"Stayed at the premier Inn at Westfield in Stratford for the weekend March 8-10. First night we decided to stay at Westfield and eat after a long day travelling. We were going to eat at TGI’s but the que was huge so we had a quick look at the menu at Giraffe and our 12 year old daughter was happy with what she saw. We were seated very quickly and sadly that was the quickest part of the service the entire night. Our server was very polite and sat us at our table and handed us our menus from then on it was as if we had disappeared from sight 10 minutes later she returned to take our drinks order. She then came back and took our food order my wife ordered the enchilada, I ordered the buritto and our daughter the wrap and homemade crisps.Waiting for our food we talked and drank our drinks nobody asked if we wanted refills and trying to get someone’s attention was an impossible task. Then out on of the blue our daughters meal arrived so thinking ours was on the way we knabbed the server to get some more drinks. To call our daughters wraps small would be an understatement they looked more like canapés anyway we expected ours to appear any moment but with our daughter eating as slowly as humanly possible her wraps were gone. Still waiting at this point for our meals to appear she started on her crisps, getting down to the last 1 or 2 our meals arrived 15 minutes after our daughters so we quickly ordered extra fries for our daughter and more drinks because we weren’t sure when a member of staff would be passing our way again. My wife’s enchilada looked very nice much nicer than my buritto which looked a bit ‘cardboardy’. The enchilada looked nice but lacked flavour, my burrito although well filled the base was burned and hard the fries were nice though. Finished our meal and our table was cleared then waited 20 minutes before getting someone’s attention, asked for the dessert menu only to be told minutes later by our original server that the kitchen was closed. I’m really sorry I’m not usually a complainer but the service was dreadful the food very average. The price of 1 adult meal was removed from the final bill but this did not make up for a very bad experience. I now realise why giraffe are closing so many locations."

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime when Saracens were playing rugby at the London stadium. It was, needless to say, rather busy.

Shopping at Westfield decided to stop here for lunch was shown to a seat really quick. Lots to pick from the menu Had the Slow cooked BBQ Ribs and we were able to change the chips to Sweet Potato Fries great service View menu

Went to Giraffe yesterday bit of a queue but it moved quickly. Pleasant staff and well organised . Restaurant was busy but we were served quickly good food well cooked and hot . Dessert of banana split waffle was good highly recommend.

Staff unfriendly and slow, and I came at a time where he restaurant was mostly empty. Very slow service and staff quite unfriendly. Food was average and in some instances cold. Cocktail very weak. Not sure there was any alcohol in it and certainly none of the advertised chilli.

First time I've ever sent food back, had brunch with a friend and our food was cold, not warm, cold and this was after waiting an age for it to arrive, replacement meal was slightly better, had been warned by a friend about a bad experience in a Giraffe restaurant, wish I'd have listened. View menu

The food was okay nothing amazing. When settling the bill they caused issue because we were using our tastecard and they wanted us to pay set menu prices. However after working it out ourselves as they didn’t want to we found out that we would be saving £10. The manager then tried to make us feel bad for waiting till she fixed the bill again. Don’t think we will visit this branch again, never had a situation like this before.

Tried to visit this restaurant today. Was advised by the none to helpful assistant that there was a 20 minute wait and it would be best if we went somewhere else. When we asked if we could wait she said there were no seats although all the seats at the bar were unoccupied. Customer service zero. Went next door to TGI Fridays, had to wait but lovely staff who were super helpful. From our seat we watched a number of other groups go into giraffe no problem.
