A warm, comforting bowl of savory chicken soup with tender pieces of chicken, wholesome vegetables, and aromatic herbs.

"Delicious food in a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, surrounded by many Indian patrons enjoying the buffet. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is excellent—attentive, friendly, and engaging. It's a delightful spot for an authentic Indian dining experience. Regarding dietary needs, I am gluten-free, and I had no issues at all. Highly recommend for dinner!"

"During a trip to Earth High Time Dress with my sister, we booked a table for lunch at this restaurant. My daughter and I ordered the soup of the day with a sandwich, which turned out to be a delicious homemade cream of chicken soup. My daughter, who is usually picky, absolutely loved it. I even received the recipe from the cook to make it at home, which I have already tried. Unfortunately, the cakes were so good that they were sold out before we had a chance to try them. Overall, I highly recommend this bistro for its fresh and delicious food, as well as its friendly owners. Thank you for the great experience."

"absolutely terrible for anyone who wants to get what they have ordered. not even disturb when they are vegan. order vegetarian tom yum suppe to find garnelen in my suppe. I will never be back and feel hurt because I have served something against my belief. risk not. your life if you have any allergies. last time they said the vegetarian noodles have garnel sauce in!? why call it vegetarian if it is not. Substandard foods are not worth the risk. they stay well away."

"The food is to a good standard and with the buffet option unlimited, we started with prawn crackers followed by the house sharing starter and the seafood sharing starter, both were presented on one platter and we liked it all. As with every course we were offered more but declined. On to the crispy duck, unlike so many establishments they do provide sufficient pancakes, nothing worse than running out of pancakes and having have the duck left. We moved on to the mains, we chose a mixture of items, chicken, beef, prawns and pork plus rice and noodles. The service was good throughout and excellent value for £27.50 per head. Earlier in the week it is only £24.50. The restaurant was packed out, which shows how well it is regarded."

"Apart from the name which has an Asian resonance, the interior is very “lambda” Where are the chopsticks for eating? I chose a quarter of crispy duck and pancakes, what a surprise, I was served dried flaked duck (I never have the piece of duck with its crispy skin), my wife who chose pork with eggplant somewhat searched for the small slices of Pork We also had rice with egg and vegetables whose cooking did not correspond to the name. We ate out of respect, paid and left the establishment The waitresses pressed themselves against the radiator to keep warm"

"My wife and myself stayed in Southampton for a Saturday night out and before setting back to London we tried Burger Bodega for the first time after hearing great reviews for food . The establishment was tastefully renovated and the bar was showing the football . Plenty of different areas to sit if you didn’t want to hear the tv . We had tapas and all the food was piping hot and very tasty especially the chicken soup which had lots of different spices in it ! I wouldn’t hesitate going again if we’re in Southampton again one day . The owner and chief Sarah was very friendly and we felt at home . Very good prices as well . We were very happy on motorway back to London"

"We ordered Full English breakfasts and my daughter had poached eggs and avocado. Unfortunately, all three plates had overcooked eggs with hard yolks, undercooked bacon with raw-looking fat. However, the sausage and hash brown were tasty. Priced at £12.50, we found it to be overpriced considering there are brasseries nearby that offer better quality food at a similar price. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, which says a lot. It's disappointing as we have enjoyed our meals here in the past, but we won't be returning."

"I have been coming to this takeout for the majority of the past 34 years, it has always been a great place as it has been family-owned for many years. for as long as I can remember, the food has always been top-notch. Interestingly, it's not the lovely Chinese food that is my choice when eating here although I highly recommend the Chinese food, as well as the English options, my recommendation is simply the incredible fries and gravy maybe with a battered sausage generously, add a ladle of rich dark gravy, a little salt and vinegar and possibly have the best takeout in the area. . . . . . highly recommended!"

