"The kind of experience that ends with you logging on to trip advisor is usally an unpleasant one, warning off potential customers begging them not to make the same mistakes you did But to come on to trip advisor with a positive experience is something which happens so rarely, something really special must have taken place to posses you to invite others to experience the same feelings And that is exactly what happened My girlfriend and I are regular customers at Nandos Stockport branch for one reason and one reason only… Andreas Heath, Andreas is an individual who embodies everything the perfect waiter should carry, he is charismatic, passionate, emotional and respectful, his youthful charm and enthusiasm, matched with those deep, attractive blue eyes is enough to make anyone want to return to this establishment, the thought of being served by Andreas once again is a thought that lingers on my brain before I rest at night. Nandos are on to a winner here, if bringing back the sunset burger was not enough, Nandos hired the very person who passionately persuaded them to do so, his clear love and devotion for Nandos is something that can not being ignored by his customers who are left feeling so welcomed The day Nandos lose Andreas the company will never be the same, his spritely service is something that can not be over looked Josh does a fantastic job as manager, looking the part in his professional and elegant in his managerial uniform, keeping things ticking over confidently My girlfriend and I are left feeling more than satisfied every time We will be returning again"

"Saturday Night prebooked online and paid deposit per person. place was empty only another 3 tables taken, not the most welcoming place initially from the staff didn't look happy. We took our seats then told that we had to order via the APP then it changed to that it would be quicker if we ordered at the bar so that everything came out at the same time. Very strange as all other places you place your order with a waiter, so we ordered at the bar for drinks and mains and was surprised that we had to pay straight away as they are not allowed to have tabs open. Service was slow i could hear the just eat machine constantly beeping and see delivery drivers come and go. When the food did it was disappointing to see the portion sizes have changed and got a lot smaller, not really worth the price. Not once did a member of staff come over to check everything was okay or try to sell more drinks what you'd expect. They looked too busy cutting paper sheets for boxes that they building for takeaway orders, they had few tables at entrance where they had it all sitting on . We ordered deserts and these where extremely disappointing,we ordered 2 meringues nothing like the pictures or what had before was tiny and bottom too hard to eat. 1 cookie jar sundae it was not served in a jam jar as advertised, it was a small glass from the bar. When the deserts where brought to the table we still had all the mains plates sitting that we had to stack up and then ask one the members of staff for them to be taken away so had space to eat deserts not the service you expect. They also automatically add £1 to your bill so every time you order anything that's £1 for a charity i don't mind if you maybe ask first but should never be expected!. Overall the service and experience was the worst dinning experience received we felt that we where an inconvenience to the staff. If they continue to treat customers this way then this place will close, i think they mostly relay on online order which is a bad model for this sort of establishment. i would advise you pick somewhere else other than here and if you try comment on their social media page they will block you thankfully they are unable to do that on here. I have also emailed my concerns before leaving this review but nobody has taken the time to respond in over a month now."

"Posting on behalf of PeterfromSandhurst, who was limited to only review per month. As I was of the people on this visit, I agree with everything that has been said and whole heartedly recommend the Lord Raglan for family visits. On to...the actual review. visit, this time with six people comprising three generations aged (that day) to almost We agreed that we would just keep ordering one or two plates every minute or so and share them so we could all eat the entire menu, a bit at a time. Over hours and plates of food later the results were in, we had eaten the menu! The clear favourite by show of hands (from the little ones and the ladies) was the sticky toffee pudding (no surprises there). Choosing favourites after that was very hard indeed as they were all good. The haddock was excellent with a close dense batter that was both light but substantial (don’t ask me how) and closely hugged the good sized piece of fish. It held heat well, tasted good (both batter and fish) and remained crisp until the last bite despite not rushing to eat it. The chicken (breast pieces in the sharing platter and the smoky spicy thighs dish) were also great. Moist, very tasty but the thighs a tad spicy/smoky for the children (the smoky hit is pretty instant for a kid) but the adults all loved them, the crunchy crusted breast fillets were loved by all. The ribs were moist, delicious, plentiful and fell apart simply by looking at them. The meat board (usually a shared starter) scored highly again with the juicy pork leek sausages beautifully finished with scorched crispy skin just like the very best BBQs can manage but still wonderfully moist inside. Pulled brisket very juicy, still not sure what they use instead of butter but it works perfectly. The Korean chicken burger with kimchi was a hit with my wife (she hadn’t had kimchi before) leaving a nice afterglow without any blast of heat. She just read this and said “The sausages were delicious, I really liked those, next time I go, I am going to have sausage and mash”. Well that’s her bit done. Oh, and by the way, it was steak day (every Thursday it seems), and the steaks come as a package with chips, a sauce choice and a drink (soft or wine etc) at discounted prices, so we had a few of those too. Ordered medium rib eyes, held our breath, and low and behold medium rib eyes arrived (well done chef! And eat your heart out Miller and Carter). So if you are sick to death of places that can’t cook a steak properly, try here. I hadn’t eaten Mac and cheese for years but tried that too and found the cheese was great, had a real intense depth of flavour and lovely grilled crusty edges (that you pick out of your teeth for the next minutes mmmm). If you have the time to spend a few hours mid week with people you love in a quirky but relaxed atmosphere you could do worse than try this tasting menu approach to culinary socialising. The Staff could not have been more accommodating, despite the unconventional nature of our visit. Thank you Beth and Leah, you did an excellent job. I made a couple of remarks on my first visit about how I might improve things if I was permitted to stick my oar in and again. Bang, they had been implemented just two days later. Amazing stuff Lily (boss), you are a star. Any kitchen that consistently turns out dish after dish like this one does, has something going right. See you again soon."

"Really disappointed with this trip. I’ve had better service in a packed branch in London. I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and I can honestly say that this visit nearly ruined his day. Waitresses were miserable and seemed like they couldn’t care less. We waited just over 50 minuets for our food. We watched a table of 4 (who got there after we did) get their food 20-30 minuets before ours. Our order was for one wrap with peri chips and one pita. 3 items. We eventually caved and asked our waitress how long we had to wait and was told ‘if you just ordered mains it should only be 10-20 minuets’ she went to check on our food and miraculously it was ready. Sadly our food was cold. My chips were the only hot item. It was very clear to us that the wrap and pita had been sitting there waiting for a side of chips. Our waitress avoided coming over to us and ignored our attempts to call her over. She never once came to check on us and see how our food was, but was checking on tables who had food. We spoke with another waitress and my boyfriend told her his pita was cold because we had waited 50 minuets for our food. She replied with ‘yeah??’ I thought the way in which she said that was rude. We explained that we were fine waiting if our food would have been hot but it’s cold. We waited 50 minuets before asking how much longer it would be, just for it to come out cold. She said she could get us another pita in 2 minuets, which to her credit she did, but it had us wondering why our order took so long in the first place. I didn’t bother with my wrap. I was hungry so just ate it as is. The waitress told me that the wraps often go cold quickly anyway due to the sauces put inside. Which.. is not true. I’ve ordered the wrap before many times and have never received it cold. It was cold because we waited so long. Another lady next to us complained about the wait time which lead to cold food so clearly food isn’t coming out in a timely manner. Really disappointed with the snooty attitude and the time in which it takes food to come out. No apology for the long wait or cold food. Luckily we stopped by McDonald’s for (hot) fries and ice cream to save the evening before heading to cineworld. Won’t be coming back here again. Place wasn’t even busy. London stores have better and faster service."
