"Have been a few times with mixed results so decided to give it another go, as we are local. Wish we hadn't bothered. No atmosphere, two members of staff standing behind bar chatting, got drink on my top from the dirty bar, table top was sticky to touch. Ordered second drink as had to wait for 50min for food to come. Ordered Heritage Burger Chicken skewer... what came was greasy chips, you could taste the old oil off them. Rocket salad was dried up with a few tiny bits of tomato. Chicken was about 5/6 tiny bits of burnt chicken, and the burger looked more like a hamburger than a fresh handmade beef burger, in a co-op style bun, with horrible flash in the pan bacon. When partner complained the young waiter took it away then came back 5min later and asked if he wanted it re-cooked or something els from the menu!!! After 50min for this declined, he never offered a refund. We then sat there for another 5min and when I wasn't given any cutlery with my meal, decided it wasn't worth waiting for. Shocking to see such poor service and food in our local area, Management really need to take a good look at their chef."

Amazing hotel with incredible food. The staff is dog-friendly and very welcoming. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

The food is good but with average service and a tired looked to the place. It lacks any atmosphere but the view over the loch is nice. Worth a visit just.

there was no-one else in the restuarant so not much ambiance but it was fine, the waiter was helpful and the food was delicious. I would definitly eat there again.

Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to dine at the Glencoe Inn and were pleasantly surprised. We thoroughly enjoyed our two evening meals and two delicious Scottish breakfasts. The service was quick and the staff were welcoming and accommodating.

We came here for a slightly more upmarket meal during a holiday staying in a nearby cottage in Glencoe. The hotel was very quiet and we were the only people eating. Service was a bit slow given this was the case and the menu was quite restrictive. The food was OK but nothing special and not really up to the full menu price. We had a 2 for 1 deal using a gourmet card and this made it good value.

We ate here (2 families) and enjoyed our meal the 3 courses for £20 was good value and the food was good. The kids were well catered for, despite no kids menu and the staff were friendly with good service. I had smoked salmon, venison (which was a little over medium, but was OK) and the chocolate mouse which was a bit frozen and disappointing. The others enjoyed what they had, so overall a good experience. View menu

My wife and I recently dined at Glencoe Inn during our West Highland Way hike. Despite its misleading TripAdvisor name, we were disappointed with our experience. I ordered the sirloin steak, which was the worst I have ever eaten. I had requested it to be cooked medium well, but it arrived well done, dry, and unappetizing. The other dishes we tried were average, but my wife's meal was the saving grace. However, given the high prices (47 pounds for the two of us), we felt that the quality of the food did not justify the cost. Overall, we cannot in good conscience give Glencoe Inn more than 2 stars.

Passing through Glencoe my wife and I stopped for the night and decided to visit the bar. The pint of lager I ordered appeared to be a little flat and when I tried to clear the outside of my glass of condensation discovered that it was actually the lager that was severely cloudy. I have to say that the barman was very apologetic, pleasant and attentive and offered an alternative pint without hesitation. We then went to the restaurant next door and ordered a carry out fish supper and portion of chips. Total was £9.65 which I consider to be quite expensive. We waited twenty minutes and were served with the smallest portion of chips I have ever seen with a single fillet of fish and chips which w...
