We danced the night away with good drinks and good vibes. I will definitely be coming back here again! (Especially if that DJ does another event)."

"Previously known as the Badgers Rest, this pub located in the suburbs has a charming rural vibe, as it is surrounded by spacious grounds that feature a Beer Garden in the summer and a large car park. It also has a 19-room hotel that is part of the Innkeepers Lodge network. The food at this establishment is expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with an ever-expanding menu that offers a diverse selection of dishes. The service here has consistently been top-notch in my experience. The only small complaint I have is that the selection of Real Ales could be improved."

"Let’s start with the food... we had dinner for 3 and I must say we all loved our food. We had the squid, tenderloin, chicken and vegetarian pasta. All the dishes were cooked as asked and tasted nice. For the wine, we had a bottle of Malbec and it was lovely. The view the view was good, except we weren’t close to the window so didn’t really get the full view. But you can still take it all in. We spend £219 for 3 people including wine. Remember to arrive early to go through security. Don’t try to stop the lifts as it closes on you! And note stick to your booking time if it’s an early sitting."

"I had a wonderful Mother's Day celebration at this restaurant with my mom and sisters. We were initially disappointed when we were seated in a dark and dingy corner and had to use our phone torches to read the menu. The flower on our table was also wilted. However, after speaking with a staff member, we were moved to a brighter table and the rest of the evening was fantastic. The food and service were excellent. We all opted for the special Mother's Day menu, which offered a great selection of dishes over three courses. We all chose the Sirloin of Beef Roast for our main course, which was served with a variety of delicious vegetables and a Yorkshire Pudding. The beef was perfectly cooked. The desserts were also amazing, with options like Apple and Damson Crumble, Lemon Posett, and Sticky Toffee Pudding, all of which were delightful. The staff were friendly, polite, and respectful, providing excellent service throughout the meal. A big thank you to the Pheasant Team for a memorable dining experience."

"The restaurant is housed in a beautiful, historic building with a charming old-world atmosphere. Despite its upscale appearance, the restaurant is not intimidating and provides a relaxing dining experience. My companion and I found ourselves engrossed in conversation for hours, although the service was disappointingly slow, it was impeccable once it arrived. We had to rush to make it to the theatre on time due to the delayed service. The staff quickly accommodated our situation by bringing the bill promptly and removing the cost of the desserts that never arrived. The salmon rillete starter and sea bream main course were both delicious, however, be aware that ordering vegetables with your main will incur an additional cost. The set menu offers good value, but be prepared for premium prices as the cheapest wine by the glass is £12. Overall, the restaurant provides a lovely dining experience, but be mindful of the expense and the slow service."

"It was our second visit to Brampton mill.Both times we had a Sunday roast.The roast this time was not as nice as the first time.My Yorkshire was really burnt to a cinder this time.I did mention it to the waitress when she was collecting the plates.She said yes it does look burnt I am so sorry.I could not eat it. The rest of the roast was nice but overall not as tasty as our first visit."

"Riverside Delight!. Well situated venue, beautiful decor with an upstairs and outside decking with balcony. Ideal spot for an afternoon lunch during the summer and just as good inside in the spacious nicely lit interior. Large menu accomodating most tastes, all with grand titles instead of the bland burger in a bun . Does cater for children but is more enticing to the mature eaters. Food always well prepared and presented and of generous portions. Staff are always welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The team there seem to run a good ship with all the staff providing to the overall feel of the place. Would suggest calling to book in advance if with a group as this place can get busy, however you do have the grand bar for a drink if you don 't mind the wait. Good food, good service and right on the riverside. Strongly recommended for couples or mature family meals."

"This place is outstanding. By Far the Best Pub food (I don't want to call it that cause its at a different level. you can get. The Standard of Food by the chef Yasin was to my opinion at Michelin level. He is a very good chef and it tastes and shows in his food. It was outstanding Beautiful food. Also want to mention Richard,who is an Apprentice. Good luck. Your in the right place to start your Journey into the world of fine dining. We dined for 5 days in a Row. We was made to feel very welcome. The owner was the most beautiful Person and her Staff Carly,Nina. And the rest of the Bar staff waitresses were wonderful polite,helpful. Made us feel like family. I loved every day we went. And we have been back since,returning home. And will definitely return as there are so many dishes we have yet to try. Thank you for making our visits special. "Had dinner here prior to going to the theatre. Glad we booked as busy . Service was efficient meant we had time to share a desert which we were pleased about as when portions of tiramassu passed our table earlier in the evening looked yummy and it was . Also enjoyed an expresso kept me awake well during the performance and on the drive home Not cheap but worth it for the occasional treat. "In general, my experience at the restaurant was positive. However, I have a small complaint. When I called to confirm if the venue was dog-friendly, it wasn't clearly communicated to me that dogs are not allowed in the main restaurant. Besides this misunderstanding, I had a very enjoyable experience."

