and this s**t is still happening. There are laws against this kind of discrimination. Cafe rouge, you should be ashamed."

"A restaurant that has been recommended a couple of times by different friends, and one which we have been to a few times for our fix of good Chinese food. On this occasion we treated my Partner 's nephew and niece (a fussy eater) to a meal in China Town (in the big city of London). All enjoyed good food, with decent servings, in a restaurant decorated in typical Chinese restaurant style. They were happy to pack up the leftovers for us to take home. The service was punctual and efficient, but it cannot be described as friendly (it is not unfriendly). Attempts at conversing with the staff were rebuffed. We did requested chopsticks with rubber bands for the children, and these were supplied after a delay, but no offer of help to show the children how to use chopsticks. We would go again, as we enjoyed the food and as I said the service was efficient and punctual."

"So, we revisited J Sheekey having last been just before the lockdown. We wanted it to be as good...we were not disappointed. We had the most incredible experience dining here. Yes the food was utterly delicious, but we were welcomed in by the team and were lucky enough to have Sorida (I really hope I have spelt that right) as our main waitress. She was serving in the furthest restaurant area to your right as you walk in, lunchtime on the 30th of December. And she is a STAR. We loved her smiley ways, she was warm and friendly and all her food recommendations were bang on. The starters were incredible, potted shrimp for some and tiger prawns for others....the mains of a halibut in a champagne sauce, the curry, and the fish and chips were amazing....and the puddings were to die for. Along with a couple of bottles of Whispering Angel. The team who brought the food to us had the same warm attitudes, and Luca the manager was also so warm and friendly, along with Antonio. But our main star was the food, the atmosphere and our lovely waitress. That is what will make us return again. My lovely Mum said that in her 82 years she has never enjoyed a restaurant visit as much as she enjoys this one. It's a tough ask J Sheekey, but please be as good when we return for the next time too! Thank you to all the team on the day, everything was wonderful."

"this is a beautiful restaurant, rather similar to a raised French brasserie. there is a sitting area outside. there is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu and I ordered from it. I loved eating that I had. it was easy, but delicious. for the starter I had a pea and nice suppe, then for a main course I had the baked miso aubergine. as dessert I ordered the mandel panna cotta. the service was good, although our waiter was sometimes somewhat abrupt. all the others were very friendly. this place changes their menu depending on the season, so hopefully they will also contain some new vegan options in the future. pricely, it was not too bad, but it is the kind of place where she would probably go for a contract."

"There aren't many places that you can sit outside, upstairs or downstairs in a cafe, but Fresh has all three. The only downside to seating outside is that you are right next to s small pub and people often stand just outside and smoke. They have a computer for internet access, and every time I have been here, the staff are lovely, also one of the rare places you can get soy milk and a decent vegetarian choices."

"Bad experience, the worst in London and for me it is very rare because I I am very attentive when I choose a cocktail bars or restaurants. I came with my husband last Wednesday and we definitely decided to not come back again. We lost time , a lot of time and money and after that , we opted for anothr cocktail bar nearby, beter experience in terms of customer service. We popped in, none approached us, none greated us, none believes in the importance of Eye Contact especially when you are busy, understaffed and customer has to wait. Obviously we can but just try to encourage us to hold. We had the feeling that they had enough with customers at 6:30pm. After a lot of time, we sat at the bar , we waited a lot for 2 easy cocktails, loud music, we could not talk each other, we left as soon as we finished our drinks. We did not see the Big Group there is behind this venue. From what we experienced I believe that just regulars customers are treated well so that's why they get some (not all of them) nice reviews. I also do not like the robotic way to reply to the bad reviews, like if you do not care about what we say as customers ,so please do not do it. You opened a terrace in the sqare, spring time just came and you do not have staff?"

"Harrods is a must do experience if you are visiting London. It is an awesome shop to look around and its huge. It’s window displays change frequently and are spectacular. It will take a few hours to have a proper look around but even looking around the ground floor you can browse a huge range of designer high-end handbags, jewellery, make-up and at the back of the shop the amazing food hall. Even if you have no intention of buying you will be pleased you visited. Upstairs the furniture areas are spectacular, and the shop is full of small cafes and bars to take a rest stop. You won’t find any bargains here and certainly you will probably pay a small amount extra for the same item v elsewhere but Harrods is about the spectacular shopping and browsing experience. This visit I only visited on this visit was the ground floor (as per photos) but I love all the floors here and often stop near the toy department at the frozen yogurt counter for a chill (and that place is nearly always fairly quiet and you can get a seat)."

"I’m afraid we all found the restaurant to be average at best. Some of the food was good the rest mediocre really. The waitress hardly appeared and took ages to get our drinks initially and again later although she was pleasant when with us. We only found out about the specials as we left and happened to see the board. It wasn’t pointed out to us. Hardly anyone else in there when we were there, maybe 2 or 3 tables and we were put in the far corner so it was very quiet with no atmosphere really. Overall a disappointing night in terms of venue and so would not return unless it was nearer to christmas when you would expect a livelier atmosphere. Sorry! Was expecting more!"