"Sessions is run by Lincoln College allowing catering and hospitality students the chance to run a high standard restaurant service for members of the public. Really enjoyed the imaginative Puerto Rico themed tasting menu. All the flavours worked well together and the food was superbly presented, and we were served by a very friendly and helpful waiter. Definitely recommend. DE MALLORCA: A Sweet bread accompanied by chilli butter and salted butter. FRIED PLANTAIN WITH MOJO DE AJO AND PIQUE: Fried Banana (not plantain), with a garlic dipping and hot sauce. COCONUT SEAFOOD STEW: Inspired by my love for the sea, a coconut stew containing cod, crab, plaice and shrimp. REFRESHING MOJITO SORBET: A pallet cleanser containing rum and mint, frozen for a refreshing experience. AREAS CON GRADULES PAIRED WITH SLOW COOKED PERNIL: A hearty rice dish containing nutritious peas with a slow cooked joint of pork, braised over 8 hours. PINA COLADA PANA COTTA: Last but not least, a delicious mousse-like dessert, flavoured with coconut rum and topped with delicious fruits, and miniature Maraschino cherries."

"Though my family aren’t religious my dad has long claimed to be gastronomically Jewish. Just like everyone he craves the comforting food of childhood that he ate growing up in the East End of London. Living in Stamford Hill, my dad could easily grab a salt beef bagel (or two! , pick up some gefilte fish or get a good dose of chicken soup. There aren’t many Jewish restaurants in London and most are located in Jewish communities such as Golders Green, so it’s not an easy task finding my dad a restaurant that serves his favourite childhood classics. That’s why when I saw the menu at Fischer’s I knew it would be perfect for him…Ok, Fischer’s isn’t a Jewish restaurant, it’s actually Austrian…but the menu is packed with his favourites and trust me there aren’t many places in London with chopped liver and pickled herring on the menu. Chopped liver is my dad’s absolute favourite and he had no doubt what (one of his starters would be. Fischer’s serve it with Matzo, as it is traditionally served at Passover, an religious occasion where leavened bread is forbidden. I asked my dad if it was as good as his sister makes, ‘No’ was the reply….well I guess it’s never quite the same…but he still gobbled the whole thing up and was so excited by the menu that he had two starters."

"Came here on June 10/23, I was here like 7 years before and wanted to see this place again and maybe have sometime to eat, I sat down and received a menu and decided to have a full English breakfast and had 2 colas. The meal was decent and one thing I have noticed that has changed specifically was they added an awning since the last time I came here. I recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. 5 of 5 for great atmosphere and decor 5 of 5 for great customer service 4.5 of 5 for good food 4.75 of 5 overall for a wonderful place"

"Unfortunately, the dining experience in this restaurant did not even come close to the beautiful surroundings in which it is located. The building itself is striking, demonstrating the typical slate brick construction on so many buildings in the lake district, however, unfortunately, that 's where it 's positive impact ends. The decor, which was perhaps intended to be create a classic country pub ambience, is closer to what what one might see in the dining room of a nursing home. David Dickinson would not be impressed. The customer service, whilst civil, lacked any genuine warmth or salutation. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the food was significantly disappointing. The majority of offerings were redolent of reheated frozen food(the phrase 'Aunt Bessies 's ' was used on a number of occasions), the meats were tough and lacklustre and the pigs in blankets were the worst I have ever seen in 45 years walking this earth. Any exposure that they may have had to a heat source, seemed purely accidental. It is quite frankly, criminal, that an establishment such as this should, seemingly, rely solely on it 's isolated position to mug hikers off, who after having traversed some serious terrain, should be rewarded with offerings that are befitting of the great adventures they are. Perhaps they should replace it with a Premier Inn...."

"Little loud. Place was packed, but they were very accommodating. Asked if we could come back in 20 mins- 30 mins, they reserved a table for us. The food was really yummy. Had fish, chips, and side salad. Everything is nice and fresh. Decent portion size. Like everything, everywhere, prices have gone up. But they've managed to keep it reasonable. We had ordered pudding, but had to leave before eating, staff very kindly boxed it for us to take with us. 1 bread and butter pudding, 1 apple crumble. Apple crumble lovely and soft, tasted delicious. Being picky I would have liked more apple. Parking: It can be awkward to find a space close by, due to popularity, and on a main road. But if you have patience, spaces open up. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Child friendly menu. There are highchairs, room for buggies at the tables. There is baby changing table located in the disabled toilet. Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is on the flat, so easy to access and get around inside the cafe. Plenty room at tables for wheelchairs. There is a nicely equipped disabled toilet, high toilet, foldable grab rails, emergency pull cord."

"We asked to take last Saturday. They told us that the food would be an hour and a half, as they were very busy. After waiting more than an hour and a half we called to see where the delivery went and told me there would be no other 15 minutes (the length of time it takes to reach ours) and came after two hours. The driver gave up apologized to be fair and said he had been a busy man."

