"Abysmal service from staff who couldn’t care less about their customers. Arriving 1 ½ hours before the restaurant’s closing time , our order was taken and drinks and starters arrived soon after. So far so good. It was a quiet evening mid week so we expected our meal to arrive fairly promptly. But half an hour later there was no sign of our pizzas and we were now the only remaining customers in the restaurant. Patiently we sat and waited …and waited… completely ignored by the staff who were chatting and clearing the tables around us. Finally, I succeeded in catching the eye of a waiter to be assured that our pizzas were “just going into the oven”. When another ten minutes had passed with no sign of our pizzas I went over to the kitchen to discover that our pizzas had most definitely not gone into the oven because the “chefs” hadn’t even got round to preparing them. A whole hour eventually passed between our order being taken and our meal being served. To add insult to injury the pizza base on mine was cool and barely cooked. A one hour wait on a quiet night for much of the time we were the only diners is inexcusable. So too is the “couldn’t care less” attitude of the staff towards their customers. The reputation of Pizza Express has been built on serving food of dependable quality and prompt and attentive service . This branch of the chain is a notable exception by far the worst I’ve encountered when dining at numerous branches of Pizza Express over the last 40 years."

"Absolutely disgusted. Let 's call out the Manager Aaron real quick. Dont know who it is hiring at this dominos, but you need to have a good look into this branch. Just ordered a pizza and adjuated the toppings to have sausage, chicken breast strips, and pork meatballs. Once the pizza arrived , I noticed the chicken given was Tandori chicken. My wife is allergic to Chilli powder, so I called back and spoke with Manager Aaron. I explained the situation, and his response was, we will send out another pizza. Sorted! No.....not really. I received a call from the driver asking for the previous pizza, This has never been requested before, especially from other Dominos I have ordered from, so I didn 't think to keep the pizza. My wife is deathly alergic to Chilli. I dont want to keep that in my flat. I emediently threw it out in the community trash. Once I explained this to the driver, he said, I will need to call the restaurant. I did so. Explained the situation to Manager Aaron, to which he requested a picture of the Pizza. I had taken a picture before throwing it out to keep as evidence. Aaron proceeded to call me a liar and that the pizza i had sent was not his?!?! (See the attached photos) He explained that I would need to go into the trash and get the pizza back to give it to the driver. WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH THAT PIZZA IS BEOND ME! I dont know how many people would appreciate knowing that your driver was returning food that came out of a litteral dumpster. After explaining, i didn 't want to dive into a dumpster to get the pizza box. I was informed that there was nothing that could be done....... Manager Aaron proceeded to say, we requested the pizza from you in the first call. This was a lie. I have recorded the phone call, and this was not stated. Manager Aaron then proceeded to say we always ask for the pizza back this was also a lie as the week before we had the same issue where we received a completely wrong pizza and had another sent out with no need of returning the last. When I mentioned this to Manage Aaron, he stated, Thus rule was just put in place, so why are you lying to me Manager Aaron? You dont always ask for this. You only just started......."

"A few months ago, my family of four visited the PE restaurant in Birmingham where they forgot my wife's pizza, causing her to eat alone after the rest of us. We hoped this wouldn't happen again, but unfortunately it did. Last night, we decided to try our local PE in Warwick. We arrived just before 7.00pm and waited behind another couple to be seated. Despite staff passing by, no one acknowledged us for at least 5 minutes. Just as we were about to leave, the couple in front of us was seated and we were shortly after. We placed a simple order for 1 starter to share, 2 pizzas, and 2 glasses of wine. The wine arrived in dirty glasses, for which we said nothing and cleaned them ourselves. The wine was slightly off and not worth the price. Our starter was fine, but then the waiter brought out a pizza and two small plates, assuming we were sharing. When we told him we weren't, he seemed confused. He went back and forth with another waiter, who also seemed clueless. I eventually had to shout to get their attention and correct the order. However, I realized that by the time they made my pizza, my wife would be done eating, so I cancelled the order. Before leaving, I spoke with the manager about the poor service. He apologized and acknowledged the issue had already been brought to his attention. I asked him how he would feel if his evening with his wife was ruined, to which he agreed he would not pay the bill. We followed suit. Dining out is expensive these days, but we like to support local restaurants after COVID. We do not hesitate to voice our complaints when service or food quality is subpar, although we have empathy for restaurant staff. However, after a second missed order at PE, we were fed up. They used to be good, but not anymore. Proceed with caution and prepare to pay a hefty bill if you choose to dine there."