"I love Greek cuisine. I have eaten here multiple times and celebrated my birthday here with a party of 4. Located just of Marylebone high street, the street is not too quiet and not too busy, it’s just right, located on a corner plot the restaurant gets lovely daylight through the glass if you’re eating in the evening in the summer and it compliments the decor inside. The decoration, fixtures and fittings are gorgeous giving a warm and cool feeling at the same time with the copper colours and metallic/wood fixtures. They have a long central, high chair dining table and normal tables for 2 and 4 people, I have dined on the high chairs for small meals, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner as it gets uncomfortable. This place pushes Greek cuisine into the modern day with its contemporary tapas-style dishes. The staff are really friendly and there when you need them and when you don’t need them you won’t notice or be disturbed by them. This is a high-end Greek restaurant, I feel like it belongs in Mayfair however I admire the fact of their choice of location as I believe where Opso will be they stand out and don’t need to rely on a location for reputation. The menu is a little small, However, I appreciate it as it allows them to focus more on what is available and make it to perfection. The menu had a balanced variety and I honestly believe you will be happy with any of the dishes. The aesthetic presentation of the food is wonderful, awesome for taking pictures. The food is delicious I shan’t comment further, it speaks for itself. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, they facilitate well, they brought me a lovely slice of cake on a glass platter with my name written in chocolate sauce and candles and they brought it over and I had my 15mins of fame at Opso, they made me the centre of attention. Cocktails: They have good bartenders and I’m always left feeling satisfied (that’s what she said) lol. Booking is a fairly easy process however they do get busy quick as they are in demand so plan. Pricing, I find it very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. When I take my wife here I spend between 100-140 for starters, mains, small desserts and cocktails. I have and will be eating here again."

"Upon arrival, we found ample parking and a beautifully set table by the window with stunning views. Starters were served promptly, with high praise for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The mains, including the Three Lakes Burger, were delicious and satisfying. The vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free members of our group were equally impressed with their meals. Desserts were a delightful end to the meal, with the option to take leftovers home in provided doggy boxes. The attentive staff checked in throughout the meal, offering great service and a friendly atmosphere. Afterward, we enjoyed drinks on the outdoor veranda, soaking in the lovely weather and views. Overall, our 4 1/2-hour meal was relaxed and enjoyable, thanks to the excellent service from Alex, Kerry, Jemma, and Charly. Many in our party, who had not been to the restaurant before, were pleasantly surprised by the hidden gem. Everyone agreed to return for future visits. The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and polite, making my son's birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you to all at The Three Lakes for a fantastic experience."

"Food was sub standard. Ordered the ginger and chill crab and cod cakes with a sweet corn relish type of thing. Couldn’t taste any chilli or ginger. Cod wasn’t fresh and over cooked. Sweet corn relish was so sweet it couldn’t been a dessert. Staff weren’t naturally warm and friendly. Polite but wooden. Sat inside (first day of covid regulations being relaxed) and it was freezing. Other diners had thick winter coats on whilst eating. Whole place lacked atmosphere. £80 for 2 people, 2 course with half bottle of wine. Not worth it at all. Had a latte pre food. Tasted like a sachet!! Awful. Would not recommend and will not be back. Didn’t bring it up whilst there as was celebrating a friends birthday and didn’t want to sour her day. Very poor Cowley Manor. Do better!!"

"at the beginning I chose this restaurant from a friend's recommendation. to be fair, the experience was like riding a rollkoaster. and here is the reason. very satisfied with the service, although the steak was not cooked until medium. However, managers and employees were extremely friendly and very many like by having a whole new court back with, even though I said I will keep the old ones. what surprised me was the offer at the end when they whispered in the house. "my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"

"My boyfriend and I went to Chapters for dinner to celebrate his birthday as Chapters was, we thought, the only decent restaurant left in Blackheath. All the others seem to be sliding downhill rapidly. We have been to Chapters many times in the past and the food and service has been good We did not have a starter and ordered a main meal only (black bream and pork belly) as we weren't hugely hungry due to eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! We had a glass of wine and were offered a piece a of bread. minutes later we were still waiting for our food. In that time no one came to ask if we were OK or to offer us more drinks. I asked the manager when our food might be ready. He said it would be minutes without offering any explanation of the delay then disappeared minutes later there was still no sign of the food or the manager. Therefore, we decided to leave as we had completely lost any interest in eating there anymore. We got up to leave and the manager came over. He told us the delay was due to a big party downstairs. This was not the case, there was a group of people who had long finished their meal. We have been there before when it was much busier and the service was not this bad. While were waiting we saw a customer who had finished their meal slipping into the managers hand as he was leaving. Maybe the staff require bribery to give good service It such a shame yet another Blackheath restaurant has become complacent and thinks they can get away with treating their customers without any respect. I for one will be voting with my feet and will not be eating in this restaurant again. I will also be letting everyone I know not to go there"
