"Used this Chinese for years. Unfortunately since it has changed to new management the prices have gone up but the quality has gone right down. Ordered tonight and ended up having to return some of it, the food i did eat was bland. Prawn crackers are terrible now with a weird after taste. Also was over charged but didnt realise until i checked the menu. Real shame as i used to love this Chinese."

"We have visited this restaurant a few times and highly recommend the Hot and Sour Soup, Spring Rolls, Mongolian Beef, Salt and Pepper Chicken, and Bean Curd with mixed Vegetables. The noodle side dishes were also delicious, with generous portions that we should have probably shared! The restaurant was clean and tidy, although slightly worn out. The staff were friendly and kept our water glasses filled, as well as providing us with prawn crackers and sauces. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and are excited to come back again."

"after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"Was very good, would definitely recommend! The service was lovely and perfectly attentive. The food was cooked to order and delicious, especially the salt and pepper chips. Haven’t tried the korean bbq but looks very good, otherwise the all you can eat chinese is the best around and worth the price (just remember cash. Can’t wait to come back and try it all, already been twice in the last month!"

"Dinner was excellent if a little slow, great value if you have the dinner bread and breakfast option as there are no surcharges for any of the dishes. My only hrip was that Breakfast was advertised open until 11am on sat and Sunday but at 1030 we went for breakfast and many items had run out from the buffet. when we asked if I here would be any more we were told that the kitchen stopped breakfast at 1030. The main reason for the complain is that if the breakfast was cooked to order as in some places and you wen down at 1030 the the food would be the same standard all through the service and in this case it wasn't."

"We arrived exactly at 9.00 am the time our table was booked (as we had been requested to do some weeks ago) and were informed that there were no tables left in the restaurant. We were offered a table in the lounge/bar area or a little side room that had been opened for the overflow. We chose the side room. It was pleasant enough but tea and coffee was not served there as it was in the restaurant. Guests had to make it themselves using the thermos flasks of coffee or hot water. This was disappointing but would not have been a problem if ordinary tea and milk had been provided to go with the hot water. A waitress did try to rectify this as soon as she was told but had difficulty locating the tea so by the time she got back we were halfway through our cooked breakfast. We do not understand how the restaurant can run out of tables if a time slot has to be booked in advance. Surely the policy of pre-booking must apply to ALL guests. In addition to that the guests were not asked to wear masks while serving themselves at the buffet. While it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask it is common sense."

"Fantastic place beautifully decorated and a good size, with tables comfortably apart which I appreciate. The staff are polite, friendly and swift to act. The food came incredibly fast, was just the right temperature and was absolutely delicious! Just the right portion sizes, so please treat yourself to a starter and dessert as well. Their desserts were absolutely outstanding, the high point of a brilliant meal can't recommend them highly enough. Perfectly reasonably priced, a wonderful experience all round. About all I can suggest is please introduce even more options! Can't wait to see what else you can create!"

"Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the experience at BEJU as it was over rated and the restaurant was trying to reach a 5 star standard it is far from. Myself, my boyfriend and two of our friends were very much looking forward to the food and drinks. It was expensive and I was expecting a better service from the staff. We were sat at the bottom of the restaurant where the DJ stand is. This was the main problem of the meal due to the fact, we felt like it was a nightclub and had to literally shout across the table to have a conversation. Several times we asked the staff if we could move up the room if it would make any difference as it wasn’t worth it. The manager would turn down the music and the DJ would turn it back up. Seen as it wasn’t a cheap meal and we wanted the full experience we ordered the starters and then cancelled the mains. It was a shame as if the atmosphere would of been correct, it would of been brilliant. Don’t get me wrong the music choice and playlist were top tier but I came out with an headache. After the staff apologised to us plenty of times we found it more frustrating as they were not solving the situation. By the end of the meal which were only starters, I asked for a reduction of the receipt. They took off the service charge which is optional anyways. By all means come for cocktails and nibbles but we will certainly not be returning."

"This is not, in fact, a tea house, but a Chinese food restaurant! They have a sizable GF menu and offer delivery, pickup, and dine in options. Edit: I’ve ordered delivery twice now and haven’t gotten glutened. They have a cross-contamination statement on their website, which I suspect is just for legal reasons, but I was able to specify that I have coeliac and request separate packaging and allergy prep to reduce cc as much as possible and they were very accommodating. My takeout containers were even specifically marked as gf."

