"POSITIVES The decor was clever, interesting, colourful well thought out. The service was efficient and food we chose was good with a broad menu. Extra touches like putting raspberries in the pink lemonade etc were a nice touch if not a tad expensive for a soft drink. NEGATIVES What let you down was maintenance cleanliness. The floor around bar was very sticky..infact we joked about how our boots stuck to the floor. The glass table infront of fire was filthy..glass needs lifting out to clean it. The light above our table, floor in restaurant, glasses cutlery were unclean. We sent a plate, 2 knives fork back. Suggest better quality tabs for dishwasher careful check before serving as waitress agreed they weren't clean. If you have cleaners they are missing the floors especially under chairs. Small changes and careful checks would help make it a 5 experience."

A good vegan menu for a gastropub, if a little pricey. The service was really good too. We were sat in a strange little side section that was really dark I think as we were just a party of two.

It was my anniversary today and the whole experience was excellent, they went above the norm to make our time special (thank you Fraser and Giuseppe). Great food also. I would definitely recommend and return.

We went at 2pm on a Saturday, nice atmosphere both restaurant and bar area had a relaxed vibe. Would recommend the Nourish bowl and fish and chips! Really delicious and were polite and friendly staff. Would visit again.

Passing through mk, we walked in, . Friendly staff, had a window seat for 2, a little tight on the window seating and the windows seems to be leaking leaving pools of on the ledge. Enjoyed the special of the day. Thanks, see you again. View menu

I absolutely find comfort, and this place, the sofas and chairs, make me feel at home with service! Normally the couch facing the fireplace does it for me. A glass of wine… the King Oyster Mushrooms! I am vegan/vegetarian so this place has yummy foods that are perfect for me. Thanks you Luigi!

I cant speak for the food as I didn't eat there. Its been a long time since I had popped to the Wavendon Arms and thought I would leave a quick review as it was a lovely place to catch up on a Friday after work with colleagues. A very cosy pub with great decor, choice of drinks and atmosphere. 5 stars from me.

Amazing!!! Food was lovely (hallumi fries, mushroom starter,, pork belly, linguine main) all cooked and served to perfection. Our server Polly was friendly and attentive, helpful recommending some wines to us, and even went as far as writing 'happy birthday ' on my mums dessert. It 's the little things... and you 're doing them all right. Thank you for a lovely experience. View menu

The food was good, but the service could be improved. I counted 5 different people that served our table. Some were more friendly than others. We had the Sunday roasts with bottomless gravy. When we asked for some more, twice, we still didn't get any. No one came to see if we were OK, or if we wanted more drinks. I suspect this was due to having 5 different people serve us. I felt a little underwhelmed when leaving.

Lovely lovely place this is! The decor, location atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking on site and outdoor seating was beautiful. The staff were pleasant and the waiting time was not bad at all. The food was good, portion sizes were big and it is quite affordable. I had a king prawn starter which I was hoping would be cooked but wasn't (not anyone's fault just choose the wrong meal lol) The cod fish and chips were good. Plenty of options on drinks and food menu. Check out the pictures! I would recommend and visit again myself

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
