"on Thursday 23 6 22 visited the pough inn, eynsford, kent with my wife about 1315 clock to 1532 clock. in this time of visit the atmosphere calmly relaxed in the inn, even no problems with the parking space in the disabled bay remember their vehicle registration at the bar inn at the arrival recording! disabled entrance, toilet facilities also here. a historical inn with a historical architecture that is part of the historic village of eynsford is certainly one of the most famous picturesque villages not only in kent england, but the whole of the U.K. the beautiful upper achievements of the river darent and its famous ford crossing are always an attraction for many visitors in the heart of the village along riverside. the plough inn is conveniently located next to the river bank and awaits them with friendly, friendly and friendly staff to offer them a menu to be proud. a fairly large parking space in the spaces, but consider that this inn in where its location can be very busy due to its popularity. like most pub, gastro-pub restaurants, depending on season, day of week, daytime, it would probably be advisable to check before! but of course, they can have luck, only show up casually without a reservation, especially on a weekday. the general interieur very chic. the decor inside is a blend of smooth earthy colors to fit the walls with attractive presented furniture. table and chair arrangements are properly spaced apart, there is also an area in the upper floor. warm modern lighting and lamps, and a good long bar. very clean and hygienic round, I found. eating is very good to choose a good choice of British and Mediterranean European dishes on all courses. especially for me unforgettable is the sweet dessert! my wife and I visited here about 20 years ago, and I always remembered one of the best cheesecake I had ever eaten. this time I had the chocolate trio cheesecake, I recommend! also at this opportunity I had pan fried scallops for beginners, and the pornstars a delicious king prawn crab chorizo linguine...done too perfection in my view! only a small part, it seemed to lack quantity, but hey, made sure for it in quality. I could just have eaten another main dish....hope this note free at least to the chef and catering staff! Maybe not the fastest table service, but for me, that does not play any role in a beautiful relaxing inn where the time can drift wonderfully. perfect ideal for couples to hug their time here, ideal for a steady walk along the river banks and village. Yes, my wife and I will return at a later time. and yes, I personally give this wonderful well remembered inn my praise with an assessment of a1, 10 10 10. a pleasure to be here, enjoyed chat with the staff. a lot of luck with future hospitality and use. chris"

"We visited Oxford for my birthday, as neither of us had been before and wanted to explore a new city. We fancied Posh Pub for dinner, and after having read other reviews on Tripadvisor and looked through the menu we decided to visit The Red...Lion huge mistake. We arrived at the pub and saw the lovely interior and thought Yes, great choice. This looks like it 's going to be nice. that 's where the good things ended. We were seated in the restaurant part of the pub, which was about 7 tables off in a dark corner of the pub. We were the only diners in there tucked away from any wait staff, and after them dimming the lights we were essentially dining in the dark. We ordered our food, to which we were told the starter we wanted wasn 't available, neither were either of the mains, so we both chose other things. Keep in mind though, this was early in the evening on a Tuesday not last orders on a Saturday. How were they out? Our backup starter came out, and was ok at best a few pitted olives and some cold toasted bread. I had the deadest burger which came in a stale old bun with some overcooked chips. My companion had the rotisserie chicken which looked like it had come from the hot counter at Tesco and been kept in a sweaty plastic bag all day, with a few chips on the side not a fresh bit of salad or dollop of coleslaw or anything in sight! Really disappointing. We were then waiting for about 20 minutes before someone came over to take our plates ask about desserts etc. She asked how our food was to which we said not great and rather than asking why or even pretending to care, she just said Ok and walked off without clearing our plates. At that point we decided enough is enough and we went and paid at the bar to avoid waiting any longer and left. Overpriced for what we got. Genuinely, I 've had better food and service in a Wetherspoons. Would not recommend do not come."
