"I recently visited this restaurant for the first time in a long time and it appears that there have been changes in management/staff. The service was terrible. The chef, an old and miserable man, didn't speak to us and looked at us with disdain. He took our order without saying a word and brought the food out without giving us plates. When I asked for plates, he pointed to small saucers on the table. When I asked for dinner plates, he walked off in a huff and came back with only one plate. Another customer came in and the old man rudely interrupted the young guy who seemed nice and chill. The food was mediocre with too much oil, salt, and undercooked meat. The place was dirty, with dirty cutlery and broken and dirty tables. This place should be closed down. I will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews, but this place was unacceptable. I give it a 0/10."

"No filter just chicken. There's something fundamentally beautiful about spit roasted chicken and when you consider its done over coal, well let's just say it gets even better. Chicken shop offers one of the best spit roast chickens I have tasted to date. Simple food shouldn't be complicated and when it's done this well it adds a new meaning to comfort food. Enough of that! On to the chicken, wonderfully spit roasted to perfection it literally melts off your tongue whilst eating Mmmm I cannot stress how disappointing nandos will taste after trying this . Next on to the sides where chicken shop really needs to improve on, both the fries and corn were tasty but unmemorable, a wider range of sides will such as mash might help on that front. Lastly the house sauces super recommended for both the chili fans and the smokey BBQ fans, a perfect companion to the mouthwatering chicken. You must go there and try it! -8.5/10"

"This fish and chip shop is pretty good. The chips they serve are always cooked perfectly and delicious. The masala cod is tasty, but a bit too salty. The fried chicken is also good. A small order of cod, chips, and mushy peas costs £8.74, which is a great deal considering the generous portion sizes, especially the large piece of fish. It's one of the cheapest options in the area. However, a downside is that they package the food in plastic bags, which can make the food soggy. It would be better to use paper bags instead."

"the vegan menu was limited to two appetizers, two netzens and a few pages, but a lot of thought had gone clearly into them. we shared the KFC Korean fried cauliflower with gochugang, chives and salat and the tempura tofu bao bun with picked shitake, miso dressing, wakame and sweet chili. I had the vegan ramensuppe for my head and a side of greens with soy and ginger. the starters were the stars of the show that the kfc was really sharp and the Bao-beat tasted from the sea. the smoker was tasty, but not as beaten as the appetizers. service was good and the staff was very friendly. the only vegan wein was of course the most expensive on the menu (after the sommelier.) after a fast google I discovered that one of the cheaper white wines was also vegan the 2019 les archeres vermentino for those who might be interested! updated by previous review on 2021-08-05 updated by previous review on 2021-08-05"

"I have been a loyal customer of this chip shop for years, but I have noticed that the prices are constantly increasing while the portion sizes are getting smaller. The quality of the food is still great, but the amount of chips served seems to be less than before. The prices have gone up, making it one of the priciest chip shops around for the portion size. Despite this, the food is delicious and the service is top-notch. The fish and chips are particularly tasty, but a bit expensive for what you get."

"The outdoor seating is positioned perfectly to provide great views over the canal. Indoors is absolutely stunning and pays homage to the building's origins. Finally, the food... Wow! Incredible, couldn't fault the food. It was well presented and tasted amazing! The provided doggy treats were a hit with ours eating his body weight in them. Overall, 10/10 and definitely on my list of places to visit again!"

"the salatable was almost empty. I guess it'll be refreshed. but I think they had problems with the lack of personal, so I think that his mostly up or supervised more with full staff, as today they had to stop serving around 1930 due to personal problems. the floor around some tables needed cleaning. again I am sure to eat up to the personal levels that was in order and the girl that served us was nice and worked by her feet."

"Favorite Chickenstall in Coventry is a hit! I love the taste of the food and the affordable prices. The only downside is that the storage space is small, which can be inconvenient if it gets crowded while waiting for takeaways. "I love this place. The food is absolutely delicious. The ambiance is great for relaxing. We had onion rings, sliders, fries, and pasta. The onion rings and pasta were amazing. The cheese on the fries didn't taste very good and the sliders were a bit cold and not very crispy. The staff at this restaurant is really friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at this place."

"Despite P moving south of the river almost 6 months ago, we have never really ventured into Brixton. Rather on a night out we are more likely to head to central London. However this weekend we decided it was about time we explored Brixton considering how much we had heard it to be a foodie haven. Oh my goodness was it overwhelming. The array of choices was never ending and as we wandered around the market, the smells floating out of the kitchens teased us making it impossible to decide where to eat. It also didn’t help that every single restaurant was filled making it difficult to choose based on popularity."

"As others have said, there are plenty of vegan options. The Korean BBQ (you cook on the table grill) is for minimum of 2 people. I opted for the Bibimbap with tofu, which was okay but actually not as tasty as the one I make at home. Service was very good and i particularly liked that they didn’t rush us. Downstairs is getting renovated and is a bit of a building site, but toilets in the basement are still accessible."

"I've not been to Burger King or McDonalds for 10yrs+, and won't be going again. I remember them having way better burgers than McDonalds, but this one was rubbish just grey, tasteless meat tasted more like the boiled sole of a welly. Plus, the drive through guy gave me not one, not two, but SEVENTEEN packs of salt!! Just a touch wasteful."

"seems leon always bursts with delicious vegan options and comes constantly with new menu items. I am so sad that they got rid of the delicious but funny named jack bites, but there are still many delicious items that are selected on the menu. the black bean hotbox is in order, but since the part does not seem to fill, they might want to order a page. burger options are great. the vegan frezy loaded waffelfries are definitely a delicious tasty bite! all london stand places where I have eaten are quite consistent. never had any misunderstandings here and the quality is noisy. solid 3.5"

"We had a late dinner here yesterday. Family of 7 with small kids and teens. Place was pack and busy but there were plenty of tables. We had single kebab with rice and nan, half grill chiken, chicken wings and nuggets(toddler cant handle spice). All very well seasoned and tasty. I would definitely go again for the kebabs and grilled chicken. And also to try other items in the menu which are too many. Even tho it was busy they had plenty workers and our food trickled in quick enough! Cash only which was a bit inconvenient for travellers or tourists like us. There are parkings off street outside. The place is loud and informal it is that kind of place so come for the food! We would recommend and come back if we ever in Preston again."

"Came into Burger king today for some dinner whilst having a break from my shopping. I was greeted by a lovely looking chap named jack, who was smiling and seemed happy to help with anything i needed. I felt so welcomed and greeted by him, and the service was amazing, he really made my day, cracking jokes, and getting on with me well, all whilst staying professional. I think all staff who work there should aspire to be as cheerful and delightful to interact with. The food came and was absolutely lovely, and when i requested some sauce, once again jack was ready to serve me, still just as welcoming. i have never experienced such amazing customer service at a fast food place before, and Jack, has made my week! :"
