"Good selection of food and every dish we ordered was well cooked, very tasty and reasonably priced, especially the Nepalese choices. But the service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not full. We waited an hour and a half from finishing our starters to receiving the main course, as did several other tables, which is just unacceptable. They need to get more staff, otherwise people won't go back. a real shame as the quality of the food is very good."

"We had booked a table but that didn't seem to matter, we felt like a bit of an inconvenience. No kids menu offered as Mothers Day (MD) so apparently had too much to cook to do kids . Absolutely ridiculous and we weren't told this. Our 10 yr old had to share our starter and then struggle with an adult pizza. We were Sat in a draft as they kept he door open to serve people outside. My mimosa as part of MD special was a 2/3rd glass of Buck's Fizz (not the cocktail promised) disappointing and not very special. Lamb in chianti was ok lamb very fatty (not rendered down sufficiently) and not particularly hot. Tiramisu was a highlight though. Service wasn't good they were too busy and still kept ramming people in. We normally love Zizzi but this one I would not recommend."

"The cocktails (a negroni and a Lady Sexby) were really enjoyable. The steak burger was good although I like to be asked how I take mine as I have it pink. It came out quickly after we ordered. I don't think either of us were blown away by the fries (peri peri for him and truffle oil and parmesan for me) but that's OK. We sat in the window which was a great spot so we could people watch. Apparently they're having a refurb of the bar soon. It doesn't feel like it is needed but it can't be a bad thing. I'd go again but probably for drinks rather than food. The burger at £19 was overpriced. I think £17 maximum would be more appropriate."

"Family went for a birthday celebration on Friday evening. Bar staff made mistakes with drinks order and gave malibu and coke not lemonade. There ware 9 addults and 2 babies. The food orders wer supposed to all come together at the same time but my sister her partner and son all had a long wait for their meals. When we asked how come there was such a long wait they offered my sister a free glass of wine by way of an apology but it would have been better if the food had all come at the same time. We ordered 3 Lasagne, 2 beef and 1 chicken and bacon from the specials board the servers brought us 4 and didn't know which ones they were. The steaks ordered were supposed to come with pepper sauce but tasted strongly of curry. this is the 2nd time family members have vistied where meals have not been what was ordered so maybe the staff need better training and more diligence with bringing correct dishes to the right customers. The venue is lovely and I even had a laugh with the bar man when one of the bar staff didn't appear to understand him telling her he was going to change the coke syrup and to pour a diet coke for me so I was quite disappointed in our experience. That said, when i got my correct chicken and bacon lasagne it was very tasty. Sadly we won't return again."

"Came here at around 11am for a coffee a few days ago. My friend and I were rudely told we could only stay if we ordered food otherwise we'd have to vacate our table and leave. We promptly left and went to Middeys a few doors down who were more than happy to accommodate us for a coffee despite being busy. Not sure what's changed at Miracles but I've been there for just a coffee in the past so it's a shame that they blatantly showed that all they care about is making money over customer experience. Will never be returning."

"Bit of a step down from my previous visit unfortunately. Service was slow despite us being one of only two tables the whole time we were there. Pizzas were not as good as the last visit, with the bases being very thin and lacking in crust, we also both had large amounts of burnt flour on the underside which left a bit of an aftertaste. My son's burger was great though, and he was very happy with it. There seemed to be a lot of takeaway orders leaving the kitchen, which I think was partly why service was slower than before. I'd avoid sitting by the windows if you can, the delivery drivers park there and their headlights make it feel like you're under a spotlight :"

"we visit the bell and bear two or three times in the month because of their great selection of beer, but last night we had something to eat there. I ordered the chicken and bacon salad from the special board. wonderful, excellant worth for money, very healthy and hearty and obviously prepared with thought and passion! the presentation was very kreatiw, especially the balsamico dimmer as a middle piece with the other ingredients carefully arranged to give a beautiful color sprayer. I thanked the staff, and apparently it was the idea of one of the younger employees. I think they said her name was close? please give us our thanks to them and we look forward to seeing hannahs chicken bacon salad regularly on the menu."