"Words fail to describe how good this place is! Their Guiness is sheer perfection I don't know what they do to it but its 10/10 as good or even better than I've had in Ireland If you don't live near DON'T have the Guiness here as nothing else will ever compare! The Service all the staff soo friendly and helpful 10/10 The food The Cabbage, Ham , Potato and Parlsey Sauce Man Sooo Good as is everything on the Menu And just when you think things can't get better, try the Sunday Carvery it tastes homemade, 1000 better than a Toby Carvery even the Carrots are out of this world! Easily one of the best Pubs I've been to Can't be faulted, well maybe the crowds that go there on Sundays and when events are on! Hardly the Pubs fault for being so popular!"

"This is a find table first then order restaurant which may be ok in quiet periods but to a sole diner, it 's not so good. Add Covid 19 and the fact that the carvery ordering process means queuing up to pay at one counter, obtain a voucher then head off to the carvery to get the food you want then return to the table only to find it occupied by someone else not the most efficient system for the public.Being on my own, I decided to forego the carvery and settled on Scampi chips as they had just run out of my first choice, fish chips. Ah well, we can 't have it every way.Having ordered my food, I had to give the table number but the only empty ones required clearing and sanitising. Whilst the cashier shouted to someone to get the table cleaned, it was around 15 minutes before my food arrived and the detrius of the previous occupier was finally removed no sanitising though. The tray containing my food was unceremoniously dropped onto the table, not a word uttered and the waiter simply returned from whence he came taking the previous diners old dishes. Fortunately I had some sanitizer in my pocket and did the sanitising myself. The food (Scampi, chips peas) was certainly freshly prepared and it was really good unfortunately I would have liked brown sauce but the waiter was 'off his mark ' so quickly, I had no opportunity to request it.All in all, a reasonable visit with good food but could do with changing their layout, processes and give some more training to the staff.Would I go back? Probably but only to see if things improve."

"We love traditional deli sandwiches, especially Pastrami and Reubens. However, Monty 's pastrami Reubens, the star of the show, was rather lackluster. First of all, it was tiny! A little sandwich and half a pickle on a plate with nothing besides. The flavour of the pastrami was good, but it was powdery and dry in texture (overcooked). There also wasn 't a lot of it! The pickle it was served with was good and so was the Sauerkraut, but the rye bread was very light (and small). We also had a salt beef Reuben which was nice, but also quite small! Latkes were very good and so were the drinks coffee and egg cream! We ended with a sesame bagel that wasn 't very big nor chewy enough like a traditional bagel. Feeling a bit disappointed because the reviews we read online gave high ratings. On the plus side, the waiters were friendly and helpful."

"Oh dear!!! Soup from a Can& Bland Chicken. Landlady Smoking and drinking bottle of Wine in the Snug room next to the Bar, yes we did see you after we had ordered. its more of a locals place where no-one cares if people smoke in there . Think the Owners need to retire and shut up shop. more of a **** Up the Inn. Shame as could be a nice place if cleaned up served home cooked food rather than out of a tin."

"The best meal I've ever had! I tried the cream of watercress and pesto soup, and it was fantastic. I also had venison served on a bed of mushrooms and kale, accompanied by a hot pot. For dessert, I enjoyed a lemon tart—so many delicious flavors! The staff was beautiful and attentive, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My dining companion had lentil soup, sea bass with Serrano ham, and sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!"

"We are a group of Singaporean visitors, scourging the land for Asian food after a week of burgers, fries, fish and chips and steaks. Oh boy, were we satisfied. Imagine cold winds blowing at you while you run from your car to the restaurant. You are freezing and the traffic light refuses to turn. You enter the restaurant, hungry, cold and angry. You feel a warm blast of air and a familiar waft of fried rice and noodles. You smile, you found home. Back to the review, big portions of food. most dishes are priced at NZD$20. we had 4 people, we order 3 dishes and a medium portion of rice. It was more than enough. Beef with broccoli was our favorite dish. We came back the next day for lunch. They have a cheaper lunch menu, serving rice and noodles of different variety. I had the roast duck noodles which was mmmhmmm. Recommend to go for Asian tourists who missed home-cooked food."
