A really lovely pub and extremely friendly owners. The pubs really nicely done out inside and is clean and welcoming. We were staying in our van in the carpark which was great. Lovely walks near by.

Today, our fantastic group was served an excellent meal by the friendly and helpful staff at The Oak in Kingshill. The chef was kind and even came to chat with us after our meal. The plum sorbet was absolutely delicious.

Very good Sunday lunch here today. They kindly squeezed us in, short notice. Lovely buzzing vibe with very efficient staff. The roast pork was really good served with a great selection of home cooked veg. Nice to be back.

I highly recommend The Oaks in Kingshill, Dursley for their delicious food. I started with the amazing scallops, followed by a slow-boiled pork belly roast, and finished with a lovely strawberry trifle. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone seeking delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. Thank you!

As a couple we have just enjoyed another special dining event atThe OakatKingshill. Consistently good cooking is enhanced by regular special events. This evening’s focus was a Caribbean evening. The menu included fried salt fish,curried crab, prawn gumbo, pork ribs curry goat, jerk chicken rice and peas and corn on the cob with optional extra sides and a choice from two desserts. My first visit to this restaurant left me satisfied, with a full stomach of delicious food and ale. They offer a variety of real ales that are well-maintained, and the menu is original and enticing. I opted for the smoked salmon flatbread from the lunch menu, which was flavorful and well-prepared. The chef clearly knows what he's doing. The staff were attentive and accommodating, especially considering our group of ten. The interior was nicely decorated, but the garden could use some upkeep, as could the car park. The kids' playground is a nice touch for families. The prices are average but worth it for the quality of the food. Overall, a pleasant experience.