"Shocking service if you're sitting in the bar area. Our plates were left on our table for 50 minutes before being taken away. One meal and one pudding wasn't available. The pudding took 50 minutes to arrive after I chased the staff twice, only to be told then that one of the puddings wasn't available. The member of staff informed me that there was only one dessert person on duty and didn't even bother to go the kitchen to chase our order. Surely staff shortage isn't a concern of any customer?? I emailed and complained and no one has bothered to respond. Very disappointed with Hunloke not value for money and overrated."

"Due to friend's recommendation we decided to dine on this pub but we were not disappointed. When entered the restaurant, it gave an impression of this is a child friendly modern pub with free WiFi. Due to Covid, the staff accommodate us a table even...we did not book. The food are standard pub food but aware of the portion. I ordered Salt and Pepper Squid salad as main, it has almost calamari with a big bowl of salad. It was tasty. Hubby and youngest ordered burgers, their wee (small) burger portion is substantial bigger. The loaded nacho is filling with good amount of cheese, chilli beef jalapeño. Overall, mains filled satisfied tummys. It wad value for money with the price we paid which is very hard to find around tourist Fort William The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will visit again if around the area."

"Always lovely to have food here, I went out with my family to celebrate my GCSE results as well as my Grandfathers birthday and we all had a fantastic time. The staff are lovely here too. Had a nice chat with a couple of them today Vegetarian options: My sister is a Vegetarian and she was able to enjoy the food just as the rest of us were Parking: There is no onsite parking here but there are options nearby such as parc Tawe Kid-friendliness: Accepting of Kids here. They class the child as under 140 Cm so if they are taller than this they will be charged adult prices. Younger children will need help when going up to the buffet."

"This is the only review we could find in Chinese. I can be quite picky when it comes to Chinese restaurants, but I must say that I loved everything we ordered. The flavors of all the dishes were exactly to my liking and met my expectations. I had the fish with ginger, an early nibble, Chinese-style dumplings, and seasonal vegetables with tofu. The staff was polite and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Chinese cuisine. And if you're not Chinese, don’t hesitate to come here! There is a parking space right in front of the restaurant, but it's not free; you need to pay from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. However, if you park a bit further in the city center, you can find an hour of free parking within a short walking distance."

"This was the first occasion that my family had visited these premises to enjoy an evening meal. However there was no initial warm welcome by the staff and were directed to our table where we ordered our meal and drinks. The food was excellent and presented well but it was truly noticeable that the staff were not happy to be serving you and they never asked anyone of five of us in the party if the food supplied was alright and appeared to ignore our table for further drinks etc. We had to ask for our bill numerous times and had to wait a while before it was presented to us to pay. Such was our concern by the staffs behaviour we asked to speak to the manager to give them feedback so that the staff could have training in customer service but were informed that there was no manager on duty that evening. Even on our way out the staff ignored us instead of thanking us for our custom which is a pity, as you don't get a second chance to make a first impression and as a result will certainly lose our future custom."

"Great restaurant. Visited for my Wife’s Birthday with friends. Booked via Facebook messenger because there were problems with the phone lines which are now fixed. FB messenger response was quick and very polite. Seating has plenty of room and when we arrived the place was buzzing with happy diners. Food choice is vast and reasonably priced, service was excellent and the owner manager very attentive to everyone’s needs. Another great eatery in Drayton. Cannot wait for next visit Thank you"

"The background music for a restaurant was a bit loud, the atmosphere was more like going into a bar. The lighting was too dark, we had to walk very carefully not to trip over. We had a large party so they have arranged a separate room, so that was good privacy. The food was okay, but for the price I was paying, I was expecting something better than that. However, the presentation was wonderful. I ordered a sweet sour pork, the meat so really dry and tough. The braised beef dish was quite a disappointment, the meat was not tender like how it should and the turnip was obviously not fresh and old felt like it’s been stored in the bridge for a long time). The hot sour soup only tasted vinegar, the chicken was off. The salt pepper soft shell crab was fabulous. I was expecting more sophisticated service from this nice restaurant, however one of the waitresses really surprised me with her rushy attitude. The speed for our order was incredibly fast, we ordered quite a few dishes but did not expect them to be served all at the same time. Literally there was not space she could put the dishes on the table. So I had to hold the plates while she tried to jiggle around the ones already on the table. Then she hassled us to all take a piece of soft shell crab from the plate so she could clear that plate! The quality and service did not worth £250 last night."

"Several vegan options, all of which are tasty and good value for money. It's all fairly standard fayre except the Thai burger, definitely better than the only other dine-in place nearby (Moorings Hotel) whose veggie options have dwindled year by year into nothing. There's plenty of seating inside The Lochy, as well as four or so outdoor tables. Staff have always been friendly, and there's a separate pub area next to the dining room which has pool and darts, if you fancy a drink and some games after your meal!"