"The atmosphere is lovely and the view is beautiful, the staff is friendly. The cocktails are good and in a normal price The only thing we did not like is the food. Especially for a French restaurant which should have much better food than other restaurants. The food was tasteless and uncooked properly. The salmon was a bit raw. The risotto did not look fresh and it was uncooked. The asparagus was raw which doesn’t taste good at all. If we decide to go again, it will only be for drinks cocktails and enjoying the view. Not for dinner. Overall we paid for two people, two course menu with nibbles and a cocktail each. This is a reasonable price but it would have been better if the food was nice."

"recently visited on a week night for a family dinner. overall, eating was ok (with taking the Aubergine curry). the service was awfully slow and the supervisor/manager had a real job and was not friendly at all. after a first greeting. we were shown on our table and after a certain waiting ordered our drinks with the superior. one of our parties (old ordered a non-alcoholic apple wine, only to be challenged for id. when we explained that as a child with an adult to eat and order a meal that allowed the law that the year old even have an alcoholic apple wine, and that was only one, he claimed we were wrong and that the spatial license does not allow. we wanted to avoid a argument that we accepted, but when leaving we staged the spatial license at the entrance and noticed that no such condition was bound to the license. it is in order when it comes to business policy (maybe this is the case) but the employee member has been quite lied and created an unnecessary embarrassing situation for all of us. the same person then presented a terrible attitude that makes us feel the most unhappy for the rest of the evening. the drinks that were ordered took the minutes to arrive, and the co-worker who brought them to us began to serve other tables after we had brought only half the drinks we ordered and left the rest on the bar. later in the evening we ordered a bottle of wine that was delivered to us unopened, and it took a few minutes for someone else to come and open it for us (sadly it was not a screw bottle of this place was recommended by two family members who participated in this meal, and they were very disappointed about how the dings turned out (as we were all). to finish everything after we tried, but not to tie all the workers to get the bill, we just had to pay at the cash while our tellers were sitting on the table unclear. obviously the superior had no appreciation for it, as he offered the Dessert menu, as we were about to go and had already paid the bill. it showed a complete ignorance of what was going on in his own restaurant. In summary, the personal can do with some retraining ladders/managers that are very much potential in the service front but difficult to do. would not recommend."

"Went here with family. The servers were awful they seemed poorly trained and didnt know what was going on. Actually, we were practically laughed at when we asked at the front if we could do a walk-in. The food was okay. Had the roast dinner and it seemed slightly fancy with a lot of little nice touches; however, the vegetarian option was not tasty at all and needs work. Given 3 stars because the outside of the pub is really well maintained and sitting next to the river in the sun was amazing."

"Good value and fairly child friendly. the booking was for a different branch, which was quite confusing when we turned up at the Start Katherine docks branch! They accommodated us however which was very kind, esp as we had hungry young children. The service was little slow at times... and the waiter was rather abrupt sometimes... but it was a good value and consistent quality for the food."

"Always loved this pub/restaurant. But they've introduced a new vegan menu so I now have big choice. Five mains/three starters, desserts and sides to choose from. I had harissa hummus with the lavash bread (would return for that alone), a roast butternut squash and sweet potato tart and a side of broccoli. Too full for dessert but they looked great. Mains £7.95 to £11.95. Dinner for two with starters, mains and sides and wine £50. Would definitely recommend"

"All the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and accommodating. Stephen, who served us at the table, was particularly great. The food was superb and arrived promptly. Our youngest son has autism and has an extremely limited diet. Although there were four of us at the table, he never eats and more often than not is largely ignored by restaurant staff. Today he was made to feel an important part of our party by Stephen who was amazing with him. He gets impatient and struggles with lots of things but he was made to feel very welcome, which we were all very grateful for. We all had a great time."

"This was a really disappointing dinner experience. We ordered 2 of the fillet steaks for 42 euro each, medium rare. Both arrived well done. I asked to send my steak back and then waited another 30 minutes while the other guests finished their mains before I got mine. With no apology or no waiter to check and see if everything was okay afterward. We also had to ask for steak knives as we were given no cutlery. The server that was looking after us was chewing gum and really unprofessional. For a dish that costs 42 euro you would expect a much higher standard. We won’t ever be coming back."

"I have always enjoyed eating in white hard, but this last experience was quite sad. we waited for almost an hour for the main meal to come to the table. we sat next to the door that led into the kitchen, so a lot of traffic that went in feet of me, occasional staff joined the door to go through the kitchen, I found that unpleasant. where I sat, the walkway was narrow and other customers beat into my chair and my partner chair. beside us was a rather enthusiastic man on a first date that dominated talk about us. the sadst part was this a meal to celebrate my sonny birthday, his uncle, I and my partner apologized for a disappointing evening. the white hard is a brilliant place to have a meal, but not this at night"

"When I booked the table using your website I had requested a round table as it is more convivial but this was not reserved for us, the staff were apologetic and and gave me a glass of presecco on the house to apologise. The staff were very welcoming and helpful but unfortunatley one of our guests had requested no sundried tomatoes on her pizza and it came with extra sundried tomatoes much to her annoyance as she does not like them and had to pick them off! Again they did offer to change it but she wanted to eat with the rest of us so opted to take them offer herself! Having said all of this I did have a good night and the ambience was very pleasant as were the staff and the 25% off the food voucher we had made us even happier!"