"Catching up on an a review of an early morning breakfast in Edinburgh, back in August of this year. As just mentioned, this was an early morning stop before taking on a long day of seeing the sites and touring Edinburgh Castle(which was incredibly amazing!! . Cafe Rouge is a nice touch of Frances in the downtown area of Edinburgh. The ambience is bright and quite cheerful. I enjoyed a traditional breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and a side oh baked beans perfect! The coffee is amazing fresh and served piping hot the way it should be. The service was very good, didn't notice our server much, but she had everything covered well done. Great way to start a busy day. Definitely a must do if you are in the area!"

"I have come to this place since my childhood, and after I wasn't for a few years, I was absolutely thrilled to find so many vegan options for my visit this time! In addition to these options there are vegan starters, mains and deserts and other customizable items. I enjoyed the “Award-Sieg vegan cake” at our first night followed by the “vegan sticky toffeeee pudding”, and when we came back the next day (not resist), I enjoyed the moving mountain plant based burger. wonderful eating in a magical land pub, the evening ambiente on a summer evening is not to be missed. eating outside is a must! parking is simple and plentiful near either directly opposite in the rooms or in the nearby streets (all free). the booking is advised by website and easy or call it on the day."

"Fantastic dinner on first day of festive menu. The smoked salmon and prawn cocktail was lovely take on the traditional prawn cocktail . Salmon and prawns were both big and fresh. Main course was perfect too and very juicy . Tatties , sprouts and carrots...cooked to perfection too. Wonderful service; extremely attentive but not in your face. Big thumbs up from us and it’s back to its best . I’m just disappointed I never tried the feather blade for mains as it looked lovely , but I couldn’t have everything . Maybe next time . Highly recommended."

"We always enjoy dining at this restaurant because the food and service are consistently excellent. Unfortunately, during one of our meals, we found an unexpected ingredient in our salad - a live slug. The waitress was very apologetic and promptly replaced the meal, but after having already eaten half of it, we were hesitant to order another. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to see that we were charged the full amount. Upon questioning this, as we believed the meal was not up to standard, the manager was unhelpful and only reluctantly removed the charge for one dessert. He seemed to believe that replacing the meal was sufficient compensation, despite none of us actually consuming our salads. The evening was ultimately spoiled by the manager's dismissive attitude."

"We spent one night at this hotel and paid £180, which we found to be overpriced. The bed linens had stains on them, and although there were some updates in the room such as new curtains and artwork, we had difficulty using the kettle because the cord was too short. There was constant noise from doors slamming below, and the plumbing in the neighboring room was so loud it could wake the dead. The fact that breakfast was not included in the price was disappointing. The smell of food in the hallways was overwhelming, and the broken window sashes made the room feel stuffy with no ventilation. We were not informed about the road construction outside, and parking was a considerable distance away with limited time available. Overall, we felt the hotel did not live up to its 3-star rating and would only give it a 2-star rating at best. We suggest saving your money and finding accommodation farther out of town."

"Location is great, just off seven dials in Covent Garden. It's a little like walking into a slightly posh canteen in style, but not a bad thing. Tables all set in rows, exposed brick work, slight school feel grey chairs, but a comfortable atmosphere.The mezze sharing platter was very nice, although I'm not totally sure it's region, but that's just because I didn't order and see the menu. It consisted of olives, spiced nuts, cheese, bread, green chillies and artichokes. It was all very good though, but felt a little like a mish mash of food. That said, it was all finished!We had pork belly and potatoes which was lovely. The pork belly was crispy and chewy and perfectly cooked, it was very filling and really tasty. It came with a potato rosti of some sort which was divine. The garlic and oyster mushrooms were a great accompaniment, very nice.We had cocktails, which were lovely, if not (like London) a little stingy. Too much ice in one and not filled in a martini glass in another, which made us feel slightly robbed. Tasty though.Team were polite and made us feel welcome. A nice visit and we came away feeling very full."
